I’ve had bfp on first response and digital clear blue this week and keen to get chatting to others 🥰

Has anyone had symptoms of a UTI? I feel like I might have one. Weirdly I was thinking I need to phone the docs when a text came through from the docs regarding my sample from my booking appointment (10 days ago!!!) saying there's likely contamination. I've got to give a repeat sample so will do that later today.

Had my 9 week scan today. The baby is perfect, measuring a week ahead at 10 weeks ❤️ I'm slightly worried as I have a quite big sch next to the gestational sac, she's said she's seen bigger but jsut to keep an eye on it but it did look like it was clotting inside.

I am so looking forward to my 12 week scan. My reassurance scan at 6 weeks (private) didn’t look much like a baby (but the heartbeat was the important bit).

Hey everyone - thanks for the well wishes scan was fine today baby doing well. Refusing to cooperate in terms of getting the nuchal test done as just wanted to hide in my hip and lie with its back to us 😂 the sonographer tried everything and this was the best she could get so will have to wait for blood tests at 14 weeks. She didn't see anything immediately concerning though and I am measuring bang on 11 weeks 6 days. So nice to see the little one today!

@MamaSJ15 it's a subchorionic hematoma, basically a blood clot/bruise in the uterus harmless to baby but big big bleeds could pull the baby out with it 🤦🏻‍♀️😔x

Thanks ladies, bleeding has stopped now but still have some discomfort like I'm on my period. A hematoma would be my guess for the bleeding, really thought it was the start of a miscarriage. It was like someone turned on a tap and it wouldn't stop. I have my 12 week scan today so I'm gonna ask them to take a more thorough look for me, feel the doctor yesterday doubted me when I said it looked like a crime scene lol. She only really checked baby and the placenta.

@Rutennotou I hope it goes okay! I had a heavy bleed and I know what you mean. It was carnage my bathroom looked like a murder scene. I've got a quite big hematoma next to the babies sac which I thunk is next to the placenta so mines a bit more risky I think. She did say it looked like it was starting to clot which is a good sign but I'm still terrified! Thinking of you today 😘😘xx

We told my parents on Sunday and they’re so excited and absolutely thrilled for another grandchild. DHs grandfather is sadly very unwell in hospital as of Saturday so feels the wrong time to tell his parents at the moment.

Thanks ladies! All went well today again, baby was full of beans! Measuring 12+5 but not changing my due date. I've been prescribed progesterone for 4 weeks due to the bleeding, still can't find a cause for it. Next appointment is January 18th.

@candycrush789 ah thank you for explaining. Sounds quite scary.

Does anyone have any tricks for unblocking a nose? I have had a blocked nose for about a week and it's driving me freaking insane!! There's no decongestant that is safe in pregnancy and I'm at my wit's end now 😢

@MamaSJ15 really only useful overnight but I've found calpol plug ins help (you can get other similar ones) and sterimar salt water spray can take the edge off x

@Coffeeforlife thanks, was thinking of trying it, been using it for my daughter and cannot smell it at all (husband says he can though). Gonna go get some olbas oil from the chemist I think too

Yes I’ve found sterimar good. Safe for kids even under one so surely fine for pregnancy.

@Coffeeforlife @RandomCatGenerator turns out olbas oil isn't supposed to be used in pregnancy either 🤦🏼‍♀️ bloody hell! Where might I find that?
My boob (just one) is absolutely killing me today!! Not sure if it has something to do with my daughter leaning on it when she joined us in bed this morning. I didn't have boob pain in my first pregnancy, this is very painful!

@MamaSJ15 @RandomCatGenerator It's just salt water so absolutely fine. Pharmacies sell it as do bigger supermarkets like Tesco x

Oh my god the nausea. I feel so awful. And I’m just so sad. Ughhhhhhhh

@RandomCatGenerator im with you on this one, has come back with vengeance for me this week, I feel so rotten 😞 sending you lots of love! Hopefully we’ll be over this phase soon & feeling more functional! Xx

I really feel for everyone with nausea, I had it awful for a few weeks but it has eased off significantly now. I'm 12+3. Hoping you all get some relief soon x
