I can’t see one yet so just starting a due July 2023!

I’ve had bfp on first response and digital clear blue this week and keen to get chatting to others 🥰

@MamaSJ15 I've already given up on my jeans! Living in my leggings at the moment as can't stand having anything tight over my stomach. I'm feeling bloated and looking it too! Think it's crazy what our bodies do to us

@leanneb94 I'd normally be wearing my work clothes which are basically leggings but it's Christmas jumper day so I decided on jeans. Not the best idea!
How are you doing otherwise?

I'm okay thank you, feeling much better about my pregnancy now the initial shock has worn off. Have an early private scan booked in for the 17th December when I'll be 9 weeks. Been having a few off days nausea wise but all in all feel okay as long as I nibble on food every couple of hours.

Anyone had their booking appointment yet? I have mine tomorrow, I'm 10 and a half weeks. Doubt my 12 week scan will be this side of Xmas so will end up booking a private one if that's the case, will get the date tomorrow.

@Rutennotou i went to mine on Tuesday (at 8+2). Took a lot longer than I expected.. struggled using the little bottle for my urine sample and ended up diluting it under the automatic taps (had to drop off another sample the next day so it was fine).

my midwife was lovely and did my weight, bp, a random carbon monoxide test and my bloods and urine. Got sent home with a 1 week sample of pregnacare vitamins, a baby on board badge and a voucher for portraits in hospital, as well as my maternity booklet and an outline of when all my appointments/scans would be.

got referred for consultant care because I was ticking a few high risk boxes but tbh, I think that reassured me a little. They send off referral for scan so I haven’t got my date yet but hoping they’ll be able to fit me in before the end of the year 🤞🏽

@leanneb94 ah good that you're feeling better about it. Yeah I'm good thanks, just tired really, but working full time and dealing with a poorly 3 year old has probably taken its toll this week 😴

@Rutennotou I've got mine booked for Monday but it's a phone appointment. Hoping they're going to book an actual appointment off the back of that cause I'm not impressed with that to be honest!

Hello everyone, I've been following this thread for a while and would like to join in if that's okay. My due date as far as I know is July 26th, but I'll find out more at my first scan on December 10th, when I'll be 7+4. This is my second pregnancy, first was a blighted ovum unfortunately so not sure what I'll see on the scan. Worried but tentatively excited!

Hi everyone. I had a scan yesterday, measuring 6+4 so couldn’t see much but the lovely sonographer gave me a photo and I got to see the heart flickering away beautifully. Baby on the scan is the white mass thing at the top 😂

Think we will tell parents this weekend; we’ve told them before 12 weeks the other 3 times and it’s nice to have the support should anything go wrong.
Nausea has kicked in this week big time!

They do the carbon monoxide test at every midwife appointment. I hope you get your scan date soon!!

Oh, I didn't get a carbon monoxide test today... maybe I'll ask next time.

I'm very bloated too and look like 6 months down the road. Went to christmas party tonight and put some shaping underwear to hide the bump.

Does anyone else feel like their stomach muscles have had a good workout? As in, they ache? Haha. For the last two days if I use them (as you do) just generally, it feels like I've done a workout! (Clearly I haven't 😂). My boobs are really sore now too, I didn't have this with my first pregnancy. Near my right hip is aching a bit today too, my body must be preparing itself 😂

I get the hip aches in bed every night, so painful! @MamaSJ15

@MamaSJ15 I had terrible hip pain in my last pregnancy, woke up every hour to turn over 🙃

Had my booking appointment today. It was straight forward as it was mostly prefilled due to my last pregnancy ( have 20 months old DD). Under consultant led care again due to having an induction in a previous pregnancy because of pre-eclampsia and because I have haemochromatosis.

My "12 week" scan isn't until January 10th when I'll be 15 weeks! The midwife is going to see what she can do to get me in earlier. Going for a private scan before Xmas though as I can't wait that long lol.

@Rutennotou I’m in a similar position with my scan, it’s on Jan 5th when I’ll be 14weeks, the wait is killing me 😣 Really want to know if there’s just one in there!

Oh.. isn't it very important to do measurements at 12 weeks?

I'm consultant led too due to higher blood pressure (I was with my first pregnancy and still am quite slim).

My 12w scan booked on 28th December, will be 13w as per scan and 12w as per last period. I think I got pregnant as ovulation happened a week before it was supposed to be. Well.. destiny 🤭 we were planning to enjoy our past 40s... won't happen 😊

Almost fainted from shock at my scan today, after an empty sack last time I actually have 2 at once!!!

Yep, absolutely dog tired the last couple of days, moving round at a snails pace. I just don't know how I'll cope with a toddler and newborn!!
