Anyone struggling with nausea yet? It's hit me like a truck this weekend, I've barely left the sofa as lying down is the only thing that helps. I honestly don't know how I'm going to cope at work tomorrow!

Hi I have had sickness from 4 weeks. That was my first symptoms. Irn Bru sipped has really helped me. Ice cream. I’ve been given cyclizine but it doesn’t really work. Small meals often helps too. I also don’t eat past 6pm as if I do, I’m awake all night being sick. My morning sickness is worst from midnight to 12 noon. Hope this is helpful.

Nadinya · 20/11/2022 19:07

@LoisLane22 I've been feeling it. Not as extreme as some of the post here luckily but since the last couple days I've definetly had to run to the bathroom more then I have in the last 2 years.

@Coffeeforlife Really overwhelming. Couldn't stop my nervous-giggles as I was lying there. Really makes the ultrasound a bit awkward. Feeling so grateful but also out of my league if that makes sense. We've started looking for a bigger house, currently living in a 2 bed so we're hoping to be able to move before the babies arrive.

@Nadinya wow amazing news!

FirsttimemummrsJ · 20/11/2022 21:00

Hi all
Jumping on very nervously. Tested positive Tuesday. Got 2-3 weeks on Clear Blue. Did another test this morning to get a bolder line on test. Due date is saying 23rd July.
I feel like every time I go to the loo I'm waiting to see something. I passed a tiny bit of blood last night but it had stringy/gummy like mucus with it and was pink in colour. So I'm really paranoid something's gone wrong.
No nausea yet just sore boobs, insomnia, fatigue, night sweats, cramps and frequent urination.
Might buy some more CB tests. I feel like you have to wait ages for anything to be confirmed. & I'm so impatient...I'm also a huge over thinker.
Glad places like this exist.

@Nadinya that's amazing news!!

@FirsttimemummrsJ congrats! We're all a bit impatient haha. If all you've had is a bit of pinky CM then I would say it's nothing to worry about. I'd only start to worry if you get more blood that's bright red or bad cramping.
I've got an early scan booked for 2 weeks today (will be 7+6) and it still feels too far away!

Will you get your results tomorrow?
I know it's really frustrating not having any answers.

Shannon88 · 20/11/2022 21:29

@s14a no il only be getting bloods done again toMoro so be Tuesday before I get results. I just don’t understand if my levels are that low why my tests are still quite dark or not getting lighter

Hello ladies. Can I join, please? I found out yesterday that I'm pregnant with my first, and due to many calculators, I am due somewhere between 22-26 July. I haven't talked to GP or midwife yet, I will give them a ring today, because I have no idea what happens next?! Wishing you lots of health during this time 😍

MamaSJ15 · 21/11/2022 13:09

Hello @xogossipgirlxo how are you doing? Congratulations!! How far along do you think you are at the moment?
I've only spoken to the local midwives office who said I'd get a phonecall around week 8 so there's probably no rush!

Thank you🥰 I am very good, I had no clue I’m pregnant, but my husband told me to take the test, because I was 3 days late. I thought I had period cramps and sore breasts, like I usually do😬 I was putting hot water bottle on my lower belly and took ibuprofen twice.

According to online calculators, I am somwhere between 5+1 to 5+4 weeks (although I’m not sure, because I ovulated on 1st of November🤔) How many weeks are you? ☺️

MamaSJ15 · 21/11/2022 15:17

@xogossipgirlxo aw lovely little surprise then 😊 it's hard to know how far along you are at this point isn't it. NHS usually says to go from the first day of your last period for a rough calculation. I am 6 weeks today 😊

It really is 😊We've been TTC, but I wasn't expecting it will happen to us so fast, hence I confused period with pregnancy symptoms. I took the test to prove my husband that I'm not pregnant, but it became positive after 20 seconds 😂Now I have hundreds of thoughts running through my head at once, I am excited, happy, scared, and I am feeling like someone just put my life on 5th gear. So many things to think of.

KatY9876 · 21/11/2022 16:34

Hello everyone

I am 7 weeks 3 days today, due 7th July. I had mc march 2021. Due to fertility issues it has been quite a journey to get here. We were actually booked for ivf this month. My wee miracle. The only symptoms are tender breasts, tiredness and wee aches in sides and pelvic area. Supper anxious as don’t know if no other symptoms is normal.

Mulner88 · 21/11/2022 17:37

@KatY9876 Congrats on your pregnancy ☺️
I'm due July also but at the end/beginning of Aug. Try not to worry about symptoms. My friend had literally zero symptoms, no sickness or anything and she was panicking about that, but had a healthy baby in the end ☺️

Nadinya · 21/11/2022 17:57

@KatY9876 congratulations!
As for symptoms, the only thing I'm experiencing is tiredness and the occasional bit of nausea and I found out last saturday that I'm expecting twins with perfect heartbeats.

BusinessMum22 · 21/11/2022 19:20

Hello

I’m 31 with 12&10 with my ex husband. Iv been with my partner for 5 years and today we got BFP.

We both dont know how we feel or what we want I’m so confused and scared

MamaSJ15 · 21/11/2022 19:59

@xogossipgirlxo oh wow, how fast did it happen? I'm assuming this is your first?
When you've been trying for a while, you can no longer wait till after your period is due because you get too impatient 😂

Coffeeforlife · 21/11/2022 22:37

@MamaSJ15 ha ha ha that's so true about the testing.

Congrats @xogossipgirlxo what a lovely surprise!

I hope you're OK @BusinessMum22 It's a lot to take in if you weren't expecting it x

Yes, it’s my first🥰 It was my second cycle, so it came as quite a shock. Yes, I bet it’s the case. I was waiting for my period too, to move on to next cycle, but obviously it’s hard to compare with people who were TTC for a while.

@Coffeeforlife thank you😍

ThePodParent · 22/11/2022 11:36

Is anyone else playing the fun game of ‘wishing you weren’t so tired and nauseous all the time but then, when you have a morning/day of feeling ok, instead of enjoying it, wishing your symptoms would come back again to reassure you that you’re still pregnant’?

I completely forgot about this from my pregnancy with my daughter!

Writerscompanion · 22/11/2022 12:13

Yes absolutely! Felt better yesterday evening and got really anxious and then was so nauseous this morning and felt weirdly pleased. It's a rollercoaster!

MamaSJ15 · 22/11/2022 12:38

@xogossipgirlxo that's is quite quick, it's lovely that it's not taken a long time for you though. With my first it took 3 cycles, with this one it's been a bit of a journey, started TTC back in may/June 2021, had a chemical in early September. Took a break from TTC for a couple of months and started again from about Feb 2022, had an early loss in June and now pregnant 😊 ❤️ everyone's journey is different but we're all headed the same direction 😊 how are you feeling?

MamaSJ15 · 22/11/2022 12:40

@ThePodParent 😂 this is probably the case for a lot of people but I'm enjoying the 'not many symptoms' while it lasts. I'm tired but I've also been battling with a cold and sinus infection for the last two weeks. Hoping the nausea stays away, I didn't have it too badly when pregnant with my DD so hopeful 🤞
