Hey everyone, just checking in, it feels like those first few weeks are such a drag, as you wait for the first trimester to be over so you can be on the 'safe' side!
I've been trying not to think too much about it and just get on with my days as I wait for my next midwife appointment.
@Hjudge56 These aren't accurate no, they're semi-accurate, but don't rely on them. I also had a 2-3, when I should have been a 3, and I've had a scan with a heartbeat last week, so don't worry!
@Rutennotou Hang in there! Fresh ginger with a bit of lemon seem to help (but maybe it's just placebo?), and nibbling on a few plain crackers should help :) Aside from that, do you have any other symptoms? I feel like my breast have doubled in size to be honest
@MamaSJ15 Are you feeling any better from your cold? You've been having it for a little while now, hope you get better soon!
Congrats @xogossipgirlxo! What a lovely surprise.I am in a similar situation, I've been diagnosed with PCOS so always figured it would be harder for me (I've had really irregular cycles in the past, I'm talking skipping 3 months in a row). But I've been taking inositol supplements and boost my fat intake as I'm on the lower end of the BMI scale, and it happened with in the first cycle, which I couldn't believe!
Does anyone know how likely it is to have a silent miscarriage after having seen a hearbeat on an ultrasound? I've always been terrified of blighted ovum, as you don't know when it happens, but last week friday I had my first scan, which put me at 5+5 (I thought I was at 7!), and we managed to see a tiny heartbeat. How much are the chances of a silent miscarriage once a heartbeat has been seen?
Sending love and support to everyone!
