I can’t see one yet so just starting a due July 2023!

I’ve had bfp on first response and digital clear blue this week and keen to get chatting to others 🥰

@squirrelnutkins1 sorry you’re in a similar position and you’ve summed it up perfectly - optimism while protecting your heart.

@ThePodParent I think I’ll book an eight or 10 week scan, too - it’s just such a long wait to 12 weeks! I’m sorry you’ve had a similar experience 🤍 Love your cautious optimism though, I’m there with you ☺️ My symptoms with my first pregnancy (MMC) and second pregnancy (DD) were the same and so far I have none of them this pregnancy so no idea what to think! Still early though so I guess they could appear yet.

Hi @marlibs3 aw congratulations on your lovely news!!
The midwife appointments seem soo far away, there’s so little support in these first few weeks and my head is in constant overdrive overthinking every tiny detail!

I’ve booked a private scan for 2nd Dec so not too long to wait, but I’m so nervous. My pain in my left side is constant, it hasn’t gone away at all since testing positive and I’m so worried about it :( I’ve tried googling what it could be but that caused a major freak out too 😩
What is the Facebook group called please?
Just wishing everyone on here so much love over these next few weeks 🥰 x

Congratulations everyone who has just joined the thread or found out! These early weeks are tough aren't they, I'm willing 12 weeks to come!

The Facebook group is at

www.facebook.com/groups/662719028737305/?ref=share

It's called Waterlilies because they are a July birth flower. It's private and there's no description so no chance of anyone finding out by mistake if notifications pop up. Everyone is very welcome x

heartbroken22 · 20/11/2022 00:02

I'm bang on 7 weeks today and I've had my first puking session after fighting off the nausea for so long. Anyone else in a similar situation honestly feel for you. I'm not looking forward to any appointments I just want it to hurry up and get baby out. I wish it was that easy 😂 I've decided this will be my last pregnancy. I'm not putting my body through another pregnancy after this one fingers crossed.

I don’t want to jinx it yet and will join the group after my scan if that’s ok. Thank you for setting it up.

Hi everyone!

just looking for a bit of reassurance (as we do on here)!!

I’ve been having random twinges and mild cramps on and off all day the past couple days. I’m 5+2. No blood or unusual discharge but is this normal for this early? Thanks!

Totally normal. Everything is growing and expanding in there

candycrush789 · 20/11/2022 09:03

I'm having my 2nd lot of hcg taken today. My 1st 48hrs ago was 6522, I've read it takes longer to double once you get past 6000. I've phoned up the hospital and explained this and she said she's never heard of it. I'm just worried because I'm over 6000 it won't increase as such as they will class my pregnancy as non viable because of it 😞😞 has anyone got any experience??

Hope your all well ladies xx

Thelongwayround · 20/11/2022 09:24

@candycrush789 they’re not going to end your pregnancy based on the hcg increase figures. Also the person who will interpret the results will be very familiar with how hcg operates. I know it’s hard (I’ve had two losses) but please try to trust the process. You’re not doing yourself any good going down google rabbit holes and analysing every single test line.

heartbroken22 · 20/11/2022 09:27

You guys are really brave. After experiencing losses I don't want any early scans or anything it will trigger my anxiety more. I'm just going to let whatever happen happen. A pregnancy after losses is so hard because your brain worries about everything. Good luck to those having scans etc.

heartbroken22 · 20/11/2022 09:34

@Hjudge56 yeah it's normal it worries me too but it's normal. Your body is just making room for baby to grow.

Losti121623 · 20/11/2022 09:51

@heartbroken22 I feel for you, it’s rotten isn’t it 😞 my nausea has been terrible the past few days I’m contemplating going to the docs Monday for cyclizine as I know for me it’s going to get worse (my sickness is always worse around 10weeks). Funny how our memories block out how horrific we feel in these early throws of pregnancy until we’re experiencing it again! Me & DH have agreed this is our last too- sending you lots of love & hope you get some relief soon! Xx

@Hjudge56 I’ve had very similar mild cramps and twinges over the past few weeks & with other pregnancies in the early stages, I think it’s just everything beginning to stretch & accommodate a little! Xx

Theirmumxx · 20/11/2022 10:56

My pregnancy has been pretty much symptomless so far except for sore boobs and a bit of cramping so I was happy to get my 3+ this morning! I’m 5w3d 🫶🏻💛 xx

Anyone struggling with nausea yet? It's hit me like a truck this weekend, I've barely left the sofa as lying down is the only thing that helps. I honestly don't know how I'm going to cope at work tomorrow!

Skyblue22 · 20/11/2022 15:31

I've heard the travel sickness bands from Boots are quite good. I say this as I bought them for actual travel sickness a while ago and they had loads of good reviews online from people finding they helped with nausea in pregnancy.

Really feeling for you all who are struggling and hope you get some relief from it xxx

LoisLane22 · 20/11/2022 15:53

Oh thanks for the tip, I'll give them a try. It feels exactly like travel sickness (which I suffer from terribly) so maybe they will help!

candycrush789 · 20/11/2022 16:20

Hi ladies, hcg levels come back at 12087 which she said is more then 80% rise! I'm booked in for a scan on 29th November, by my dates I'll be 6+6 but not sure if I'll be moved forward or not! Not out of the woods yet but it's all positive signs!🥰🥰 hope your all well xx

Coffeeforlife · 20/11/2022 17:05

@LoisLane22 I feel awful. 8 weeks tomorrow and the last three have been such a slog. I'm presenting to 80 people tomorrow, fortunately only for ten mins but how I'm going to get through it I have no idea

Coffeeforlife · 20/11/2022 17:05

Great news @candycrush789 that must be such a relief!

candycrush789 · 20/11/2022 17:25

@Coffeeforlife yes definitely! Still not out of the woods as of yet but I do have a good feeling about this baby 🤗🤗

Mulner88 · 20/11/2022 17:30

Hi, I would also like to join!

I just got my BFP last night. When I calculated the due date on NHS website, it says July 31st, so could be August either!

I'm very nervous as I had a MC in March at 7weeks and then I had nothing but BFN's since then, so was surprised to get a positive this month.

Trying to stay positive and will just go with the flow (easier said than done 🙈)

Wishing you all the luck xx

MamaSJ15 · 20/11/2022 17:37

@candycrush789 that's amazing news! Bet you feel so much better! ❤️

Nadinya · 20/11/2022 17:45

I've had my first ultrasound yesterday at 7+6 and to my massive surprise it's twins!
Like twins, its unbelievable. Partner and I have been trying for 4 years now and now we are getting two!

Their both measuring slightly ahead at 8+4 and 8+2 with lovely beating hearts. Not gonna lie I'm terrified now even more for the future but oh so excited!

heartbroken22 · 20/11/2022 18:09

@LoisLane22 I've got bad nausea. Irn bru is a life saver and so are mentos chewing gum the blue bottle.

@Losti121623 thank you. I know I was bad at 8 weeks last time. I have no energy to do anything. Do you know you can get cyclizine over the counter if you can't speak to your doctor tomorrow. I don't really want to take anything because it made me feel super hungover last time and I just couldn't cope. Thank you so much for giving me comfort and support xx

heartbroken22 · 20/11/2022 18:11

Congrats to everyone with their good news btw!
