My levels have come back as 6522, she said it's a high number. Does anyone know what it's supposed to be? I'm 5+1 xx

That's really good. I know the clear blue 3+ level is 2000ish so it's so good for 5 +1

thelma57 · 18/11/2022 15:04

Hi ladies, could anyone who’s had spotting so far let me know what it was like please? I went to the loo at work and wiped and it was pink and watery, same again for the last couple of hours, some mild cramps, one wipe was slightly darker. I’m so upset, I want to call the EPU but I’m scared of bad news.

I did a test this morning and it was a really dark dye stealer. My head is all over the place 😭

candycrush789 · 18/11/2022 15:47

@s14a but if I got my 3+ Tuesday (day after I got my 2-3) does it mean it's doubled enough by 60 or 80%? Sorry not good with numbers xx

I would say so.

It's every 48-72 hours so say it was 2000 on Tuesday you would expect 4000 by Thursday and then you're already on 6000 and still have another 24 hours to get to 8000.

Perfect numbers

@candycrush789

I'm really anxious. I've just called my private scan clinic to ask if I can bring my scan forward to 6 weeks.
I know it might not tell me yes or no but it'll get the ball rolling with it.

I start a new job on the 5th December as well which is causing extra stress incase it does all go wrong.

polkadotdasies88 · 18/11/2022 16:17

@thelma57 I've had spotting since last week. Yellowy / occasionally pink, only when I wipe. It has absolutely terrified me so I can fully understand. I had a scan at EPU on Monday (I'm 7w tomorrow) and there was a heartbeat, the consultant told me it just happens for some people. I'd be lying if I said I still wasn't feeling extremely anxious though.
I'd recommend giving your local EPU a ring as I'm sure they'll get you in ❤️

Shannon88 · 18/11/2022 16:36

I’ve had my beta done and came back at 34 and I’m 14dp5dt . I know I’m out now 😢 x

Oh no. I'm really sorry to hear that.
Are they repeating in 48 hours?

Shannon88 · 18/11/2022 17:06

@s14a they didn’t say just the doctor wants me to come in on Monday. But I know by then it’ll be basically gone and my period will likely be here

candycrush789 · 18/11/2022 17:52

@s14a are you bleeding or in pain? To be honest I've read alot online that cb digis aren't really reliable. Try take another test if you can but a fr maybe! Aslong as there's no blood you should be fine, and sometimes blood doesn't always mean the end! I hope your okay lovely just think positive although I know its soooo bloody hard. Could you get your levels checked? X

cams88 · 18/11/2022 18:28

@Writerscompanion congratulations and welcome! I don’t think they do bloods for hcg as standard as pregnancy tests are so accurate these days, I never had it checked during my first pregnancy. I remember feeling really weird as you just have to trust the test and no one actually confirms it until your 12 week scan, I had a really irrational fear that I was imagining it all until I had an early scan just to check!

Olegia · 18/11/2022 19:10

@thelma57 I've had exactly the same thing you described, felt equally as anxious, and the scan today showed me a teeny tiny heartbeat! The midwives said that light spotting is normal/common and doesn't mean there's anything wrong (unless you have pain, pain on one side, or the bleeding becomes heavier and red) 💖

Hope everyone is doing well!

s14a · 18/11/2022 19:31

@candycrush789 no bleeding or pain.
I asked epau to check my levels today and they said there was no indication and to stop doing tests so still in limbo

Thank you!! Yes definitely know the feeling that I could be imagining - 12 weeks seems like a long way off!

cateagle7 · 18/11/2022 19:39

Hey! Hope it's ok for me to join this. I'm pregnant unplanned but I think I am going to keep it and parent, but feel so unprepared and I am so clueless about everything! But I think I have always wanted to have kids young and I think part of me is excited about

candycrush789 · 18/11/2022 19:46

@s14a have you had experience with digitals before? Have you got anymore? Maybe try again with your fmu and see how you get on. I had a mmc, no bleeding no pain but my hcg was going up so I think either way unless you see a baby on the scan you can't be 100% certain. But I've got everything crossed for you. Maybe it could be the hook effect? Try diluting your urine with water to see if it changes xx

marlibs3 · 18/11/2022 22:35

Hi peachy! I'm due 22nd july so we're close! Second time mum but still super nervous cause a couple of friends had early losses with their second even though the first one came easy. I had the cramps on the left side while we were on holiday earlier in the week but they've gone now and I tested positive a couple of days ago so choosing to leave it alone for now...

I have my midwife app on 15th dec and a private scan on 10th dec because I just can't help myself 😅hoping it'll give us enough reassurance to tell some family over christmas - though my mum and sister know already!

Crossing fingers for every one! I just joined the fb group too :)

I'm a bit annoyed with myself this morning.

I didn't take a FRER yesterday because my lines are pretty much equal now.
But I took a one step which was darker.

I've taken a frer this morning and there is no difference in 48 hours although there is still a huge difference even between today and yesterday in the one step.

But now I'm panicking that all is not well :(

I did a test when I was nearly a week late and then another 2 days later. Please stop testing as it’s causing you to stress :)

I will be 8 weeks by the time I have my booking appointment (I’m 6 weeks 6 days). I’m not sure what to expect when I see the midwife for the first time. I wish I was being seen much sooner.

Hi all! Got my BFP today, am 4+2 and due on 26th July ☺️ I have a DD already (20months) and had a MMC before her so quite nervous but also trying reeeeeeally hard to not let anxiety take over this pregnancy like it did the last, it was not a great time for my mental health. Going to test again on Sunday to make sure the line is darker and then no more testing! Great to have a group to chat to ☺️

Welcome! I think there are a few of us in similar positions. I'm trying to be a bit optimistic whilst also trying to protect my heart.
Congrats :) x

ThePodParent · 19/11/2022 08:04

@SkyBlue20 Congratulations!

I also have a DD about the same age and have miscarried before, so very much in a similar position. This time my symptoms feel much more like when I was pregnant with DD (SO tired and pretty nauseous most of the day), rather than with MC (heartburn then nothing), so I’m allowing myself to be a tiny bit hopeful! Going to book a scan for 8 weeks, but I’m a bit scared of the same outcome as the last time that we had a private scan. Not fun!

I’m cautiously optimistic ☺️🤞🏼

BookishEm · 19/11/2022 08:30

@squirrelnutkins1 posted the link to this thread on a different thread j was on so thought I’d jump on if that’s ok! I’m due July 20th and have a 21 month toddler already! Don’t have much symptoms yet except tiredness but hope everyone is keeping well ❤️

No experience with digitals but I've decided I'm not impressed with them. did a one step again this morning (I've taken one every day since my bfp) and a frer (last one 48 hours ago) .

They are both significantly darker and I have a dye stealer on the FRER.

So regardless of what the words say my hcg is definitely going up and I'm going to hold onto that!

Carly2014 · 19/11/2022 11:43

Hi everyone hope you are all well. I have my first scan on Tuesday and I should be 8 weeks. I’ve been suffering from nausea 24/7 with the random dry heaves. I have also had really bad stomach acid that keeps me awake all night. I’ve found out eating before 6pm and fasting helps and I just wake up at 4am now sick/starving feeling which is much better than from 1am. I’ve also found that Irn Bru helps with the nausea, more so than the cyclizine given to me from the doctors! Other symptoms include rhinitis at night and sneezing a lot more than usual. My boobs aren’t any sorer than what they would normally be like on my period. Other than that things are going ok. I am super grateful that I do not have Hyperemesis as it runs in my family and it was always a fear if I got pregnant. But all my family members were hospitalised by 6 weeks with it and I’ve been ok. Although nauseated throughout the day, I’m only sick about 2-3 times which is manageable. I’m constantly hungry despite the simultaneous nausea which is so weird. And despite being so hungry, I gag while taking bites.
