Thanks @OtiMama. Luckily he napped again after and so did I! Happy Birthday to little man! Mine is 3 in a couple weeks and I'm just wondering how I will deal with his birthday bash. I'll probably be shattered!

My breastfeeding team was really poor and basically said your milk has gone now, on to formula. Luckily NCT and flying start had a great breastfeeding team who told me to persevere and stop formula and just cluster feed/pump nonstop if I can. I did and fed comfortably till 2 when I needed my sleep again. First few weeks were torture with undiagnosed tongue tie too. After the rocky start it was amazing.

@NotAdultingToday you must have been in for a shock with all the messages 🤣. I'm so bored waiting for this baby and not working I'm always checking to see any updates 😂.

I have an appointment on Monday where I'll be 38+6. They're every 2 weeks so my next will be 40+6. Does anybody know if they tend to do membrane sweeps on the day, or is this something that needs to be organised in advance? I don't really want to wait until almost 41 weeks to have one!

my consultant just called to discuss the ‘big baby’ situation. Long story short, I’m going to be having a c-section either as planned on 25th Nov or at 39 weeks. I’m meeting with her in 2 weeks at 37 weeks to discuss the plan.

Hubby and i have spent about an hour discussing names (with some helpful and unhelpful input from ds) both our top 3 has changed and both of our brains hurt as we cant decide 🤦🏼‍♀️
Though i know for sure he will not be called coconut like ds keeps saying 😂

@Eryr22 has appt midwife at home today, seeing consultant next week 39 then midwife has arranged for membrane sweep for following week. Mine said the earliest she can give is 40 weeks to the date without doctors input. So I’m going to ask consultant for one whilst I’m there see what they say 🫣 worth a try I guess. Having 3 other older children I want the full half term week to recover if poss rather than wait for sweep to kick in and not be fully recovered by the time the business of getting kids ready for school etc again

@OtiMama @greenerfingers & @Bramblecrumble22 thanks for the reassuring responses RE:bfeeding. Honestly just going in with positive thoughts and will try get as much help if things don't work out.

Got my iron infusion and wasn't so bad. Expected loads of side effects but I feel slightly rundown. Hopefully begin to feel better soon.
Was also looking into names and my hearts settled on one. DH OTOH is a proper procrastinator and is probably waiting for baby's head to crown 🙄

every time I get up they click, if I turn over in bed I can hear my bones grinding it’s so bloody painful.

is anyone else having any issues with doing an insane amount of toilet trips a day?

Last night I had to get up and down 3 times before I could sleep because I kept needing to pee and then throughout the night another 3 times. Every time I stand up, including right after I pee I want to go again! And I’ve not got a urine infection 🤔

Yes @sarahj878 that's my life right now. Every couple hours through the night off I trot to the bathroom with my creaking hips @Domibeva. Last night I finally used my ball and it felt like I had split my pelvis open so don't think I'll be doing that again till I hit 37 weeks. It's not worth the pelvic girdle pain although I did feel baby headbutt me so guessing it was helping its positioning.

I am 35 weeks tomorrow and can finally now say I feel like the end is drawing near. It's felt so so drawn out till this point. The next two weeks I can look forward to my last project at work, my boy's birthday, prep for my procedure, and hopefully by then I'll be 37 weeks and back to being impatient again 😁

I'm getting some pelvis pain now. a saitic type pain from too much walking and pain in my public symphisis from Getting up from the floor, squats, rolling over in bed. Thinking positivity it's the joint opening up so they'll be more room for baby...

I've had crippling sciatica for the last two days. Came on so suddenly on Thursday Eve. Typical as that was my last day at work. I've barely been able to take ten steps without crying. It's eased a little this morning but I'm scared to do anything in case it comes back. So frustrating as dh is at a meeting this morning and there's so much to do in this house. Still need to get crib and car seat down from the loft and air baby mattresses and stuff. Also constantly thinking of ways to make my cervix "favourable" for my sweep this week. Last time involved lots and lots of sex but my hip is just too painful. It's on the bottom of my list this time. Need this baby out!

What are people doing about having a place for baby to sleep in the living room?

With my son, he hated the Moses basket and ended up either just sleeping on me or in his pram. This time, we haven’t bought anything as hoping to just wing it in the park again. But…. I have this little niggle at the back of my mind that I need to get this baby a proper sleeping area. Am i just feeling hormonal?

We are just using the pram for the baby to sleep downstairs!

@Kathno4 thank you! I think my hospital is the same 😞 I'll see if they can squeeze me in at 40 weeks. Oh that's definitely worth being cheeky over!!

@CurlyNo2 we're also just using the pram for downstairs

I have a Moses basket for downstairs because it was bought for us and I already had a next to me for beside my bed, otherwise I would have just used the pram downstairs. We shall see what baby prefers!

Back pain is my main problem, haven’t had too much pelvic pain thank goodness, just if I lift my legs a certain way. It is getting a lot harder to get myself up out of bed, lots of manoeuvres required so I don’t wreck myself 😅
