Had a whole couple of hours of tightening which are borderline painful! Fingers crossed this is it ladies!

Knowing my luck it will be nothing and it will go away but my brain needed to share what was happening with someone other than my husband 🤣🤣

@roobearbaby things seem to be happening over here too. Lost my mucus plug and been having intense period-like cramps every 4-6 mins for the last few hours.
Fingers crossed this is it for both of us! Good luck ❤️

Baby boy (Jack) was born early on 2nd November 😊 he's perfect. He's teeny tiny though! The birth was a bit dramatic - I got induced at 37+2 then ended up having an EMCS due to collapsing in the delivery room. Mentally I'm struggling a bit with the postnatal hormone crash & worried about PND. Hope everyone else is doing well & coping with the changes. Congratulations on your little ones 😊

Oh I'm so sorry for your loss @TFMinx, that must be really difficult for you & your family. Take care of yourself too, that's a lot to deal with at the moment when your emotions are already high. {hugs} Your bubs will be here soon, one way or another, can't stay in there forever! I find there's something very grounding and soothing about the natural course of babies doing what they do/coming when they're ready even in the midst of chaos (we've had some mega shite times these past months, my little baby K is a balm for the weary soul)

And @tigger2022! Congratulations! Welcome little Jack! 💙 I'm sorry that the birth was difficult, do you want to share about it here? I did have some mental processing to do after my caesar 10 days ago, even though it was planned & went well, it was still a confronting experience. Hope you're recovering okay.

@tigger2022 congratulations. I'm so sorry to hear you're having a hard time. It's not easy especially because you've probably not had enough time to process what happened. I hope you have enough support around you. Talk it out as much as possible. It's easy to remain in your head, try keep in company of others as much as possible. Xx

Wow I switch off for one day and miss so much 😅. I needed to turn my mind off from pregnancy for a day as this very very slow loss of mucus plug/egcm is driving me insane.

Congratulations @Eryr22, @tigger2022 and @wibblewobbleball. Sorry to hear you're having a difficult time of it @Eryr22, please make sure your partner/family are aware and try to keep you as uplifted as possible and help you as much as they can.

So sorry to hear of your loss @TFMinx and so late in pregnancy too, similar happened to my cousin and it was such a stressful time. Sending you hugs  and here if you need to talk. Please take it as easy as you can and one day at a time. I hope baby makes an appearance soon xx

See some new soon**. Not sure why it posted so early, perhaps my hand hit it.

I'm so tired these days I could nap everyday which is soo unlike me. I've been losing tiny bits of my mucus plus since Monday and had an increase in clear discharge. I'm interested to see if it means anything at all or not. I'm also becoming more breathless now toward the end rather than less (even though baby is meant to drop and the opposite happen).

Hope things right themselves @CurlyNo2 and really hoping the hospital hurry up and schedule you in. Keep badgering them.

I was right they were definitely contractions! Waters went with a big pop and a gush just after 10pm. Bit of meconium though 😕 currently on labour ward being monitored

@Somethingabitdifferent22 i feel you that is so hard! My first was constipated and colicky and that was so hard! Its so true they are so cute you dont mind anything

@tigger2022 congratulations, im sorry your labour ended up the way it did. The only advice i have is take it day by day focus on you and baby (easier said then done). And no blaming yourself about anything you are doing amazingly. Its ok to ask for help it doesnt change how great you are. I have pnd with my first and i swear the labour had a lot to do with it

TMI ALERT

So I've woken up this morning with cramps and the need to go to the loo. Tried to go and on wiping had what I think is bloody show (definitely did not come from bottom) I've continued to have some cramps. Currently bouncing on my gym ball. Could this finally be it? I'm 40+4 now. DH wants to call MIL to take care of DS, but I've said it's too early yet (even though they're two hours away)

That's how mine started, and the bloody show got heavier but it was just my waters breaking as well, good luck!!!

It's finally happening I've got a bed on the induction ward 🎉 got to be there for 2pm, really hope it doesn't take too long for the induction to work 🤞🏼

I feel like I've just had my bloody show reading that @TFMinx ! So happy for you. Hope this is and things kick off now. The definitely not from the bottom made me chuckle. I have to keep making sure of that myself!

Glad you're settling in @NotAdultingToday. Crazy how we were all waiting for babies a couple weeks ago and now so many of the group have theirs. It kills me im at the end of the month 😂.

I caved and got an epidural. Feeling so much more comfortable now. 5cm at last check. Hopefully we will have a baby by the end of the day 😊😊
