Its times like these im glad my husband could sleep through a bomb going off, the bathroom
is off of our bedroom and im up and down like a yoyo going for a wee and blowing my nose and laying here playing on my phone hes soundo 😂.
Though i know when babies here ill be back to wanting to smoother him with a pillow as he just wont wake up

Urgh been awake since 3:30, think because I woke for a wee, was thirsty and then couldn’t stop thinking about the fact it’s my last working day today. Typically now my alarm has gone off I am shattered 😩

I caved and got a can from the fridge, had two mouthfuls then put it back in the fridge. I was wide awake from 1:30-4:15 before going back to bed. Had some pains whilst I was awake, so I think that was keeping me up thinking it could be today and I haven't packed my bag yet (38+2, DS arrived at 38+4) so I've just got DH to get the small hold-all out of the loft before he goes to work.

Officially last day of work today. My last project and I cannot wait. Sitting up and standing all day yesterday really hurt my pelvis and hips last night. Got today to get through and then hopefully relax on the weekend.

Good luck on your last days today greener and Volcanic hopefully you both not too tired from your disturbed night!

I honestly don't know. The pain is constant, but isn't too bad and hasn't changed at all since the early hours. Might give Day Assessment a call, but don't want to waste anyone's time

Deffo give them a call @TFMinx they won’t think they’re wasting their time.

Hope pain has either turned productive or gone away @TFMinx! Where do you feel pain?

I'm sleeping okay, so so tired! Dh said my belly looks like it's about to pop, and it feels that way, baby's head, feet & placenta all right up against my ribs. Counting down the days now, 6 more sleeps!

Thanks @CurlyNo2 and @ALittleBitofVitriol the pain seems to have gone now. It was really low in my abdomen and a sharpish pain, but constant, not coming and going. Hopefully just a false alarm, but if it returns I'll definitely give them a call

Called day assessment as it's come back and they're seeing me later this afternoon

Will do. I feel a bit stupid though and should know what it is as I've had a baby before. Completely irrational I know and it's better to be seen than not, but I can't shake the feeling of embarrassment

It's a shame people are made to feel that way and totally irrational like you said @TFMinx. Every baby has a different journey. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks @ALittleBitofVitriol. Just a few more hours to go 😁. Absolutely shattered but hopefully can rest on the weekend. I have a physically taxing job and my back is gone.

First day of maternity leave. It seems my body hasn't got the "you can relax a bit more" memo I have not been able to sit down all day, just so restless!!!

Baby movements today have been absolutely bonkers and actually really painful! Feel like he is trying to claw his way out of my vagina 🤣🤣.

Midwife was absolutely lovely and reassuring. Turns out it's just braxton hicks, but she's taking a urine sample regardless

Thats good news! I was having terrible pain and pressure down below which the hospital said were classic uti symptoms in pregnancy. Turned out I had a uti and the antibiotics helped a lot! Don’t feel embarrassed about not knowing the signs despite already having a baby (I’m the same!). I reckon our bodies give us false memories in order for us to reproduce again. If we remembered everything from the first time around, no one like ever have kids again.

@roobearbaby i know what you mean. I can’t sit still or stay home to rest. My hip nearly gave way before when I was out at the shops and I know I have to take it easy but I just can’t - not yet anyway!

My babies movements have become really large all of a sudden, if that makes sense. Only last week they still felt quite dainty but now it feels like an actual full size baby is in there!!

@TFMinx glad all went ok with the midwife.

I had that my first week off, i just had to do everything straight away. When ds goes back to school i plan to take it alot easier as i have done most of what i want to do

My baby is definitely now trying to kick her way out! Massive movements, unlike before.

You'd think I'd know the difference in uti or not as I've had so many of them this pregnancy 🫠

Had my 36 week scan today, baby's growth seems to have slowed down a bit over last few scans so i have been given another growth scan in 2 weeks time to check and most likely will be induced if things stay the same. Really wanted things to go naturally😒 but at this point i'm fed up and am soooo sore so it won't be the worst thing. My hips and my back are aching!! I hope time flys by i just wanna be holding my baby already

This was exactly me, had my growth scan at 36weeks and then I was induced 2 weeks later due to reduced movements as well as the growth, gave birth yesterday and started the induction on Tuesday, any questions I'm more than welcome to answer any x

@amyrose223 congrats on your baby😊😊 did you have another scan after the 36 wk one before they offered the induction? and how much did your baby end up weighing at birth if you don't mind me asking?

Glad you got some peace of mind @TFMinx. This is really strange but if I don't pee for a while or hold it in, I have a lot of pressure and pain that evening. It goes away within a few hours/night.

I second PPs about baby movements different now, sometimes I feel sick from the rolls and other times I feel tiny hands sooo down low it's incredible.

Finally finished today hurrah!! My body aches so much, it'll probably take a couple days to recover with how severe my spd has got but hi ho at least I can relax now. I have a big family event next weekend which I have tonnes to do for and then finally finally I can just sit and moan about being in pain and waiting for the baby to come 😁 and nothing else except mind my two year old.

Has anyone else been having coffee? I've had loads this pregnancy and didn't think anything of it but now I worry about a low birth weight due to it 😬😳
