I have my section booked for the 7th, be jjst 38 weeks (due to the previa) how many weeks will you be @Arwen7?

Hope all goes ok tomorrow @arianasky I'm sure baby will be perfect xx

@sunnyd67 I feel like mine spins too depsite being head down. He's sooooo active and always in weird shapes and spaces!

@arianasky I'm not sleeping at all either! I was hoping I would til baby was here haha..

@Arwen7 eeeek exciting! I'm getting really nervous even though I had a c section last time (emergency though) x

@flowergarden16 a planned one is so so different, much more positive and less scary and less risky too... nobody is rushing and you are not coming from potentially hours of labouring... I'm sure you will find it much better 💕 I can't wait although a bit nervous about the pain afterwards hope it's not too bad.

I am not sleeping either, I think I'm getting around 4/5 hours of broken sleep through the night

Thanks @Arwen7 because I still have a low placenta I've been told I have a higher chance of a transfusion which is scaring me, but hoping it will be calm and at least they will be prepared. Thanks for advice x

@flowergarden16 yes yours will have that added risk but as you say they will be very well prepared and as soon as (if) they see any extra blood loss they will take measures! Also a consultant will do yours so hopefully everything will be fine x

Exactly @Arwen7 thank you. He just said if I have blood loss I will get a transfusion and go in to high dependency for 24 hours but didn't seem too worried 🙏🏻🙏🏻

@flowergarden16 aww thank you I hope so he definitely feels bigger 😂🙈 if he hasn't grown much though I think they'll be looking at induction so I'm hoping he has 🤞🏻

@Arwen7 same 😂 at least when baby is here we'll be waking for a purpose and not just insomnia/heartburn etc

Scan went well he's gone from 4lb9 two weeks ago to 6lb1 today 🎉 and has grown from 10th centile to 50th so consultant is happy and I feel relieved. Next scan is three weeks today 39 weeks so now I know I'm not getting induced before then I can get my head around the last bits I need to sort for his arrival 💙

@arianasky that's great he's bigger than max was already! Enjoy getting your last bits ready and try and get some sleep! 😂🙈 I'm doing ok thankyou 💜 xx

@Skl2021 oh my gosh is he 😂 my partner was 10lb13 when he was born so now that's the worry he'll be little chunk 🙈 thank you 😊

@Arwen7 unfortunately I'm high risk as I've got epilepsy so I'm consultant led ( epilepsy is controlled but still ) and I've got group b strep which I'm a bit nervous about but I think it's just IV antibiotics for that, but I would have liked a water birth but I knew it wouldn't happen from the start so not too bothered xx

@arianasky oh my I hope he doesn't get to that size 🙊🤣 not much longer to go now!! X

@arianasky ah yes I think you mentioned in the past! Group B strep is only IV antibiotics as you say so that should be ok :)

@Arwen7 thank you I thought so, how are you feeling? Are you on maternity yet?

@arianasky Whoop, well done! Not long to go now.

All fine here - little baby Nina feeding well, back over birth weight and looking a lot less scrawny (had very skinny legs at birth!)

@arianasky still working from home but it's not very busy so it's fine. Next week is my last. Are you on leave now?
I'm fine thank you 💕 Suffering with really bad back pain and hardly sleeping but otherwise me and baby are fine. Really looking forward to my section now, to meet baby and to finally be able to focus on her and not my inlaws (now on 5th week of hosting and well fed up with all the extra work 😫)

@barneymcgroo aww I'm glad to hear that 💕

@Arwen7 wow fair play to you for being so accommodating, yes I started annual leave last week and go on maternity next Tuesday so I've finished now. Ah no back pain is the worst I hope it sees up a bit for you 💕
