1st and 2nd trimester worst for weight gain I reckon anyway - I can't eat much now cos my tummy is all squished and everything gives me heartburn.

EllieG · 29/01/2008 13:54

ronshar · 29/01/2008 14:42

Welcome back Basil. I am only a part time member of this thread as I so far I havent got to stay long. Hopefully this time will be different!

DonDons · 29/01/2008 18:22

welcome basilbrush.

ellie - I know how you feel but somehow I always find room for chocolate. Weighing scales scaring me to death at the mo and prego book saying to expect another stone to go on in the next 11 weeks.... can't believe how big I am going to get - already feel ginormous.......I know what you are saying makecakes re losing it after (esp given all the difficulties we have all had getting here) but my god I hate exercise!

hope it's good news ILTS

ronshar · 29/01/2008 18:23

ILTS How was the scan. Good news I hope.

makecakesnotwar · 30/01/2008 08:03

I've siad it before and I'll say it again- welcome BB!!!

Off to the doctor today- she wants to get me a physio referral for my SPD, so will let you know how I get on.

Any word from ILTS?

Or NH, or MrsMc, Or the other Grand Dames?????

basilbrush · 30/01/2008 09:23

Morning everyone, am feeling very sorry for self as have nasty ear infection and can't turn head more than 2 degrees without falling over...am staying off work (and DS has gone to nursery thank goodness!) Trying not to feel too guilty, haven't missed a single day yet so far in this pregnancy, dutifully chucking up discretely before teaching classes etc...

ronshar and ellie how nice to see you here, am sending you big hugs how far along are you? any news of torres?

makecakes I love your name I too love making cakes, my speciality is baked chocolate cheese cake....mmmmmm

(speaking of cakes, if anyone has a genius idea of how to make a steam train shaped cake, any ideas v. welcome, DS is 2 in a fortnight and need inspiration. Sorry, random moment of delirium there)

Am so looking forward to seeing MrsMc's birth announcement

EllieG · 30/01/2008 09:33

I'm 29 weeks now nearly! Still nervous but almost just about beleiving will actually have a baby.

Don't know where torres is actually - I was wondering that the other day. Hmm...must do some digging.

Swiss roll for steam train I reckon - good basic shape to add bits to.

hunofmonsters · 30/01/2008 09:51

Any news from ILTS?

Birth story from MrsMc?

Welcome Basil Hope your stay is a long one

EllieG · 30/01/2008 10:01

Julezboo · 30/01/2008 11:16

Hello lovely ladies

And cograts!

Im julie 26 and mum to two boys 5 and almost 1! I have suffered 5mc's and to my utter shock found out on Monday I am pregnant again.
I have a condition called Factor V Leiden which means I have to have baby aspirin and fragmin injections everyday whilst pregnant.

Got my first scan tomorrow. I am still in shock and I am totally petrified!

thanku justjules!!!!! I just wish i had an answer, find it weird that i havd had my dd, 6 (different partner) then had 2 miscarriages wen she was about 2 or 3, one was a straight forward mc, the other a missed mc, went for 12 week scan and was told that baby had died at week 8, had d+c, then had my ds, 2 march last year, and now another missed mc nearly 2 weeks ago, also baby had died at week 8 . xxxx

iliketosleep · 30/01/2008 22:28
