I've just found out I'm expecting my second baby the first week of June 2023 - anyone else? Early days, so being cautious, but can't help feeling excited!

@Jess1292x I see what you mean from the scan photo but honestly don’t know if it is or not. What did the sonographer say? Have you got another scan is or is that it now until the 12w one?

I have an early scan booked for 1 week today! I’ll be 6+1 based off when I think I ovulated or 7 weeks based from last ‘period’ so it’ll be interesting to see what they date me as. I’m hoping to see a heartbeat but I know it’s very early and might not be so lucky this time.

RE cramps, I’ve been feeling lots of cramping too, plus had some back ache! With my son, I was diagnosed with sciatica which caused back pain. Hopefully, it’s just everything stretching and making room for the baby and isn’t going to get any worse!

@B1993 Good luck with your scan next week! My EPU had me in today at 5+3 as I’ve been spotting on and off since 9DPO and started to get a little pain. They’ve confirmed it’s not ectopic which is great, only a sac and yolk visible on the scan, no fetal pole or heartbeat. Typically because they’ve confirmed it’s not ectopic that’s my early scan freebie used up, I was really hoping to wait until 6+ weeks so I’d have more chance of seeing the heartbeat but I just got too nervous after all the bleeding and they wanted to see me.

@B1993 how do you work out how far along you are from when you ovulated? My scan is tomorrow at 6 weeks from LMP however I think I might be a couple of days earlier than that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just had my scan after being brought in for spotting/pains. Everything in the right place and saw a little flicker of a heartbeat - measuring 6 weeks exactly. Hopefully this is my little rainbow baby 🌈

They managed to do the scan abdominally as well despite me not having a full bladder

@Fredthespider its good you've been seen! Are you going to book a price scan in a week or two or are you just waiting now until the 12 week dating scan.

@NalaNana Unless you've been tracking your cycle from the start with BBT, you wouldn't be able to confirm ovulation (the exception is if it's medicated cycle et.)

@B1993 from OPKs and BBT I ovulated on the 12 September, how would I work out how far along I actually am? According to LMP I'm 6 weeks tomorrow x

@NalaNana that’s the same day as me! I’m 5+3 today, so you would be 5+4 tomorrow. If you can push back the scan I would recommend it. I saw very little on an internal scan today.

@B1993 if I can resist I’ll just wait until 12 weeks. I think it depends on how things go with the bleeding between now and then and how anxious I feel.

I feel in a constant state of mild panic. Its horrible. 😌

@Fredthespider ah glad you got your scan! I don't want to push it back in case it's ectopic! I had an ectopic in June so it's very fresh still. I'll get a private scan to look for a heartbeat in a few weeks if I get that far 💕

@Okapi99 me too. Horrible isn't it. I wish I was oblivious to all the potential things that could happen, and just enjoy the journey. Perhaps it will get better the further we get along

Anyone else have little symptoms? I've only really got a little pain when I bend and that's it. Like a fullness in uterus area. Maybe a bit loss of appetite too but that's it.

I don't have too many either. Just my boobs are tender if I prod them (so I prod them 100 times a day just to check they still hurt 😄)

@NalaNana Ovulation would be counted as week 2 so you'll need to count forward from there. There's a due date calculator on pampers that calculates from conception, which you might find useful. Here's the link: www.pampers.co.uk/pregnancy/due-date-calculator

I’m the same @BellaTheDarkOverlord I’m 5+4 today and I’ve got hardly any symptoms. I had a lot of dizziness last week. Some fatigue this week 😴and general stretching/cramping feeling but no real sickness or boob soreness. Sometimes I forget I’m pregnant. Which is good because it keeps the anxious thoughts at bay. Until I wake up at 4am googling my worries 🫠

@BellaTheDarkOverlord honestly I have so many more symptoms this time than I did with my little guy. I had a full feeling in my uterus and that was about it. This time my boobs hurt, I've got on and off nausea and headache, and I'm weeing all the dang time!

Every pregnancy is different. That's what I keep telling myself. 😂

I’m 3+4 with my fourth baby… more nervous now than ever!! Petrified of everything 🤦🏻‍♀️

Also just curious for those of you who have booked private ultrasounds, how much do they cost these days in your area? They seem to have gone up in price (like everything else💸💸💸) since I was pregnant 4 years ago.

@BellaTheDarkOverlord I've got very few symptoms too. A little bit of a heaviness and cramping but its early days.

@CaliGirl47 glad I'm not the only one wide awake in the night worrying! I woke at 5am this morning and my mind was racing!

@ExcitedandNervousC1 yes the harmony test tests the chromosomes for any defects and because they do that you can also see if it’s XX or XY!

@CaliGirl47 I keep forgetting too! I've gone a bit dizzy this evening now which I had with my first so hoping a good sign. Private scan around here around £60ish. I think I'll hold out until 12 weeks unless I start bleeding x

@zinrepus Mines different from last mostly too. I bled until 7 weeks with my last. Luckily this time nothing at all yet.

@Quokka7 Weird isn't it? I suppose it might help us forget we're pregnant and reduce anxiety.
