I've just found out I'm expecting my second baby the first week of June 2023 - anyone else? Early days, so being cautious, but can't help feeling excited!

@Kiara427 pretty normal as long as the cramps aren't sharp, severe or one sided x

Okay thank you! Yeah there not sharp or one sided! They feel like period cramps but a little bit worse. And it’s all along my lower belly. Xx

Sooooo glad I’ve found my people. Constipation- check. Insomnia- check and waking up at stupid o’clock- check!

I’m also soooo bloated in the afternoon/evening I look like I’m 6 months gone already

i woke up at 5am really fancying McDonald’s fries it was on my mind non stop so we got some for lunch and they were horrible 🤣
I’m finding sipping Coke is helping with my hangover type feelings (just to add i’m drinking lots of water too not just coke)
Dp and I popped into a supermarket this evening and had a browse at baby clothes, it’s been 10 years since I last had a baby, oh you forget how small they are!
Anyway we both really liked this cute unisex outfit and decided to just get it.
I know it’s still very early days but I done the same with my other children, it was nice to get something exciting rather than walking around trying to see what food I thought wouldn’t make me feel sick 🤣

constipation is an issue for me at the moment I’m so bloated!

also if anyone has any ideas on how I can get rid of my dry cough that would be fab, I’ve had it for 2 weeks now.

How far along are you? I did a ultra early digital test clearblue I did two and both pregnant but I don’t think I even a week yet! Xx

Ive had an intermittent pain in my right ovary for over a week, today I decided to call my EPU who called me in and did an internal scan. Turns out it’s a corpus luteum cyst! Never heard of them. Anyway, could see a sac but nothing in it. Apparently nothing to worry about and having scoured mn it seems fairly common to not see anything at this stage (5+6). They did blood test for HCG and going back on Sunday to test again. I had 2-3 weeks on a cb last Sat and 3+ this evening so hoping everything progressing normally. Just wanted to put this here in case anyone else experienced a similar pain. Trying to stay relaxed and think happy thoughts!

Do you mean a week post ovulation? Pregnancy is tracked from the first day of your last period so a week after ovulation is around 3 weeks pregnant (assuming you ovulate around CD14, which isn't the case a lot of the time). That's how your midwife/GP etc. calculate it. Then when you have your first scan, they'll adjust your dates based of the baby's measurements and that will differ depending on when you ovulated and implanted etc.

I've been a bit worried about ectopic too recently as yesterday I had some pretty one sided pain on my right ovary. That with the bright red bleeding that I had last week = ectopic accepting to Dr. Google! 😬 I know you shouldn't trust goggle, but it has made me a bit anxious 😥

I hope everyone else is doing well? And is anyone still testing for line progression, or am I the only POAS addict left?! 😂

so basically on Thursday I did one of them clearblue didital ultra early tests I did two of them and they both said pregnant
then I thought il try a weeks one but it said not pregnant? Is that because I’m really early into the pregnancy I haven’t been pregnant a Week yet and that’s why it’s not showing up yet? But showing up on the early ones? Sorry for all of this I’m just nervous as I suffer with PCOS all I want is for this to go well and have a healthy baby xxx

@Kiara427 Ah, that’s ok 😊 The NHS have an online due date calculator which works everything out for you.

Pregnancy tests have different sensitivities. The early ones are usually 10mui whereas the CB with weeks are 25mui so won’t detect a pregnancy as quickly as the sensitive ones due to the higher level of HCG they require. I wouldn’t worry about it, but you could always try a normal test if you do want to confirm. First Response Early Result are the most sensitive test and are the best for testing early.

I'm glad it's not just me looking very pregnant despite being 4-5 weeks! Even in the mornings I'm bloated but it was so bad last night- have no idea how I'm going to keep it hidden!! This was last night!

@Quokka7 I've got two FRERs left but I've not used them because I already had a dye strealer a few days ago with a short hold. I'm just starting to get cheap test dye stealers now so waiting for a true one on those! I'm hoping to stop testing completely after Wednesday when I take my CB digital and hopefully get a 3+. We'll see though because I bought a 50 pack of strip tests this cycle so have soooo many left still 😂

When do you think a 3+ would show?

I think I'm 5 weeks and 2 days now.

And back to the conversation of early scans, I wasn't going to get one, but now I think I will. I'm just so excited. And I did with my other two pregnancies so I feel it's only fair!

My back is aching a little today, but to be fair that could be from walking or anything. Just nice to have a pregnancy symptom in a way 😄😄

@miamiibiza @B1993 how many DPO were you to get the dye stealers? I'm 15dpo today.

I got my bfp a week ago at 9 dpo, I’ve been testing since to check progression and have been progressing well. I got a 2-3 weeks on a CB yesterday. I’m thinking I’m 4+4 now. Due date 6th June.

called the midwife on Monday and already have my booking appointment this Friday over the phone.

have also booked a private viability scan at 6 weeks to check everything in the right place.

symptom wise I am hungry all the time and when I don’t eat I feel sick! Also exhausted, sleeping 11 hours a night with naps in between! 🤭

looking forward to going along the journey with everyone!

@Quokka7 probably about 19DPO to get the dye stealer.

I was thinking 7-8 weeks for the early scan. Are you tempted to get one?

Hey guys! Hope you're all doing well, I'm 5w 1 day and still have 2-3 showing on clear blue I don't think it's too accurate tbh.

Been having such bad back pain which I'm guessing is from all the carrying of my toddler 🤣

Also nausea is getting so much worse but othe than that it's been not too bad yet!

@miamiibiza The dates go from ovulation so 3+ should be three plus weeks after ovulation.

I'm definitely doing an early scan, too! I did with my son and it was incredible to see the heartbeat so early! I think the dates me at 6+2 then so I'll hope to go when I'm 6-7 weeks. At the latest 8 weeks, if I can't get in earlier.

@Quokka7 This is my 14DPO test with evening urine and a 1.5-2hr hold. It's definitely not as obvious as @miamiibiza's but I was impressed to say it wasn't concentrated and I was only 14DPO! I've just started to get an almost dye stealer with strip tests, which usually take a bit longer than the FRERs. I'll post this mornings (I'm 17DPO).

I will say I got my first postive at 8DPO so must have implanted on the earlier side. I suppose it'd be longer if you implanted later.

@LavenderWillow What makes you think things aren't progressing as they should? 2-3 weeks on the CB means 4-5 weeks pregnant, so that sounds right on track!

@fifi113 I read that they're something like 96% accurate when compared to the dating scans!! I think it will depend on when you ovulated and then implanted in that cycle. I'm technically over 5 weeks now (going from m/c bleeding) but know im more like 4+3 going from ovulation as I didn't ovulate until CD21. I'm going by ovulation as it's more accurate so wouldn't expect to see my 3+ until Wednesday.
