@AliceinSlumberland you're absolutely right there, I hate having colds so I'm feeling miserable with that. How are you getting on now?

Brunette1652 · 27/08/2022 21:06

@Gilm0reGirl I’m six weeks too so I’m the exact same, some days my boobs are in agony other days I’m sick as a dog but today I’ve tried to eat more regularly and I don’t feel as bad but I’m still wrecked, but even Google says that symptoms will come and go so please enjoy while they are there too 🙌🏻

AliceinSlumberland · 27/08/2022 21:12

@Gilm0reGirl I’m feeling a lot better now thank you, the pain has pretty much gone. A week to go until my scan and I’m half counting down the days and half dreading it. I’m just hoping for a definite answer, and not a ‘wait and see’.

Brunette1652 · 27/08/2022 21:12

@chasingtherainbow1 yes I’ve experienced this and from what I’ve read it’s normal as your cervix is extremely sensitive during first trimester, mine only happened once right and since I’ve got morning sickness etc so please try not to worry

Gilm0reGirl · 27/08/2022 21:17

@Brunette1652 ah we twinning then on the weeks, my boobs have been like this, it's been my only constant, they are twice the size!

@AliceinSlumberland 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for a weeks time. I know what you mean about half wishing for it to be here and half dreading it, we had a scan at 7+1 with our daughter and it was lovely to see the little heart beat. This time we are having it at 8+2 and I'm regretting waiting that extra week already 😂

DBS94 · 28/08/2022 07:49

Morning

Have any of you ladies been prescribed anything from the doctor for morning sickness? I've been given prochlorperazine which the doctor assured me is safe "as long as it's not taken over a long period of time" but the leaflet says to avoid when pregnant. I know these companies do that to cover themselves but just wondering if anyone has experience of it?

Wouldloveanother · 28/08/2022 08:07

I’ve not started any meds yet but am making an appointment on Tuesday as soon as GP is open again. I would trust them @DBS94 - pregnancy sickness is a fairly common thing that they will see. I understand your hesitation though.

Leanne053 · 28/08/2022 08:14

Well I feel rubbish this morning! Headache, stuffy nose and a bit sicky! Can't wait to go to work 😂

PuddingBear · 28/08/2022 08:24

@DBS94 I had Prochlorperazine in my first pregnancy with no issues x

Heath2330 · 28/08/2022 08:31

Hi ladies hope you don’t mind me joining I’m 5w 5days today but if background I’m 31 have A Ds who is 12 and dd who is 10 in September me and my husband have been trying for 3 years never had positive test during that time until 2 weeks ago. I don’t know whether it’s because it’s been so long or if this it’s because I’m older or because it’s my first pregnancy after a csection but all feels very different this time don’t remember the cramps being like this with my other 2 lol wouldn’t say painful just womb feels heavy and tingly all the time had some nausea and been sick once and very sore boobs very tired but otherwise feeling pretty well did have a water infection last week so feeling a bit better than I did then. We have booked and early scan for the 6th when I will be 7 weeks I’ve never had an early scan before and reading some of the threads in worried about it can anyone offer any reassurance is 7 weeks a little to early?

SavedByGraceAlone · 28/08/2022 08:45

@chchasingtherainbow1 same happened to me, with very tiny spotting of pink. Hope it's nothing serious as has only been once right after sex.

Brunette1652 · 28/08/2022 09:28

All symptoms naturally come and go 😊

Lapin387 · 28/08/2022 09:48

Anyone else on baby 3? I’m sooo bloated, way more than the last two times. I’m wondering if it’s just bloat, or if an 8 week sized uterus is just managing to show much more this time, despite still being down in my pelvis. I feel very self conscious and unattractive.

I have moments where it’s unbearable, other moments it’s there but manageable. I don’t half feel rough though. I told DH im not ever going through this again.

Only baby 2 for me but I’m the same. It’s gone down a little the last few days I think just because I’m vomiting so much and struggling to eat. I think it’s mainly water retention.

catc7 · 28/08/2022 10:32

@Missgemini I have cramping too for about a week now and rang the midwife’s at my hospital and they said probably nothing but go to EPU tomorrow! Let me know how it goes with you!

Missgemini · 28/08/2022 10:32

@Heath2330 due date twins! I have very similar symptoms to you: tiredness, sore nipples, occasional nausea. I’ve had tummy aches the whole time, so I’m now on my way to the hospital for a scan in EPAU. They were happy to see me despite no bleeding.

Missgemini · 28/08/2022 10:33

@catc7 im on my way. Will do x

CinderellaFant · 28/08/2022 10:36

Found you all! So I've been awol the past two weeks, after I had my early scan at EPU which showed I was really behind what I should be and they couldn't see much and was told to come back in two weeks. A few days after that I started bleeding so thought it was definitely game over, as I've had three losses before.

Well today was my rescan at EPU and there is a 8 week gestation baby with a strong heartbeat!! In absolute shock, I was expecting to go up today and organise a D&C!

Over the moon.

ancienthouse · 28/08/2022 10:49

@CinderellaFant that is amazing news! And so reassuring for lots of ladies no doubt who've been worried about their early scans. I'm so happy for you!
