Hellooo xx

SprinGarden · 13/08/2022 11:54

Joining from last one... My pregnancy symptoms have almost gone... Got mild boob pain but nothing much else. Glad I ve got a scan on monday.

simplythequest · 13/08/2022 12:07

Wow, a new thread already!

OttilieKnackered · 13/08/2022 12:43

@SprinGarden mine haven’t gone but I’m worried my boobs are getting less swollen/painful.

Its so hard not to over analyse and worry.

NiceToChat88 · 13/08/2022 12:50

@SprinGarden My symptoms have calmed down a bit too but not sure if that's because I'm relaxing a bit more. When I first found out at 3 weeks I had lots of tugging and cramping in lower belly and was shattered. I've taken another clear blue saying test today and it has increased to 3+ (tested on Wednesday and was 2-3) so things must be heading in the right direction. I've read that many people's symptoms calm down a bit and then can come back with a vengeance at 6+ weeks so I wouldn't worry too much x

Emeal123 · 13/08/2022 12:52

@SprinGarden mine have really slowed down too! Getting some cramping every so often which worries me but I think is normal, breast pain has gone, still very bloated though!

Emeal123 · 13/08/2022 12:54

@NiceToChat88 I read something similar that said often there are very little symptoms before week 6 but after this can rapidly increase x

simplythequest · 13/08/2022 13:00

@SprinGarden I had more symptoms before my BFP! I'm 5 weeks today, and did a digital this morning and it came up as 3+, which I was really surprised with - there's so much out there that says they aren't reliable, but I'm guessing it has some reliability in that my hcg has risen since last week 😊 I'd rather the symptoms hadn't disappeared, though, as they were kind of reassuring!

belephant · 13/08/2022 13:16

Hi again all! Anyone else not really got many symptoms yet? All I have are cramps. I'm sure my boobs were a lot more tender by this point with my first pregnancy 🤔

Wouldloveanother · 13/08/2022 13:25

I don’t have loads - a faint nausea if I don’t eat for a few hours and my sense of smell has definitely heightened. But that’s it - I’m nowhere close to actually throwing up. I definitely wasn’t vomiting at this point in my last pregnancy, I think it started at 6 or 7 weeks.

Tropicana1 · 13/08/2022 13:26

Hi all, joining if that's ok!
Got my bfp and a clearblue weeks indicator 1-2 weeks on Tuesday at 3+3! 4 weeks today, EDD 22nd April ☺️
Been testing obsessively daily with frer's for line progression but going to try to just use my clear blue weeks to see weekly progression (plus use up my millions of cheapies 🤣)
This will be our second. Sorry to read about all the people who are having a bit of a rough ride with the first trimester, keeping my fingers crossed for positive outcomes for everyone still in limbo!

SprinGarden · 13/08/2022 13:31

Thank you all for your replies😁. Not having symptoms puts doubts in head, even though pregnancy test is still positive. It s reassuring to hear I m not the only one. x

BetweenTwoLungs · 13/08/2022 14:54

Hi all,
Hoping I can join please, if that’s okay? I’m 4weeks 1day today with my first ever positive, I’m 30 and we’ve been trying for our 1st baby for over a year. It’s been a bit of a journey due to PCOS and me having a 245 day cycle at one point 😳 so I’m just so grateful to be here as it got to a point where I assumed I’d never see a positive.

Just reading your posts about symptoms, I’ve had fewer symptoms than I normally do before a period! Only thing I’ve had really is a get tireder at night before I normally do and feel a bit wiped out from about 8pm.

Have people booked an early scan? I’ve booked one for 3rd September when I’ll be 7 weeks and a couple of days. Just really, really hoping to see a heartbeat then and that everything is okay. I found out with a faint line at 3weeks 3 days so it’s going to feel like a very long wait!

SkeletonSkins · 13/08/2022 14:55

Oh and I’ve also been obsessively testing to check the line is still there, I need to stop 😂 Some of you guys are a fair bit further ahead, did you just stop testing one day? Or maybe you never got into this habit!

My due date is 21st April :)

Biscuitsplease · 13/08/2022 15:09

Hello, I’ve been following this thread but not yet said anything!
I went for an early scan today, all okay showed a heartbeat and dated as 6+5. However they did see a cyst near one of my ovaries measuring 8cm. The sonographer didn’t seem too concerned and just said to tell midwife and they’ll look again at 12 week scan. 8cm seems massive to me and I wondered if anyone else has had this before?

Tropicana1 · 13/08/2022 15:23

Tested positive for covid today 😭 does anyone know if it affects early pregnancy? 4 weeks along

faithtrustandpixiedust · 13/08/2022 15:27

Hi just checking in from last thread 😊

LilyDaniels · 13/08/2022 15:38

Please can I join ☺️
I'm 6 weeks pregnant tomorrow.
All I've had is sore boobs which come and go! Like some of you, I worry when they don't feel as sore! I do feel super tired today but maybe that's the weather.
I can't wait for my first scan and to be able to tell everyone. It's my partner's birthday next weekend and we're having a big BBQ with family and friends at his parents house (as ours is a pain to park!). I'm so paranoid about everyone questioning me not drinking, it's making me dread it and I feel bad!

ancienthouse · 13/08/2022 15:43

@BetweenTwoLungs I have PCOS too, I've been trying for a second for 18 months. I'm taking myoinositol, extra methylfolate and B6 to try to support it but no idea if it's making a difference!

@Tropicana1 I had covid from 3 weeks to 5 weeks and so far it's OK I think.

My sore boobs come and go, last night they were excruciating after the soreness almost disappeared all day. Last time the sickness really kicked in around 6 and a bit weeks so I'm just waiting to get to that point.

Wouldloveanother · 13/08/2022 15:43

Congrats Lily! Welcome aboard. Could you buy some 0% drinks and ‘fool’ people that way..? Then if they offer a drink say ‘oh no it’s ok thanks I’ve got one here’ etc. That’s what I did at my office Christmas party with DD 😂

NiceToChat88 · 13/08/2022 15:44

Are any of you ladies taking pregnancy multivitamins? I'm taking 400mg active folate, Vit D, Omega 3 and magnesium - does this sound enough? X

SkeletonSkins · 13/08/2022 15:46

@ancienthouse yes I’m on myoinositol and I was on metformin to help me conceive so I’m going to carry on taking that. I wonder if I should take extra folic acid, the one I have is mixed in with the myoinositol I take. It’s all just a massive worry isn’t it!

@LilyDaniels oh it’s so hard not to tell people isn’t it! I agree with taking something or my friend said she bought a normal bottle and tipped it out, swapping in alcohol free. An expensive option I guess!

LilyDaniels · 13/08/2022 16:05

@SkeletonSkins @Wouldloveanother
I've just seen they do Gordans alcohol free pink gin! I think I may pour this into a normal bottle and hope for the best 🤣
