@Monkeyface7 it definitely is, but mainly from bloating! I look pregnant already, but I'm hoping it evens out as the bloat goes down and the bump grows

My spotting has finally stopped. Nothing for a couple of days and I got my dye stealer today. Fingers crossed!

I hope everyone who feels lousy feels better soon. This heat has been too much for me. 🥵

Hey guys, checking in and moving over from the last thread - thanks @41andtryingforfirst !

My nausea has settled UP today, been feeling queesy on and off as soon as my stomach is empty between snacks/meals and then tonight I nodded off as I was cuddling DD to sleep and woke up completely nauseas and now in bed. With DD it was worse in evenings too. I wasn't this sick this early in my last pregnancy, hoping a good sign... X

I'm going to be 5w 3 days tomorrow and going to a wedding I'm known to like a drink and im not driving either,not sure how I'm going to get away with not drinking 😂

@Badassbreastfeeder85 I just had drinks that could look like alcoholic ones like lemonade and lime

@Badassbreastfeeder85 do you like fizzy elderflower? If so have that in a champagne flute 😊

Just done a CB week ind got a 3+ 😀.. I m 6weeks today.
@Badassbreastfeeder85 last party I had started off with non alcoholic mojitos then just topped my glass with water and ice..
@Wouldloveanother my work bosses already know as I v gone through ivf however the rest of my colleagues will be on a need to know bases till confirmation on the 12 week scan.

Currently at EPU waiting for my scan- terrified 😩

@Monkeyface7 you don't usually get a proper bump until after the first trimester when the uterus moves up from behind the public bone. But first trimester bloating is definitely a thing! I didn't show with my first pregnancy until about 20 weeks.

@KennAdams I'm glad your spotting has stopped and yay for a dye stealer. I got one yesterday too but I'm still checking every time I wipe.

About telling work, last time I told them pretty much straight away as I worked in a lab and needed a risk assessment. This time I work in an office and mostly at home so I'll be holding off telling them as long as possible.

I've already had to tell work, there's too many workplace risks to pregnancy in my job that it's nearly impossible to stay safe and secret!

So not good news but not bad news- I'm kind of in limbo. Done an internal scan first and could see a small sac, but nothing inside, said it's too early, I'm more like 5 weeks rather than 6+3. I'm pretty sure of my dates though as I was tracking ovulation. She then done an abdominal scan which was much better and could see inside the sac and she said there's definitely something growing there, however can't confirm everything is ok as couldn't see fetal pole or anything yet.

Seems like history is repeating itself, this is exactly how my miscarriage started 😕

@CinderellaFant oh limbo is so rubbish 😔 I hope it's just that your dates are a bit behind. I know when I've tracked ovulation sometimes I've had all the signs (mucus, temp) but it was just my body gearing up for ovulation and failing, then I actually ovulated a week or so later.

how annoying @CinderellaFant ☹️ are you ok? Have you got another scan date?

well, I think the sickness has started for me - had a strong wave this morning and retched a few times but didn’t throw up. I think it’ll start in the next day or two.

also absolutely shattered I just want to lie on the sofa and watch TV all day.

Thanks @ancienthouse & @Wouldloveanother I'm ok. I have an appointment for another scan in two weeks. I'm not feeling very hopeful but you never know. I'm preparing for the worst and then maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised in two weeks!

@CinderellaFant oh I’m sorry you didn’t get any answers, are they going to rescan you in a week or so? Have absolutely everything crossed for you.

@SprinGarden congrats on your 3+ that’s fabulous!

I might tell my manager after my 7 week scan - he will benefit from the early notice as he likes to think ahead and will need to reallocate all my cases. He’ll be very happy for me but it’ll be very tricky work wise as they won’t be able to cover me, I guess that’s not my problem though!

Thanks for the reassurance re. discharge, I’ve been worrying about bleeding too but it hasn’t be that 😂

@CinderellaFant ah just seen you’ve said in two weeks, got absolutely everything crossed for you. Why does TTC involve so much waiting.

@CinderellaFant hope you're okay that must be very stressful 😩 hopefully just a slightly younger pregnancy, everything crossed for you you see a little bean with a heartbeat in 2 weeks! ❤️

@Wouldloveanother I think we are in similar boat, I'm also EXHAUSTED today and feeling a bit queesy if I let my tummy get empty. I have a feeling the sickness will be evening sickness again like it was with DD as was pretty bad last night (no actual vomiting yet but felt grim!) . Dd having an early nap so going to watch some TV with a cuppa and biscuit now...

Not sure about when to tell work myself... Might do so this week just my manager so she's aware esp if this sickness kicks in!

@41andtryingforfirst I was going to say, maybe at your scan tomorrow query why you are only on 200mg not 400mg twice a day of progesterone esp if you are bleeding. It might be you need more! Best of luck for it x
