@YoungK yes! Constant sickness in the mornings and evenings, and a really physical non! I’m struggling! My first though so no children to juggle at home! It’s so difficult isn’t it, I do understand! I also feel incredibly lucky after ttc for so long! I really hope it doesn’t last the whole pregnancy!!🤞🏻

Been sick 3 times already this morning and it's not even 7am. So tired of this now. 😔

Akmc · 26/07/2022 10:59

@Bunny2006 🤣oh no, your poor bladder!! At least you got plenty of face time with the baby so you know it’s really really real! So are you due 1st Feb/31st January? I moved back a day, 4th Feb, but my previous two have been the full two weeks late so I’ll likely be climbing the walls until the very bitter end! 🫣

Bunny2006 · 26/07/2022 13:06

@Akmc I was actually really worried about my bladder haha, as I have a pre existing bladder condition and a UTI right now so I was stressing about being absolutely bursting and painful, but it wasn't bad at all at the time! The sonographer kept apologising but I said it's fine, however when I got home that night it was quite painful but fine today! Yeah I'm happy we got more time, initially she flew through it like there's an arm, other arm, hand, leg etc and we just got really quick flashes of bits I couldn't keep up! But then for the measurement we was there a while and could see baby stretching out and kicking etc. Ooh I was 4th Feb, but yeah now 1st Feb!

Akmc · 26/07/2022 17:52

@Bunny2006 and in the end knowing it’s really real is worth all the discomfort! Did you end up with a choice of dozens of pics to print off? 🤣I had a senior lady do the scan so I was actually in the room <5 mins, with one photo that looks anything like a baby. Thank god it’s not my first or I’d have been totally nonplussed! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Ugh re the UTI, hope it clears up as quick as poss!

Bella9992 · 26/07/2022 21:20

Can someone send me the fb group link please? EDD 20th Feb 😁

Bunny2006 · 27/07/2022 01:36

@Akmc Aw yeah I was surprised how quick people's scans were, like straight in and out. There was no introductions or questions how I'd been finding the pregnancy it was straight on the bed and screen on straight away flying through it, until we had to come back haha. My sister had a baby at that hospital last September and got 2 scan pics, and on the website it says 2 scan pics are free at the 12 week but when I asked about photos the sonographer said she'll bring it out to me with my notes, you only get one and she chooses.

RBSK1 · 27/07/2022 06:32

Anyone else experiencing/experienced severe anxiety the day before a scan?!

HallieHufflepuff · 27/07/2022 06:36

I've seen a few 'digital download pregnancy announcements' on etsy.
I was gonna purchase one of those and post on Facebook 😊

HallieHufflepuff · 27/07/2022 06:50

Wow, what's she like now?

HallieHufflepuff · 27/07/2022 06:52

RBSK1 · 24/07/2022 12:49

@BeeYellowMumma we went through this with my SIL.
At the end of the day, as understandable as you feel you need to be. You can't surprise your happiness, if people aren't elated about your news, that's a "them problem" not yours!

My SIL made a point of storming out when we announced DD1.

Wow, what's SIL like now?

RBSK1 · 27/07/2022 07:11

@HallieHufflepuff yeah she's fine now after spending 8 months calling DD1 "Her Baby". She doesn't see her often as "she's a difficult child", SIL is only young really so novelty has seemed to wear off. She seemed equally as upset when we told her about Number 2, despite now insisting she doesn't actually want a child anyway. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Babydance255 · 27/07/2022 07:21

Sadly we had a confirmed missed miscarriage on Saturday & I went in yesterday and had surgical management of the miscarriage🥺.. We are gutted but these things can't be helped sadly. Once we can start trying again we will. The hospital gave us a lovely memory box with little bits inside and we have put our scan photos in there with all the pregnancy tests I did. I hope everything goes well with you all ♥️ I'm just very grateful I have my little man at home to snuggle & a very doting husband ♥️ xxxx

Bunny2006 · 27/07/2022 09:14

@RBSK1 I was anxious before mine and sadly found it hard to be excited which is a shame. I also dreamt the night before I had a loss and had pains and I actually woke up with the same pains, but it was pain from my UTI with a full bladder! It was weird.

@Babydance255 I'm so sorry. Thinking of you and sounds like you are being well looked after by your family xx

GoT1904 · 27/07/2022 11:23

Thank you, I would love to join. I'm going to wait a couple of weeks until I've announced though, in case people can see that I'm in the group.

BritInNZ · 27/07/2022 20:06

@Babydance255 I'm so sorry, this is utterly my worst fear. I hope you're doing okay under the circumstances x

PeanutButterFalcon · 28/07/2022 12:49

@Babydance255 I am so sorry, I hope you are ok x

PeanutButterFalcon · 28/07/2022 12:51

Found out today I’m further along than I though (only by a week or so). Also a completely different scan experience than with DD however very positive

JS3990 · 28/07/2022 14:50

Hi there.
so I’m 11+4 DD 13th feb 🙂 with 4th baby, my youngest has just turned 9, so quite a big age gap 😂 well today I’ve had a constant cramp like pain in my pelvic area all day even after a warm bath and paracetamol. I had a scan at 8+3 that showed everything was perfect 😍. But I was just wondering if anybody else had had this? I don't remember any kind of cramping with my other 3 but I know it’s normal. I’m Just unsure of how long it should last in one episode before I give epau a call?

RBSK1 · 28/07/2022 15:26

So we had our scan. Further along that we first thought! The sonographer was lovely and so calming! Baby all nice and healthy! Can finally relax now. I might actually get some sleep tonight 😂

Peonies94 · 29/07/2022 08:40

@RBSK1 amazing! Congratulations! How many weeks are you? Can relax a little now! Will you be finding out the sex of the baby?x
