@arianasky thankyou 💙 always something to worry about 🙈 he's definitely a little monkey!! X

Hopingforarainbow27 · 15/07/2022 22:43

Hi girls. I know you all are so much further along than me but I've felt slight cramps in my back and tummy today and I keep going to the toilet every 5 mins to check 😫 that's how my mc started the last time! I'm feeling like I'm starting to panic

sunnyd67 · 15/07/2022 23:44

@Skl2021 I am glad he has passed the test, sorry you having been having an off time, I hope he gets back to his normal routine soon to give you some piece of mind.

@Hopingforarainbow27 cramps, backache can be normal, I am still having them. First 8/9 weeks after a positive test I had cramps nearly everyday.

barneymcgroo · 16/07/2022 05:59

@Skl2021 Oh poor you! I hope he does a bit more wriggling soon - it's so stressful when they don't. Take care - I found icy drinks helped prod them into action, and ds 1 always leapt out of his skin when there were sudden loud noises...

Skl2021 · 16/07/2022 08:39

@sunnyd67 thanks I'm stil so worried I don't know how he can pass the checks but still hardly move 🤦 wish he would go back to kicking me all the time. Feel like I will end up back there at this rate x

@barneymcgroo I hope he does too it's so worrying! Yes yesterday I tried cold drinks, fizzy drinks, orange juice, chocolate, laying down, walking round and I got nothing so I was in a major panic! One of them normal works! Hoping to get some movement today or I will be loosing my mind!! I am in work all day aswell so don't tend to feel him as much stood up all the time 🤦 xx

Skl2021 · 16/07/2022 08:40

@Hopingforarainbow27 hopefully everything is normal I know it's so hard not to worry. I still get cramps and backache at this stage! And yes Im still checking everytime I go to the toilet 😣 x

Srx1 · 16/07/2022 09:49

@Skl2021 I know how you feel but try not to worry, this week I had a couple of days where my baby was very quiet and I could hardly feel anything and then he went back to normal. Maybe it's just the position they go in xx

siobhanmt247 · 16/07/2022 09:59

Morning everyone. I don't know if they're liked but I'm feeling a bit anxious again this morning. I went swimming yesterday and then had a spin class and ended up with a bit of a dodgy tum. This morning my bump seems non existent. It's just my normal fat squishy tum. Does anyone else bump still change at 18 weeks? X

speake1 · 16/07/2022 13:32

Aww @Skl2021 that sounds so stressful, hope little man starting wriggling away a bit more for you today 🙏🏼 Xxz

Hopingforarainbow27 · 16/07/2022 17:20

Thanks @sunnyd67 @Skl2021 were the cramps different to the ones you had when you had miscarriages? Mine are very faint but I feel like I'm definitely not my normal self. Very warm as well. Have went totally into myself today I think I'm gearing myself up for loss again

Elspethelf · 16/07/2022 17:52

@Hopingforarainbow27 for me, miscarriage cramps felt the same as pregnancy cramps. Pregnancy cramps are very normal, it’s your uterus stretching to accommodate the growing baby. You have all my best wishes

Hopingforarainbow27 · 16/07/2022 17:55

Thanks @Elspethelf never had them at this stage before and always resulted in bleeding! I have my first scan on the 25th so hopefully no bleeding between now and then and everything is ok

Elspethelf · 16/07/2022 17:56

@Hopingforarainbow27 how far along are you?

Hopingforarainbow27 · 16/07/2022 17:58

@Elspethelf 6 weeks! My babies never seem to get past 9 weeks so it's quite an anxious time for me!

sunnyd67 · 16/07/2022 17:59

@Hopingforarainbow27 Yes, I have had four losses and in all of them I had cramping, same as in this pregnancy. When I had my second miscarriage I started bleeding spontaneously - and even then the cramps didn't differ to the ones I have had in this pregnancy. Even now at 24 weeks I get them now and again.

Hopingforarainbow27 · 16/07/2022 18:01

@sunnyd67 that's so reassuring thank you! Goodness what a rollercoaster we have to go through! I am praying this one stays with us this time!

Hopingforarainbow27 · 16/07/2022 18:02

@sunnyd67 may I ask did they ever find a reason for your losses? Did you do anything different this pregnancy?

Elspethelf · 16/07/2022 18:03

@Hopingforarainbow27 I can understand why you are anxious. I’m glad your scan is scheduled in a week.

sunnyd67 · 17/07/2022 02:43

@Hopingforarainbow27 No, they didn't. I went through numerous tests offered by Tommy's, hysteroscopy through my IVF clinic, every single test kept coming back clear. It was very frustrating. None of my losses have been the same - 1st was missed miscarriage, the baby didn't developed passed 5/6 week mark, found out at 9 weeks, 2nd I had IVF, saw a heartbeat at 6+6, started spotting the next day, went on for a couple of days and then started bleeding heavily - no cramps, it could go either way they said, found out at 9 weeks that baby stopped growing at 7+4, my personal feeling is that it was a progesterone issue, because I had to stop after transfer. 3rd was a chemical pregnancy following a frozen transfer. 4th was a natural conception, partial molar pregnancy. With this pregnancy I asked my clinic to put me on progesterone up to 12 weeks and then extended to 16 weeks by EPU, currently still having a pessary every other day following midwife's advice. This my not be everyone's cup of tea, but I personally was desperate to try everything, so I also saw a acupuncturist/herbalist, I was advice of few diet changes and given some herbs, after transfer I started to take them three times a day, and still do. And I think it is one of the reasons I am where I am today. I had heard great reviews from other ladies from the same IVF clinic regards to this acupuncturist, so decided to have a go myself.

Hopingforarainbow27 · 17/07/2022 10:56

@sunnyd67 that's interesting, I also was doing acupuncture last pregnancy and had been on herbs too for like two years but it was just so expensive I couldn't do it anymore. So glad you've got this far!

sunnyd67 · 17/07/2022 21:15

@Hopingforarainbow27 I was on pre Transfer herbs since May 2021, I fell pregnant naturally in June 2021 which ended in partial molar, after sorting myself out I resumed herbs from September 2021 and continued until February when I had my transfer and since then I have been on post transfer herbs and doing well. I only had couple of acupunture session as travelling to and from made it hard with work and other commitments. Maybe it's not the herbs that has made it work, but right now I'm not going to stop - just in case. I hope your scan goes well, not long to go! 🤞

sunnyd67 · 17/07/2022 21:15

@Skl2021 how are you doing? Is your baby still keeping you on your toes?
