Hi guys, haven’t been on here for the past couple of weeks but I’ve finally caught up 😊

I had my 20 week scan on the 23rd August and was all good (can’t say I didn’t have nerves though!) and we did a gender reveal too 😍

Im 22+3 now and going pram shopping with my mom, any advice on what to get or brands that are good? I’m a first time momma to be so literally have no clue whatsoever!

@Lizm1990 congratulations 💙 boys are definitely taking over this thread! I would say best advise is to go to pram shops and just try lots of different prams. I had ideas of what I wanted then went and tried them and hated them and got something I never would have picked. 🤦 Make sure u have a ideas in mind of what u want i.e small fold or fold with seat unit on , terrain wheels, and make sure u try and collapse or pick some up as I found alot to be really heavy! X

Hello, wondering if I could tentatively join? I'm about 4 weeks and have had a difficult journey so far with infertility and MMC. We have been trying to have a first child for 2.5yrs, had a miscarriage at 11 weeks in nov 2020.

Just a few days ago, totally unexpectedly and outside our infertility treatment protocol we got a positive test result. I'm probably about 4 weeks. I am absolutely scared stiff as I'm sure you can imagine and feel disbelieving. Just trying to hold out until 8 weeks to get a scan but my previous experience shows that can't offer any guarantees either. Just need to take it a day at a time, I'm pregnant today.

@IWillBeWaxingAnOwl welcome along - and congratulations on the bfp. Hope you're doing okay, and though it's a nerve wracking time, we've all been there and the wonderful support on here has really helped. X

@Shefliesonherownwings Hello, welcome along, and sincerest condolences for the loss of your DD. I can't imagine how hard that must be. What a lovely blessing to have your DS, and now a bfp. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

It's a hard journey isn't it but we've already had our first healthy baby from @Bridgey8 so keep the faith 🙏🏻

I'm almost 30 weeks and have two weeks to go until my scan to see how my placenta previa is doing. No bleeding yet just praying that continues and it doesn't turn in to acreta.

My back hurts so bad I can barley walk. 😢 I only hoovered and tidied downstairs and now laying in bad feeling sorry for myself.

I also went to triage last night due to reduced movements, the minute the midwife started to feel my belly, he was moving and showing all of his tricks, sticking his bum and legs out, rolling, hiccuping 😅

@sunnyd67 Always the way! Better to be sure though. I had a busy day last week and couldn't remember how much it'd been moving. My 2 yo woke me at 4, and I then spent ages worrying I hadn't been feeling it. And then it massively made up for it over the next day or so - SO much kicking!

I've got a growth scan on Monday - was measuring 35th percentile last time I went, having measured 50th about 6 weeks before. I think it's just a normal size for me (both boys born similar percentiles) but they're keen to do another one, so hey ho.

@sunnyd67 I'm really suffering with my back too 😩

@sunnyd67 yep when I went in for movement concerns, baby was practically kicking the monitor off by the end and I felt a bit like a pleb but the midwives have NEVER made me feel like a time waster and I am so thankful to that ♥️

@barneymcgroo that's the worst when you have been really busy moving about all day and you csnt remember if you have felt them like normal and it just makes you worry!!!

@Annny27 Mega busy day here yesterday, and my older 2 miraculously slept through. Otherwise I'm usually a fully paid up member of the pregnancy insomnia crew, though not entirely for my own reasons! DS2 keeps waking up at an ungodly hour, then I can't get back to sleep. So frustrating!

Hope everyone's doing okay? Can't believe I've got 4 weeks tomorrow - eek!

@barneymcgroo sleep is also an issue! I am awake for two/three hours nightly, usually 1am to 3/4am and then need to get up at 6am 😭

I'm almost 30 weeks now and for the last few days I am in such a mood! Didn't even feel this hormonal in the first trimester, although back then I was probably too tired to be angry 😅 poor DP. Also been obsessed with cleaning, wonder if it's the nesting instinct kicking in. Hope everyone is doing very well xx

@Arwen7 I'm 30 weeks now and mega grumpy! I don't know if it's the worry and stress about bleeding and the c section or just hormones!

I'm feel like I'm crawling towards my scan on the 28th and then just praying/hoping we don't get any big bleeds and I can get to at least 34 weeks before baby comes.

I am 33 weeks and also grumpy hahah! My poor work colleagues probs cant wait for me to finish hah!

Hi all, I’m 5 weeks today and DH and I have come down with the worst bug. DS caught it at the end of last week and kindly gave it to us. I feel awful and can only take paracetamol which isn’t doing much. Hoping I feel better soon as I’m pretty miserable at the moment. @flowergarden16 best of luck for the scan. Not sure if you’ve had a c section previously but I had one with DS and am happy to answer any questions. Not that I’m an expert or anything!

I'm 23 weeks today and I suddenly feel so anxious about making it to viability at 24 weeks and just have awful thoughts and worries that something could happen this week 😓

Thanks so much @Shefliesonherownwings I actually ended up having an emergency CS with my son but it's a bit more complicated and risky with previa so I'm scared :-(

@Sassy144 I totally relate to that and still feel the same at 30 weeks. One day at a time 🙏🏻

Had my growth scan today - still measuring roughly 30th percentile, so all well and good, and no more scans booked. My other two were similar sizes at birth, so not worried.
