Helloooo ladies. So lovely reading through and catching up on how everyone is doing ❤️

so sorry for those who have had covid and various bugs.. it doesn’t help the constant worry!

@arianasky love the name Myles 💙 beautiful name and not one I hear often either! Xx

@Skl2021 wow 😯 29 weeks!! What bottles have you gone for? Xx

We’ve been in triage this week as little
lady stopped moving so much and went very low down so I could barely feel a thing. I’ve also had this really weird feeling where there’s pressure then feels like air being pushed out my vagina?! What’s that about?! Xx

arianasky · 23/07/2022 12:39

@aesgriff thank you! 💙 is she moving around more now? How many weeks are you now?

Skl2021 · 23/07/2022 15:49

@aesgriff yes nearly 30 now 🙈 we have got mam bottles as I had them last time and found them good! We also visited triage last week as baby would not move! Had me in a right panic 🤦 I'm currently in a lot of pain under my right rib so might need to be seen again or ring doctor it's excruciating 😣. I don't know about air coming out the vagina tho that did make me giggle 🤣🙊 xx

Srx1 · 23/07/2022 16:20

Thank you everyone for pillow recommendations 🥰

@aesgriff I am 24 weeks but sometimes have a feeling like the baby is all the way down and is kicking in my cervix, very weird feeling! Might be similar to what you're experiencing 😆

aesgriff · 23/07/2022 17:31

@arianasky she’s been very wriggly today but sat down now and she’s quiet.. honestly the anxiety kills me! I’m nearly 27 weeks. How are you doing? Xx

@Skl2021 oh cool we picked up a bottle of mam bottles! A friend offered first dibs on her breast pump before she put it on eBay and it totally blew my mind 😳 think I need to look into it a bit more. Wonder what the pain is.. could it be where your rib cage is expanding?! Xx

@Srx1 honestly it’s just totally bizarre I have no other way of describing it! My other half thinks I’ve lost it 🤣 xx

Skl2021 · 23/07/2022 17:37

@aesgriff yes I wouldn't buy loads right now incase baby doesn't agree with them! We also have some tommee tippee ones we got in a pack with a steriliser if we need a back up. Wouldn't even know we're to begin with breast pumps! Well the other day I sneezed and something popped near my ribs and I have been in pain ever since 😣 hoping it's just stretching or ligaments but I can't continue like this it really hurts. Or maybe baby is lodged in my ribs 🤣🙄 always something!! X

Annny27 · 23/07/2022 18:35

I am getting really stressed about this "pattern" of movements!

What's everyone else's baby like? I am 26 weeks and basically can guarantee movement either just before I wake up or when I wake up in first hour, if I got to the loo in the night I can feel them move then and then during the day it's sometimes lots, sometimes a bit and then can pretty much guarantee some evening activity too. But I feel like all my friends felt their baby move constantly!

barneymcgroo · 23/07/2022 19:19

@Skl2021 my ds1 was breech, and stuck for the last month with his head under my ribs - it was agony!

Skl2021 · 23/07/2022 21:32

@barneymcgroo I'm only 29 weeks can't do this for another 11 😱 it's agony! Today the pain got that bad I thought I was going to pass out. Only get relief if I lay down on my side but obviously can't do that if I'm out 🤣🤦 x

barneymcgroo · 23/07/2022 21:57

Oof, poor you! Have you a midwife appt any time soon? Might be able to help?

Skl2021 · 23/07/2022 22:20

@barneymcgroo I have one a week on Monday but if this carries on I might have to ring doctors. Hoping it goes away 🤞🤞 just worried what went pop when I sneezed 🤣🙈 xx

barneymcgroo · 23/07/2022 22:31

Could easily just be one of those muscles in between your ribs - ah the joys...! Hope it doesn't last - found it so uncomfortable with head under ribs before. If it's muscular, I suppose it should get better in a couple of days? 🤞

Skl2021 · 23/07/2022 23:25

@barneymcgroo we can hope 🤣🤞🤞 xx

sunnyd67 · 24/07/2022 19:03

25 weeks, is anyone else having mild headaches almost everyday? I keep waking up with headaches and get them during the day. It has been going on for a week now, at the start I thought it must be the heat, but now that is has settled down surely it wasn't the heat then. I am drinking enough, at one point I thought perhaps I'm drinking too much..

Skl2021 · 24/07/2022 19:31

@sunnyd67 it's worth a mention to the midwife it will probably be nothing with them being mild but it can be a sign or preeclampsia or high blood pressure. I'm sure everything will be ok ♥️ x

sunnyd67 · 24/07/2022 20:45

@Skl2021 I did read about this, but I wasn't sure whether preeclampsia would show this early?

Skl2021 · 24/07/2022 21:33

@sunnyd67 that's why I didn't want u to worry as it's probably nothing. I'm not sure how early it can start. Just thought if u keep having them it's worth mentioning ♥️ x

Bridgey8 · 25/07/2022 07:42

@Skl2021 I have the pain in ribs constantly and have done for weeks. Some days it's manageable other days I can barely stand up or walk with it. Mine is a real burning sensation - like I'm being stabbed with a red hot poker. They have put it down to a trapped nerve or nerve compression - they've been worried about preeclampsia but I have no other symptoms. Deffo go and get checked if it's that uncomfortable but don't be surprised if they can't do anything!! Xx

Skl2021 · 25/07/2022 09:14

@Bridgey8 mine sounds exactly the same! I sneezed last week quite violently 🙈 and something popped and then I was in agony. Ever since if I'm stood to long or bend a certain way the pain gets really bad. I have a high pain tolerance anyway but I can't handle this. Did you go to the doctor's or midwife to get checked? X

Bridgey8 · 25/07/2022 09:16

@Skl2021 I genuinely thought it might be a hernia at one stage. Midwife has checked it and had it checked twice in triage. To be honest in triage they didn't really care as it's above my uterus and all they care about is the baby and uterus! And once they had checked my wee and blood pressure they lost interest!

Skl2021 · 25/07/2022 09:19

@Bridgey8 I thought it might have been baby in awkward position but since that pop I'm worried I have done something to my ribs or cartilage. I don't have a midwife appointment until next Monday so might have to go docs. But like u say there's probably nothing they can do. I haven't had anything in my wee upto now and I have a blood pressure monitor here at home so might check it x

Bridgey8 · 25/07/2022 09:21

@Skl2021 if I feel my ribs they just feel bruised. They said it can be from baby kicking or them expanding - it's so painful tho! I have a scan today so might ask them to look!

Skl2021 · 25/07/2022 09:24

@Bridgey8 yes I have no bruising. I haven't had rib pain this bad with my other kids. And with me only being 30 weeks can't do this for another ten it's excruciating at times! Yes definitely see if they can tell anything? Is it a growth scan? I have mine next Monday I can't even tell which way he is lying 🙈 xx

Hopingforarainbow27 · 25/07/2022 14:28

Hi girls. So far so good. Scan showed heartbeat and measuring 7 weeks 3 days. Another scan in two weeks

Srx1 · 25/07/2022 14:46

@Hopingforarainbow27 great news!☺️ hang in there, those first weeks drag in anticipation and anxiety but you'll get there, day by day! I hope you're feeling ok?
