Hi all, looks like we'll be filling up today or tomorrow. I wanted to create the thread early so we can have a link to the new one. Have a nice weekend!

Hi Ladies. Does anyone have the name of the fb group for this thread?
Thx

I would like to know this too.

Jaaxe · 11/07/2022 18:00

I didn’t realise there was a fb group

Gioia1 · 11/07/2022 21:24

Yes I think twas created in thread two by BuchananBaby or so can’t remember exactly

Jj19 · 12/07/2022 10:10

Hi lovely people. If anyone wants to be added to the Facebook group, best thing to do is add me as a friend and then I’ll send you an invite. It’s a private group so you won’t be able to find it otherwise. Then feel free to delete me as a friend 😂

lifechanginglemoncake · 12/07/2022 10:11

@Jj19 brilliant thanks. How do I find you on Facebook?

Jj19 · 12/07/2022 10:11

Sorry here it is

Hi ladies, I had my anomaly scan yesterday. They did not tell me much. The gave me the record with the following measurements:
FL 28.2mm
HC 161.9 mm
AC 139.7 mm
I am 19 weeks.
I am a bit concerned about the FL because on the 16 weeks private scan it was 21.4 mm. Any wise thoughts would be highly appreciated.

LolaJ87 · 12/07/2022 15:36

@Vg92 if there was any concern at your scan, I'm sure they would have told you. I'm no expert but having just had a quick google, it looks like your baby is maybe a tiny bit on the small side of average, but none of those measurements looks shocking. What in particular are you worried about?

tasha4eva10 · 12/07/2022 15:42

@Jj19 just sent you a Facebook request it will be from Natasha

Vg92 · 12/07/2022 15:54

@LolaJ87 thank you very much! I am concerned that the baby is not growing normally but I guess I just needed a reasu

Vg92 · 12/07/2022 15:55

@LolaJ87 thank you very much! I am concerned that the baby is not growing normally but I guess I just needed a reassurance. Thank you once again!

LolaJ87 · 12/07/2022 16:03

@Vg92 I know all too well how easy it is for this stuff to get into your head. The femur length is just below the 50th percentile (50th percentile is average) so definitely not anything to worry about.

In my experience, having had some extra risks with my pregnancy, the doctors/midwives will always give you any information you need. If they said nothing, there is really no need for you to worry.

Sdoubleyou · 12/07/2022 17:33

Hi ladies, I just read something that I find so useful and I wanted to share. If you find that after peeing you still feel like you have to go, I stead of peeing with your back straight up (like a normal person), put yourself completely parallel to the floor. You empty out your bladder much better. I felt very odd, but hey, it worked!

Has anyone else started with very restless legs? Au got it with both my others but much much later on.

stuntbubbles · 12/07/2022 18:01

@Mommabear20 Yes, it’s AWFUL. Worse if I go to bed late when I’m overtired. My cures:

Gentle walk before bed
Cold bath or shower before bed
Magnesium spray
Iron supplements
Sleep with an unwrapped bar of soap in the bed (don’t ask me why, it works!)
Leg massage
Weighted blanket or making DP lie on them
Bananas are meant to be good but they currently make me throw up

HayleyBean · 12/07/2022 18:58

@Sdoubleyou - thanks for this tip! Will try it out!

@Mommabear20 - I've been having restless legs at night and horrific cramps in my calves! The pain wakes me up at night. Think I'm going to start chugging tonic water for the quinine!

lifechanginglemoncake · 12/07/2022 19:08

@Sdoubleyou thanks for reminding me of this tip. Also super useful after birth if you have stitches to lean as far forward as possible so it stings less!

LolaJ87 · 12/07/2022 19:50

@Sdoubleyou thanks for the tip! I find I have to go a few times before bed so maybe this will help!

@Mommabear20 @stuntbubbles I get them but only when I’m overtired. Those are some handy tips to try too. Wonder how the soap works 😁

43prego · 13/07/2022 08:53

Hi everyone. Due on the 22nd. Think I got in a bought of pregnancy rage yesterday. Under the weather still.

Mommabear20 · 13/07/2022 10:00

Has anyone had a recurring dreams during their pregnancies? I've always had very vivid dreams when pregnant, but I've never had the same one more than once, but this time I'm having the same dream maybe every other night. It feels like it's trying to tell me something about my baby but I've never been one to believe in omens or anything, but now that it's my baby I'm getting worried 😟

Orcarain · 13/07/2022 10:44

@Mommabear20 I had one last night about a baby reveal party (honestly my worst nightmare so not 100% certain why my brain was creating this story.)

We had the confetti cannon, but we kept getting interrupted - so it never went off. So I woke up feeling sad I still didn't have a clue if my baby was a boy or a girl 😂

TeamBluex3 · 13/07/2022 11:28

Olive99 · 13/07/2022 11:29

I'm 17 and been straightforward so far but today my stomach feels really tight and I keep feeling wet but when I check it's clear. Has anyone has this?

Tofu35 · 13/07/2022 18:06

Still on my holidays but it's tiny moan time! Starting to get really puffed out quickly. So today was a lovely slow wander round a botanic gardens and any time there was a hill I was needing to psych myself up and take regular breaks! Dreading how I'll be in a few weeks if I'm like this at 18wks 😂

TeamBluex3 · 13/07/2022 18:09

@Tofu35 i feel your pain im like that when having to go upstairs 🤣 have to stop when i get to top to catch my breath! haha x
