Hi all, looks like we'll be filling up today or tomorrow. I wanted to create the thread early so we can have a link to the new one. Have a nice weekend!

Will be thinking of you tomorrow @Chanel05, glad the holiday was a good distraction from any nerves or worries!

Jaaxe · 08/08/2022 07:24

@Chanel05 good luck with the scan! We’re also on holiday at the moment and get back late night when I’ll be 20+4 and straight for a scan at 8:30am the day after at 20+5 so no time to get nervous either! If anything Ill need to remember to set my alarm to go to it 🤣

Slisha · 08/08/2022 16:24

I'm just back from a week off and feeling so revived. I really needed that and the weather was great!

My birthing center asked me to pop by for the MATB1 form. Wanted to check with the group, are there any other forms I need? DH just told me he needs SC3. He gets only two weeks off but something better than nothing 😐 Do daycare bookings need some forms?

Mommabear20 · 08/08/2022 16:46

@Slisha I've only ever got a MATB1 form in any of my pregnancies.

Orcarain · 08/08/2022 17:36

@HayleyBean another anterior placenta here! I’m 20+6 and have felt twinges… nothing major. I haven’t felt them much the past 2 days. Sonographer said not to be worried. My baby only has 3cm where it can actually let me know it’s there just now!

HayleyBean · 08/08/2022 19:04

I can't believe how many of us have anterior placentas! I didn't realise how common they are

stuntbubbles · 08/08/2022 19:53

Another anterior placenta checking in! Feeling daily kicks and seeing some tummy movement at 19+2 here but it’s second baby so don’t have the stomach muscles to muffle the movement. Think it reverberates through the mum tum 😂

Bluebonnet3 · 08/08/2022 22:59

Yup, anterior high placenta here. I haven't felt anything I can identify as movement yet. I'm currently 20w + 5d. My husband thinks he may have felt some movement with his hand on my belly. I'm looking forward to figuring out what it feels like, whenever that may be!

tasha4eva10 · 08/08/2022 23:00

I also have an anterior placenta, I saw my consultant today and she said I will feel movements within the next 3 weeks or so. I'm currently 19+3

Dora2018 · 09/08/2022 07:38

I’m anterior low lying placenta and finally starting to feel things most days now. Sonographer said I’d probably be feeling full body rolls when I feel things rather than kicks but if I lie still it feels like she’s having a little party most mornings/evenings 😂

AmyAW · 09/08/2022 10:08

I'm also part of the anterior placenta crew... 20+1 and just starting to feel very occasional sensations but quite honestly it could just be gas 😂

My 20 week scan is in two days I'm so nervous. There have been no signs of anything untoward, but we do have a history of spinal issues (my Nana lost a baby to spina bifida, and I have a spine dimple) and I'm so terrified of having issues.... The waiting is horrid!

Toffee2911 · 09/08/2022 11:39

I haven't posted in here for a while (I am now 22+4), I was away on holiday straight after my 20 week scan - the sun and swimming definitely helped my pelvic pain! Our 20 week scan went great, we didn't find out the sex as we're still wanting a surprise 😊

I was told that I have a posterier placenta which I guessed anyway as I have been feeling lots of movement, even my husband can feel it... it's so lovely. I got my WC jag last week, only a sore arm afterwards and that was it.

I have also requested a chat with the consultant to discuss an elective C-section (due to my medical condition), my midwife was very understanding and had absolutely no issues with this thankfully.

Sdoubleyou · 10/08/2022 03:45

So I've just found out what the "snail trail" is 😂I got loads of EWCM this evening and it freaked me out. Luckily Google was reassuring, apparently this is a thing. But O.M.G. there was a lot! Like an amount I would have been delighted about when TTC. Has anyone else had this? Should I wear pantyliners (and thus full undies) or just take my chances?

23 weeks today!!!! 😃🥳

According to my app, baby girl is about the size of a Barbie doll! 💖

How is everyone feeling this week??

Nursemumma92 · 10/08/2022 08:00

Going for 20 week scan today, feeling so terrified that something could be wrong but also telling myself that there is no reason to think the worst. So much scanxiety! I wasn't like this when pregnant with my daughter but this time I'm terrible.
Also looking forward to finding out gender but that is secondary to the anomaly aspect of the scan. Tell me I'm not the only one being this anxious about scans etc?!

Vg92 · 10/08/2022 10:54

@Nursemumma92 I was terrified from my anomaly scan and it is my first child. It is definitely not only you! I know it is almost impossible but try to think positive. Send you good vibes!

MissC07 · 10/08/2022 11:54

@Nursemumma92 Hope everything goes well with the scan! Sending you positivity 🌟

MissC07 · 10/08/2022 11:55

@Mommabear20 Happy 23 weeks 🥳 I have been feeling ok but today I feel completely exhausted, like first trimester exhausted! 💤 Thank god I'm working from home today. Hope everyone else is doing ok

Jaaxe · 10/08/2022 15:31

20 weeks today for me ☺️🥳 should of had my 20 week scan today too but on holiday so had to postpone till Monday! Hope everyone else’s go well! I got a few baby bargains today in the sale, just some white unisex babygrows and vests (not finding out what we’re having) but first things I’ve bought so bit exciting! Hope everyone’s enjoying the sun x

Nursemumma92 · 10/08/2022 16:44

Thanks @Vg92 and @MissC07 all went well thankfully and having a healthy little girl ❤️ my DD who is 4 is delighted she is having a little sister.
I have also got an anterior placenta, I know there are lots of mummas on here who have said the same. I was actually shocked as I've been feeling lots of movements but it's good to know.
Hoping everyone is doing well, and not roasting too much in this heat!

Sdoubleyou · 10/08/2022 19:42

@Nursemumma92 great that things went well!! Congrats on your little girl! 💖

I got the results from my scan today and all is developing well baby is average size so far. Very relieved!

Glad scans have been going well!

Today I've gone from finally feeling like I look pregnant enough to embrace pregnancy clothes and show off my bump, to feeling fat and horrible and like everyone is staring at me! Cannot win.

MadamMaltesers · 10/08/2022 21:47

Anyone have any experience of polyhydramnios in this pregnancy or a previous pregnancy? Slightly worried, although there is no obvious reason for it at the moment.

RhiRhi1996 · 10/08/2022 23:54

@Nutella99 I feel exactly the same! I don't think I look "definitely pregnant" yet, so I go between wanting to wear tighter fitted clothing to then deciding to hide myself in a baggy loose top. I keep trying to tell myself what does it matter if other people think I'm "fat" but apparently it does matter to me 😅🤣❤

Orcarain · 11/08/2022 07:15

@Mommabear20 what app are you using? My sister is hating my weekly updates of fruit and veg sizes… says she feels she can’t eat said fruit or veg that week 😂😂😂. So inanimate objects would be so much better!
