Hi all lovely people!

Here’s a thread for all March babies 🥰 I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo with a due date on the 10th of March 2023. I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks in early March so it feels special that we get our rainbow 🌈 baby around the one year mark!

A little about me: I’m 27, living in Sweden with my fiancé. This is our first child and we’ve really longed for this baby and desperately hoping it will stick this time!

Welcome to this journey, please tell me a little bit about you!

@Babynum2 sorry, I'm not on any meds just standard vitamins pregnacare ones

AGirlsNameIsAryaStark · 01/08/2022 21:17

Is anyone else completely off food? I’m just over 6 weeks and literally nothing seems appealing at the minute! I’m normally a big foodie so finding it quite weird, everything seems to taste a bit odd and I think if I was left to it at the minute I could happily go days without eating (not that I’m going to!)

Babynum2 · 01/08/2022 21:27

@jb2021 ahh think i tagged the wrong lady my head has gone!

Just realised tomorrow is tuesday and i have another scan at EPU hoping this time i can see more than a blob as further gone. Last 2 were internal wonder if it will be tomorrow aswell also have my booking app with them its all getting very real now! 9+2 nearly at double digits and my sickness has slowed down a little today only been to the toilet in the single digits and thats a big change.

JB2021 · 01/08/2022 21:29

@AGirlsNameIsAryaStark yes!!!! Things don't taste odd but totally lost my appetite and just don't feel like eating. Not like me at all, I'm usually always hungry and planning my meals!

LittleAcorn20 · 01/08/2022 21:34

@Babynum2 it might have been me you meant to tag. Id said I'd just got new meds.
I got ondansetron. It's helped today. Still can't stomach food but not been sick and managed to move from bed to the sofa this evening for a change of scenery! I'm 9+1 today, I hope it slows from here but with my first pregnancy weeks 10-13 were the worst. Clinging to the hope that every pregnancy is different 🙏

AGirlsNameIsAryaStark · 01/08/2022 22:13

@JB2021 ahh I’m glad it’s not just me! I was expecting to have mad cravings and feel like I want to eat for 2, instead I couldn’t care less about food 😂

JB2021 · 01/08/2022 22:14

@AGirlsNameIsAryaStark ive eaten just because I know I need to. I mentioned last night I'd had chip shop tea twice in three nights but it was all I fancied!

Whydotheyallhaverubbishwheels · 02/08/2022 08:40

Morning, how's everyone doing?

Were nearly at the end of the thread, anyone fancy setting up a new one?

I'm battling with nausea badddd. I don't think I had anything until 8 weeks with my first, although I was physically sick rather than just feeling sick. This time round as soon as I get a little bit hungry I feel awful. I have to constantly graze! I'm not even 7 weeks yet 🙈

rach971 · 02/08/2022 09:01

@AGirlsNameIsAryaStark I'm like that. Thinking of eating most foods just makes me feel 🤢 and I'm not a big foodie anyway so it's really narrowed down the choices for me. I just go with whatever I feel like I can eat on that particular day. It's frustrating! x

rach971 · 02/08/2022 09:04

@Whydotheyallhaverubbishwheels I'm like that. No sickness but I start feeling more nauseous when I'm hungry. But then if I eat too big of an evening meal that makes me feel super nauseous later on in the evening too. I half like it because I don't have many other pregnancy symptoms, so I'm glad I feel something. But at the same time, it's not a nice feeling.

AGirlsNameIsAryaStark · 02/08/2022 09:09

@rach971 I've only really fancied a couple of things, and then when I've had them they've tasted totally different! DH bought me home a milky bar last night bless him (they're my fave), took one bite and i thought it had gone off it tasted so odd!

@JB2021 Now you've said that I might try chip shop tea for dinner tonight 😂

rach971 · 02/08/2022 09:11

@AGirlsNameIsAryaStark It probably is just pregnancy related especially if it's been going on for a little while - but have you done a covid test? I had covid in April and I literally wouldn't have known if we hadn't gone to Nandos for tea and it all tasting super weird! That's what made me test and I had it.

hol92 · 02/08/2022 10:05

Oh same I have started with nausea on and off and I feel as though I need to eat but then as soon as I start eating I feel like gagging! I have found salt and vinegar crisps are great haha!

is anyone still having twinging pains? I’m 6 weeks xx

Babynum2 · 02/08/2022 10:08

@LittleAcorn20 ahh yes it was you, thats what they are putting me on today 9+3 i really hope stops me being sick im 7lb down in 3 weeks.

Babynum2 · 02/08/2022 10:11

I had quite a bit of pain like that last week especially (at 5 weeks) really expected AF to show up as was constant for about 36 hours but it's eased off. Although this week my boobs are crazy sore and the tiredness is almost like jetlag! although find the symptoms almost reassuring

I'm a little over ten weeks and still get all kinds of twinges and pains.
Largely when standing up, sneezing, twisting etc.
I noticed I get achey/crampy if I've overdone it too.

hol92 · 02/08/2022 10:50

@Perexi same! I also had period style pains, they left and now I just get like twinging pains, I guess there is a lot going on down there :) same with the boobs mine were sore then calmed about and now they are very sore and all I want to do is sleep I’m the same as you and also finding it reassuring! X

@botbump thank you :) it’s reassuring to know you have both had them too x

13Nikki · 02/08/2022 20:56

Hi everyone,

I've been reading from the start but have been reluctant to post. I need somewhere to rant.

I booked a private scan as I had a bad feeling and am currently going through my second missed miscarriage. I was due 1st March. I've been trying so hard to stay positive for everyone else around me so I don't upset them. But right now I'm alone and feeling it all. My DH is keen to try again asap and although I know I want another baby, the thought of going through all the extreme anxiety and sickness for potentially the same outcome is horrible.

I don't really know what I want out of this post, I just wanted to put down how I'm really feeling.

13Nikki · 02/08/2022 21:01

Just realised there is a new thread so will repost on there

MattyM5 · 03/08/2022 20:34

Hi ladies, hope you are all doing well and not dying from nausea! How long did it take you to get your first midwife appointment? I’ve self-referred 3 weeks ago but still haven’t heard anything (St Thomas)…… Nearly 7 weeks pregnant now and feeling totally abandoned, surely by now I must be in their system? (This is my first, so new to this and confused)

TeddyBeans · 03/08/2022 21:23

Just gonna fill this thread up so noone gets lost. See above for link to new thread!
