Hi all lovely people!

Here’s a thread for all March babies 🥰 I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo with a due date on the 10th of March 2023. I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks in early March so it feels special that we get our rainbow 🌈 baby around the one year mark!

A little about me: I’m 27, living in Sweden with my fiancé. This is our first child and we’ve really longed for this baby and desperately hoping it will stick this time!

Welcome to this journey, please tell me a little bit about you!

Hi @Loouloo thank you for setting up the thread and sorry to hear about your MC, I’ve been there too 😞

Not sure on EDD, it’s between 28.02 and 03.03 so I’m going to go with 3rd March! I’ve booked an early scan for a week on Saturday when I’ll be around 6 weeks.

I already have a DD who has just turned 3 😊

Loouloo · 27/06/2022 19:37

Welcome @Curlywurly3! Happy to have you here!

Wow, exciting with the scan! I think I’ll book one as well, but around 8 weeks.

Do you feel any different/similar to your last pregnancy? Have you had any symptoms yet?

I'm expecting my third end of feb/beginning of March!!

Feel like I'm doing it for the first time.

Morning sickness isn't one bit easier, that's for sure 🤣

Curlywurly3 · 27/06/2022 20:31

I was cramping and felt slightly nauseous when I found out last week but coming up to 5 weeks and I don’t feel anything! Except slightly tender breasts. I know some people don’t get symptoms sometimes but I have previously. I’m hoping lack of symptoms is nothing to worry about

Loouloo · 27/06/2022 20:42

Welcome @edel2!
well morning sickness is no fun! I hope it’s not too bad for you and that it passes fast!

@Curlywurly3 it’s still so early so I don’t think you should be worried about the few symptoms! Hopefully it means you’ll have an easy pregnancy 😊

I have really tender breast and feeling a bit fatigued and nauseous but we have a heat wave here in Sweden, 32 degrees today, so it could very well be that! I believe it’s a bit early for any real symptoms at 3w3d.

@Loouloo hey lovely, remembered your name from the TTC thread🥰 I’m due either the 2nd/3rd March (got 2 different dates from different apps!)

mariabombia · 27/06/2022 21:41

Biggg congratulations to everyone!!!

First pregnancy here, I've worked out I'd be due on the 2nd of March 😊 we've been ttc for 8 months and it's been really tough emotionally so I'm absolutely on cloud 9 right now.

According to Flo I'll be 5 weeks on Wednesday! We've not told anyone irl yet , not even the dr. I just can't quite believe it's real.

Symptom wise I can't complain too much, I've got sore boobs, a bit more tired than usual and I have had some period type cramps but they seem to have eased today. Generally feel really warm as well (& I'm usually cold all the time ) & sleeping quite a lot lighter than usual , not sure if that's because it's summer and I'm really excited about all this though tbh 🤷‍♀️haha.

I must admit I have been a bit worried that I've not got any strong symptoms yet. I hope that doesn't indicate anything bad but I'm really going to try not obsess about these kind of things and just enjoy the moment.

@Curlywurly3 I definitely recognise your handle from other threads a while ago 💕

Curlywurly3 · 27/06/2022 22:55

@mariabombia I recognise your name too! 👋🏻
I’m also 5 weeks on Wednesday. I reckon we’re feeling what we should be feeling now and in two weeks time we’ll be wishing we should be enjoying not feeling nauseous! ☺️

I’ve just done a FRER and it looks like the beginning of a dye stealer so 🤞🏻

Due March 2023 ✨👶☀️🌈
Loouloo · 28/06/2022 06:47

Welcome @ChloeN and @mariabombia! Congratulations on this journey 🥰

Ah, yes! I recognize you too ChloeN! So happy to be able to follow along!

Wow mariabombia! It must feel amazing! I as well feel on cloud 9, this was cycle number 6 for us.

I think I’m going to tell my best friend this weekend. AF was due on Friday so I just want to make sure we pass that date before we tell anyone. Then I’ll probably tell family and friends when I see them in person during July. With my mc in March I wished I had told more people beforehand so that I could’ve shared our joy, so I’m going to do that now!

OP posts:
mariabombia · 28/06/2022 14:47

@Curlywurly3 ah wow we must have the same due date then?
Haha I hope that's the case, thing is I've never been pregnant before so I've no idea what it's meant to feel like lol. Cramps have come back today for me. How are you feeling? FRER looks good! I'm going to do another one of those tests that show the weeks to make sure there is progression but not until Sunday. If it said 1-2 weeks last Sunday it should say 3-4 weeks then shouldn't it? Going to try hold off testing until then!

Thank you @Loouloo , congratulations to you too! How have you been feeling? I called the drs today to inform them about my pregnancy and it felt so surreal haha.

That sounds like a lovely idea, we've been in two minds about telling anyone so early but you're right, it would be lovely to share the joy ♥️ your fam & friends will be overjoyed for you!!

So sorry to hear about your MC, can't imagine how tough that was. Xx

SJ1994 · 28/06/2022 15:20

Hello everyone! ☺️ I got my first positive on Friday and worked out that I’m 4 weeks 3 days pregnant today, due around 3rd/4th March (I think). First pregnancy so very anxious but trying my best to relax - what will be will be!

Current symptoms - sore boobs!! More tired than usual and cramps, however these have really reduced today. Today I have had a few waves of mild nausea…really hoping I don’t suffer too badly there as I have a bit of a sick phobia! 🙏🏽

Im going to do a digital test at the end of the week!

TeddyBeans · 28/06/2022 15:54

Hey ladies! I'm going to hop on this thread too (already on the late Feb/early March thread) congratulations on your BFPs!

This is baby number 2 for me, first for my partner. DS is 4 and is off to school in September.

We've got an early scan booked for 16/7 when I'll be 7+3. EDD 1/3/23

ChloeN · 28/06/2022 16:30

Hey lovelies, what vitamins is everyone taking? As I got pregnant so quickly I hadn’t looked up about taking folic acid so only started when I found out😫 I’m taking the seven seas pregnancy multivitamin atm but I’ve no idea if that’s enough or even a good one!

SJ1994 · 28/06/2022 16:56

@ChloeN I am taking Vitamin D and Tesco's folic acid! I hope that’s enough, i eat really well most of the time so hoping I get enough Vit C etc from food. I really struggle swallowing tablets and find a lot of the pregnancy vitamins are huge 😂

Pinkcloud5 · 28/06/2022 22:41

Hey everyone,

hope you don’t mind me joining! I’m due March 1st! Will be 5 weeks tomorrow! First baby and unexpected but we’re delighted! Similar symptoms to lots of you… sore boobs, tired, bit of nausea. Have booked an early scan just to check everything is ticking along (I’ll be approx 6 weeks 5 days)

has anyone got a 3+ on a digital test yet? I’ve got one on the cupboard and nervous to take it, in case it hasn’t reached 3+ yet.

Kitty901 · 28/06/2022 22:57

Hi ladies, I am happy to be joining you! EDD is 2nd March, second baby for us :)
I have zero symptoms but have been lucky to not have any with our soon as well so not quite concerned about it.

Wishing everybody a healthy and happy pregnancies and hopefully there will be more ladies joining us soon :)

Hi everyone! After 2.5 years of trying and currently waiting for IVF funding approval, I've found out I'm naturally pregnant and due on 3rd March! I'm really scared to tell my doctor or contact midwives in case I have a CP/miscarriage and we won't be allowed to do IVF anymore... I'm 4+5 today so early days but things seem to be headed in the right direction 🤞 I've been testing every day to check the line progression but I'm trying to stop that now as it's stressing me out and just accept I am pregnant!

@Pinkcloud5 I also have a digital test left and am scared to take it and not get 3+! I did read online that for some people the 3+ takes a bit longer to appear than expected (eg 6 weeks+ rather than 5) but that it doesn't mean anything is wrong, just the threshold is high and normal levels of HCG vary a lot at this point, so if you do take it and get 2-3 don't panic!

Symptom wise I'm similar to most of you! Definite painful boobs, some period-like pains on and off, plus a bit of tiredness, dizziness and nausea - though hard to tell if the last few are pregnancy or anxiety/imagining things!

I've booked an early scan at 7 weeks on the dot and hoping that will give me some reassurance.

ChloeN · 29/06/2022 07:55

@Nora11 what lovely news , congratulations lovely🥰

@Pinkcloud5 I took a digital when I found out on Friday and got 2-3 weeks so trying to hold out until the weekend to do another to hopefully get 3+! I’ll be 5 weeks 3 days by then

Pinkcloud5 · 29/06/2022 07:55

@Nora11 wow congratulations!!! Incredible news to hear after trying for so long, really wishing you all the baby dust!

Good to know about the digitals, I’m going to wait until Friday to take one, then I’ll do one next week and hopefully it will come up as 3+. Will hopefully keep me sane until the early scan.

Keeping quiet about it all is the hardest part, the days are seriously dragging by.

Pinkcloud5 · 29/06/2022 07:57

@ChloeN yes same!! Waiting until Friday I’ll also be 5 + 3 then. It’s feels silly putting so much thought into a digital but I do think it will calm me a bit more if it’s progressed!

Kitty901 · 29/06/2022 08:54

Ladies, are you going to do an early scan privately and have you already contacted midwives/GP. I am thinking to wait until i am 6 or 7 weeks. They won't see me before 9/10 weeks anyway

ThatsNotMyMuffin · 29/06/2022 09:49

Hello, delighted to be joining you with my very fresh bfp this morning! Last year we lost a pregnancy which would have been due around now so it feels very special 🥺

ChloeN · 29/06/2022 10:04

@Kitty901 Ive booked an early scan for when I’m just over 8 weeks and contacted the midwifery team yesterday! They’ve set up my notes etc so just waiting for an appointment date now

SJ1994 · 29/06/2022 10:30

@Kitty901 Hello! I think it depends on your area, I’m 4 weeks 4 days and rang GP yesterday, they said I need to do a self referral form online but not until I’m at least 6 weeks. I am hoping to get a private scan booked around 8 weeks for reassurance 🙏🏽
