Hi all lovely people!

Here’s a thread for all March babies 🥰 I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo with a due date on the 10th of March 2023. I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks in early March so it feels special that we get our rainbow 🌈 baby around the one year mark!

A little about me: I’m 27, living in Sweden with my fiancé. This is our first child and we’ve really longed for this baby and desperately hoping it will stick this time!

Welcome to this journey, please tell me a little bit about you!

Hi all does anyone know if symptoms such a sore boobs should be coming and going this early? Can’t help but overthink everything lol

Eastybaby19 · 04/07/2022 09:05

Congratulations ladies 🎉 @TheHC phone gp this morning usually a missed period & positive test they want you to phone 😊 @Anon2324 this is my 2nd and I don't have sore boobs with this pregnancy or my last one, the first one I had barely any symptoms so try not to panic 🥰

Curlywurly3 · 04/07/2022 09:32

@TheHC where I live, you don’t speak with the GP at all. There is a form on their website which goes straight to the midwifery team. They then get in touch for your booking in appointment between week 8 and 10. I think all trusts are different.

@Eastybaby19 reassuring to hear you didn’t have many symptoms, I had loads in my other pregnancies and none with this one so have been worrying a little!

Anon2324 · 04/07/2022 09:33

@Eastybaby19 thankyou! I think i may have had some nausea thismorning but not sure if its all in my head😂

Anon2324 · 04/07/2022 09:39

Also guys im not sure if this is something that will affect my due date or not but the first day of my last period was the 31st of may but it lasted a full 2 weeks??

Handmaid2019 · 04/07/2022 09:56

Is that normal for you @Anon2324? Do you know when you ovulated? Smile

Anon2324 · 04/07/2022 10:21

No it was quite unusual for me as it usually lasts 6 days max! And im not sure when I ovulated

Eastybaby19 · 04/07/2022 11:07

@Curlywurly3 I was the same with 1st pregnancy, I paid a fortune for early scans because I was so worried 🙈 multiple pregnancy tests like 2 a week 🤣 but I had 0 symptoms tbh I felt great!
This time is very different just nauseous all day but not being sick thankfully, exhausted not sleeping great & my hair is sooo greasy which is so weird!!!

Handmaid2019 · 04/07/2022 11:25

My hair is really greasy too! Literally only washed it yesterday and it's greasy as anything today 😂

mariabombia · 04/07/2022 11:29

Had the best nights sleep last night after sleeping really lightly for the past few weeks!! 5+5 today, still doesn't feel real at all.

Hardly getting any symptoms this week. Cramps have pretty much eased off. Bit tired and boobs still sore but nothing major. Hope the lack of any major symptoms is normal 😬 early scan booked in for 7+4. Im so nervous about this!!!

First baby... the urge to keep testing after getting positives last week is strong but decided not to as it could potentially cause unnecessary anxiety and I know what I'm like 🤦🏼‍♀️

How's everyone feeling?? I've not heard from midwife yet! Not sure how long it should take them to get in touch .

Eastybaby19 · 04/07/2022 11:47

@Handmaid2019 bit of an annoying symptom isn't it 🤣 skin is not great either! I'm a beauty therapist so I really look after mine so it's definitely all the hormones 🙈

Handmaid2019 · 04/07/2022 11:50

Is anyone else obsessively doing pregnancy tests? I've done 3 already this morning, all different brands 😟 I literally can't think about anything other than being pregnant.

Flowerpower8912 · 04/07/2022 12:39

@Handmaid2019 I done 3 different brand tests Wednesday when I found out and since then I've done 2 more tests, and really had to resist the urge to do more. I feel soo anxious this time, my first 2 pregnancies I don't remember feeling this anxious, i just wish I could relax not worry so much, is this how you're feeling?
@mariabombia I'm 4 weeks today and just had letter from midwife today for booking in pregnancy for 3rd August, I contacted them on Thuesday. I've been feeling OK, get cramps on a night, boobs feel abit bigger and pains in them now and again, bit more tired but I didn't really get any symptoms with my 2 other pregnancies.

ThatsNotMyMuffin · 04/07/2022 12:39

My hair is so greasy too it's driving my wild! By 4pm I'm looking like I haven't washed in a week. Never had this with my previous pregnancies

Handmaid2019 · 04/07/2022 13:14

@Flowerpower8912 yes that is exactly how I feel! Hard isn't it? I'm worried that my lines aren't progressing enough and I'm still 1-2 weeks on clear blue digital. Yeah I don't remember being this anxious, but my last pregnancy was 10 years ago.

Kt12344 · 04/07/2022 15:03

Hi got my first positive on Saturday with a clearblue, I struggle taking tablets so got the pregnacare in liquid form but I find it tastes disgusting 🤢 has anyone any other ideas of what I could take? 🙂

Flowerpower8912 · 04/07/2022 15:15

@Handmaid2019 it is very hard ☹️ yeah my last pregnancy was 8 years ago and just don't remember these feelings at all. Have you heard back from midwifes yet?

Handmaid2019 · 04/07/2022 15:47

No but I've not contacted anyone yet, should I this early?

Flowerpower8912 · 04/07/2022 15:56

Im not sure. I've always just contacted the midwifes as soon as I've got a bfp, I've got my booking in appointment in August, when I'll be 8 weeks.

SJ1994 · 04/07/2022 15:58

It seems to depend on your area/trust! I have been advised to complete a self referral form on the hospital website but when 6+ weeks and not before.

Handmaid2019 · 04/07/2022 18:27

I know you self refer to my hospital, I work there as a nurse. I think I'll wait till 6 weeks just in case.

RhiRhi1988 · 04/07/2022 19:41

Thank you for the support.
Booked an early scan for Sunday when I’ll be 6+2. Hopefully that may give me some more reassurance.

I keep testing even though I know I’m pregnant. It’s so silly. But that 3+ on the digital is making me feel more confident.

Anon2324 · 04/07/2022 20:05

I also work at the maternity part of the hospital and don’t want everyone body knowing in pregnant so early!
i work at an assessment unit which is basically a&e for pregnant people, definitely doesn't calm the nerves lol

Handmaid2019 · 04/07/2022 20:15

Congratulations @RhiRhi1988 when did you get your 3+?!
