Hi all,

Feel free to join and share the journey together.

Also, I don't know how relevant this is to most of you but I am on a lot of very expensive drugs, some through ivf clinic, some through miscarriage clinic (both private). I filled in an econsult for my gp and they've agreed to prescribe some of them instantly (steroids, omperazole, metformin, cyclogest) and the rest they have to check with some medical council and are going to get back to me. May be worth knowing.

Boggles24 · 17/06/2022 18:37

Hi, can I tentatively join you?? Had an ectopic in October last year, and having been trying ever since. This is my test from this morning (13dpo) what do people think? Look positive or too faint for 13dpo? I’m worrying it’s another ectopic/chemical 😫

MooBugz · 17/06/2022 23:28

Welcome @Boggles24 defkk ok a pink line there maybe you had a late implantation? Only time will tell but have everything crossed for you.

Sorry to hear about the ectopic it must make you question everything right now but hopefully this is different this time round for you 😊

@Boggles24 I see a line there. Was that at 3 mins?

Boggles24 · 18/06/2022 08:51

@seven201 yes that was at 3 mins. I’ve attached today’s test, which seems a little darker so I’m trying to be positive.

RedElleJ · 18/06/2022 09:10

@Boggles24 the line is definitely progressing ☺️ Sending lots of love and positivity your way. I’m sorry to hear about you ectopic - did the EPU offer you an early scan for your next pregnancy?

MooBugz · 18/06/2022 09:54

@Boggles24 that's more than just a little darker than yday! 😍

How are you feeling?

Helloooo

Got my BFP yesterday at 8DPO
I've already got a 3 year old and then this year we had two chemicals so hoping this one sticks....
I'm a bit hopeful as my line is looking better than my chemicals 🤞

Skylark1990 · 18/06/2022 15:08

@Boggles24 definitely some good line progression there! ❤️🤞 Hope it continues to darken and you're feeling ok.

Welcome @BEL88 , and that looks like some great line progression too! Sorry for your losses. Your situation is similar to mine, I have a nearly 2 year old and have had two early losses this year as well. With this pregnancy the line got darker and darker until I got a couple of dye stealers 🤣 I spent a fortune on tests! But seeing it get darker definitely helped me feel more hopeful and reassured 🤞🤞

Skylark1990 · 18/06/2022 15:11

Off to a wedding today and had to run to get the train 😖 was not enjoyable as worried I have jolted the embryo out of place! Hopefully not and I know running doesn't really cause MC but easy to worry about anything really, isn't it 😅🙈🤦‍♀️😖 it's also set off some mild nausea and I am so so bloated I feel like I look about 4 months pregnant already

@Skylark1990 hope you have a good time at the wedding, can defo relate to the bloating my bloat game is very strong these days I'm so self conscious from it.

Just back from a Tesco shop with the kids, why I thought a day before Father's Day was a good idea to attempt that I don't know 🙈

Welcome @BEL88 - sorry to hear about your chemicals. Those lines look good though so 🤞🏻 x

it’s our wedding anniversary today and we spent some time talking over lunch about moving house. And we both kept saying, ‘if we have this baby…’ It just feels so shit to talk that way 😩 I wish we could talk about baby shopping but that just isn’t going to happen anytime soon.

@Skylark1990 Try not to worry - bubba is firmly in place, it would likely take trauma to the abdomen to make it shift. I hope you are having a lovely time at the wedding and your not feeling too sick x

madeinthe80z · 18/06/2022 23:40

Oh gosh I feel all of your feels. I went to a concert tonight and was up dancing for 90 mins and was just thinking about if I've dislodged something....its totally not a thing I'm sure!!!

And I constantly start my sentences with 'all being well,' 'if this one sticks,' ..... it sucks.

However, positive vibes again girls. Everything is okay today, we are pregnant today.

Also I got a proper dye stealer on a cheapie finally!! Mainly because I held my pee so long as the queue for the toilets was ridiculous so I waited till I was home 🤣

Ally256 · 19/06/2022 05:40

@madeinthe80z ha I just got my first dye stealer on an internet cheapie too! Gave me the confidence to do my maternity self referral form eep.

RedElleJ · 19/06/2022 05:50

Morning ladies,

Congrats on the IC dye stealers think I got mine today too…or maybe just about to be one?

Hope you were able to enjoy the concert @madeinthe80z Congrats on starting the process @Ally256 🎉You got this!

Hope we all have a fab Sunday x

This was after me saying I wouldn’t
test on an IC again 🙈I managed one whole day 😂

MooBugz · 19/06/2022 06:59

Morning all and wow love them lines @RedElleJ what a beaut! We are so hard on ourselves aren't we not allowing the full happy emotions:

As @madeinthe80z said, today we are pregnant let's me good with that 😊

Congrats @Ally256 it's great to see that dark line isn't it really helps cement the feeling of progression.

I hope you all have a good day today and if you think about it we just need to get through another couple weeks of fear to hopefully get to our safe zone 🤞🏼

For now deep breaths and try enjoy the journey ❤️

I feel my line is less today
It's horrible that we're controlled by these lines :(
My mum said to test again in a week...I'd go insane if i did that 🙈

Pic attached. Bottom one is from today FMU

MooBugz · 19/06/2022 09:50

It could be that the line dried darker and it only looks like that. For 9/10 dpo they are both pretty clear lines. I would try again tomorrow it's nerve wracking I know but try not to think the worst 🤞🏼

BEL88 · 19/06/2022 09:52

I know 🙈I need talking to really it's ridiculous

MooBugz · 19/06/2022 09:55

My lines were barely visible on camera at 9dpo so I say your good going!

OP posts:
Skylark1990 · 19/06/2022 10:47

Such good wise words from everyone ☺️ congrats on the cheapie dye stealers @madeinthe80z and @RedElleJ ! @BEL88 it's incredibly hard to do but my advice is to not test tomorrow and wait two days then test again, so test on Tues. HCG takes 2-3 days to rise so often daily tests don't show a significant increase and can just worry is further. I totally understand your worry after having 2 chemicals myself. As @MooBugz said my 9dpo was barely visible so if you're confident that your dates are right, these tests look amazing for 9/10 dpo! From around 12 you should start seeing a darker line but everyone is different! It's so hard isn't it xx

Skylark1990 · 19/06/2022 10:49

I think my last chemical happened at 4+5 after looking at my chart from that month again, so I've passed that now, and I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow! The other chemical happened earlier at 4+3 I think so again, very happy I've past those times even tho it's still such early days! Have big day of work tomorrow so prob won't get time to call the doctor, but I'm planning to on Tues all being well and doing my midwife referral.

Totally agree, it's so shitty saying "if this pregnancy progresses" or similar before any chat about the baby, I hope within a few weeks we are all feeling more confident! One day at a time ❤️🤞

seven201 · 19/06/2022 14:09

@BEL88 all my tests for the first few days looked similar. I was convinced they were going to disappear but they did eventually get darker. A line is a line, I try and focus on that.
