@PinkButtercups wow! Congratulations!
It's wonderful to hear about these reassuring scans!
@MrsGrealish I've been following your posts and really hope Friday is good news for you. I'm seeing my own gp on Friday but I'm thinking more about you!

I'm in limbo land - struggling a bit with covid, coughing, conjunctivitis. Because I'm pregnant I'm getting calls from the covid nurses daily to see how I'm doing. I've got too many covid symptoms! I was sure I was going to have no problems with it. My nausea is gone though, just quite a lot of fatigue. I've also got thrush - again. I am feeling a bit detached from the pregnancy...but maybe that's the best way to go through this risky waiting time. Anyway, I have my first GP appointment on Friday, maybe we'll do an early scan, guess we'll see.

@PinkButtercups wow huge congratulations!

MrsGrealish · 01/06/2022 07:24

@Cat2hop thank u so much ❤️ I don't write much on here because I feel like a bit of a fraud atm but the pregnancy symptoms feel real enough to me.

I'm so sorry you have covid. I took it at the end of February and it really knocked me off my feet for a bit. Xx

MrsGrealish · 01/06/2022 07:25

@PinkButtercups ahh you're on the Facebook group!! Congratulations again!!💕

Diamondbabe · 01/06/2022 07:42

Where abouts in bucks are you? I'm Marlow! X

Twins…. Wow! Beyond thrilled for you! Love seeing these updates!

I am feeling the twinges/pulls on off a few times a day but everything else seems to be steady. I’m 34, so months of worrying about trying given the approach to 35 (& scaremongering in the press…) has probably impacted me.

fullfatsocks · 01/06/2022 11:11

Hi everyone and congratulations - is it ok to join after a long time lurking? I’m 6+3 today with an edd of 23/1/23, found out at 4 weeks. We’re both 35 and this is my first baby, we had a chemical pregnancy at Christmas - I started bleeding 4 days after a positive test and it was like a normal period by 5 weeks. We’ve been trying since November so not long but I’d been quite anxious about it following the CP. I had some light brown loss for 4 days last week which seems to have settled fingers crossed. I called EPU who were lovely but said they didn’t need to see me unless it got worse/ lasted for a week/ there was bad pain. I’ve told a few close friends but not told our families yet - they don’t know we’re trying. We have a private scan booked for 8+4 and I’d like to tell them after that. I’ve had sore boobs and been tired/ breathless since fairly early, lots of bloating the first week. I’ve started feeling sick this week and it does feel better if I eat but I’m just not fancying anything at all to eat! Nice to be here 😊

babyjellyfish · 01/06/2022 13:00

Just had my scan.

Little gummy bear measuring a day or two ahead at 8+3 with a strong heartbeat. 💓

MrsGrealish · 01/06/2022 13:21

Fabulous news @babyjellyfish ❤️

Oh @Moosh18 I don't know. I'm bloated sore boobs thirsty but still bleeding a little. Roll on Friday xx

Moosh18 · 01/06/2022 13:53

@MrsGrealish it's absolute torture isn't it! I had to wait two weeks and I was just a mess, I couldn't focus on anything else.... I've got my next scan two weeks today and it feels like an absolute lifetime away 😩

Congratulations to everyone with great news at their early scans 💖✨ and lots of love and luck to those waiting on a scan 🍀❤️

How are we all doing in terms of exercise? I've been a regular gym class goer for a few years but when I found out I was pregnant I stopped going as much, but I really miss it and am signed up for a spin class tonight. Is anyone else still working out regularly and with intensity? A part of me wonders if I should just knock it all off until 12 weeks-ish and focus on taking it easy while Tiny Bean settles down.

I am still swimming a few km a week but just listening to my body if it feels slow or I feel like I should stop. If you are used to it I don’t see any reason to stop!

PurpleSpottedLeopard · 01/06/2022 15:33

Hi @fullfatsocks I hope that your scan goes well in a couple of weeks. I had a scan at my EPU just before 6 weeks for some cramping and brown discharge and everything was ok, I hope it’s the same for you. I didn’t realise early pregnancy would make me feel so anxious!

I’ve carried on doing 45 min weekly aerobic style class each week as I read it was ok to carry on if it was exercise your body was used to before getting pregnant. I did consider stopping as but the time it gets to the evening I’m knackered but I need to do something to counteract all the terrible food I seem to be eating 😂

Congrats @babyjellyfish I bet you are so relieved 🥰 I have my early scan this evening and absolutely bricking it 😩😩😩😩

Thank you 😊 I definitely underestimated early pregnancy and how loooooong the first trimester is! It was nothing like last time and my symptoms are still strong so feeling hopeful.

Re exercise, I try to go for a long walk and I get a migraine. I'm getting so fat and it's only 9 weeks in but I don't see how exercise is going to be possibly at the moment. I'm seeing a GP next week and I'll ask.

EnterACloud · 01/06/2022 18:42

Checking in - first time pregnancy, quite nervous. Haven’t called the midwives or doc yet and not sure where to start.

fancyfrogs · 01/06/2022 18:53

Off for scan now and I'm so nervous I could puke 🤢

EnterACloud · 01/06/2022 19:59

Oh gosh best of luck Frogs! Hope it’s good news

hopingfor23 · 01/06/2022 21:04

Thanks @Moosh18 pleased to say it couldn't have gone better. Super strong heart beat and measuring pretty much spot on. So so happy ❤️❤️❤️
