@HRA22 i have no symptoms either.. i had lower back pain at the start which has gone and i have had really sore boobs the last couple days. i get cramps every now and then but other than that I’m in the same boat! i have an early scan on friday.. i feel like i will feel safer once i hear the baby’s heartbeat because i really don’t feel pregnant at the moment! i guess we really shouldn’t complain but it’s such a hard waiting game!

ZoeG22 · 31/05/2022 08:55

@HRA22 I also don't have many symptoms, I keep thinking that I can't be pregnant 🙈 I did a test this morning for reassurance and it cane back with strong lines so that calmed me down a bit.

I joked to my husband that only on pregnancy and birth do you 'wish' to be in pain/uncomfortable 🙄🙈

HappyMrsR · 31/05/2022 09:05

@MightyMouse101 it still won't work ove clicked it and it's taking me to Facebook but just to my news feed.

HRA22 · 31/05/2022 09:18

Well good luck everyone with your early scans…. You’ve all made me feel a bit better this morning, thank you so much!!

I’ve booked an early scan for a week tomorrow as that is what the practitioner advised. So need to get a jubilee weekend party… without drinking…sure that won’t raise suspicions :)

MightyMouse101 · 31/05/2022 09:44

@HappyMrsR Can you PM me with the email address and name you use on FB? I can then try to add you that way. Annoying that it's not working!

I'm from Surrey but currently living near Paris.

Hi @DanceWithYourBalloon!

DanceWithYourBalloon · 31/05/2022 10:24

@babyjellyfish Hi 🙋🏻‍♀️ How are you finding the French healthcare system for pregnancy?
I'm slowly working it out. Doesn't help that I'm still waiting for my Carte Vitale! 😂

This isn't my first rodeo - I had my son 14 months ago so I've been through it all before!

I have found the healthcare system here excellent, but it can be quite hard to get your head round at first. Feel free to PM me if you want to chat about it!

I’m pleased that I’m not the only one who might have a December baby. When the babies start to arrive we will all be mixed up.

I haven’t heard back from the midwife and I am going on holiday for 2 weeks on Friday so I will have to phone and see if they can book me appointments for as soon as I get back or I will be very late with my booking appointment.

Moosh18 · 31/05/2022 13:18

@ElephantGrey101 all being well with my pregnancy, this baby will 💯be a December baby, I'm due 7th jan, but baby will be delivered by c section at 38 weeks, which is Christmas Day! So not sure when they will do it! X

@Moosh18 and @ElephantGrey101 Im similar, due date so far is right at end of Dec but could go either way so hedging my bets being on both threads on here 🤣🙈 plus I find people due Jan are at more similar stage in terms of symptoma etc so that helps!

@HRA22 I honestly was anxious up til wk8 when symptoms were more pregnancy eg nausea but I still havent been sick (10+1) and i did wish for some reassuring sickness in early days but everything at scans has been fine so we must just be lucky ones! (Having said that... the tiredness, sore boobs, gas and nausea since 8wks doesnt make me feel so lucky right now lol!!!)

Moosh18 · 31/05/2022 14:02

@LC84 so my sickness is getting worse by day, more nausea still but gets so bad on an evening, I went to bed last night thinking I was going to throw up, but this far it's bareable unlike last pregnancy! Tiredness is next level! I don't know how to cope with that!

Hi all, just catching up as have been away for a few days!
I also may well have an earlier than Jan baby but desperately hoping not. DS was 12 weeks early and I don't want to do that again 😔
My resting heart rate has also gone up from 64 to 81 same as others have mentioned 😅
Still hardly any symptoms here. Scan tomorrow and starting to feel really anxious!! Know I won't sleep tonight 😬 trying not to worry as I had hardly any symptoms last time too and everything was ok 🤞🏻
@brogan12 I live about 10 min away from you 🙂

I feel exactly like this. Was very nearly sick last night and feel like I could fall asleep at my desk today

PurpleSpottedLeopard · 31/05/2022 16:05

I may well be having a December baby too. Just had a scan where I was measuring a little bit ahead and my measurements fit better with a 31st December due date.

ElephantGrey101 · 31/05/2022 18:29

@PurpleSpottedLeopard yay to another December baby.

@Moosh18 my friend was in exactly the same situation as you. They were originally going to do her caesarean on the 24th December but moved it forward to the 23rd and she was home by Christmas Day.

Moosh18 · 31/05/2022 18:41

@ElephantGrey101 I'm really hoping they do 27th! X

Is anyone else suffering with heartburn/indigestion? Every night after my dinner I'm in agony 😩🔥

babyjellyfish · 31/05/2022 21:13

I'm having a scan tomorrow morning. Eek!

JenniferR2021 · 31/05/2022 21:15

@Sassy144 I have it from about 3 pm onwards it's like a burning sick feeling

PinkButtercups · 31/05/2022 21:35

Is anyone else at 6weeks~ & having limited symptoms? I have an early scan booked next week but I’m worrying myself rotten at the lack of symptoms… only seem to feel twinges (which I’ve read is the expansion etc) but I feel literally nothing else. I think I’d rather have some sickness to feel like everything is ok!

I'm 5+4 and no real symptoms. I was the same with my 1st took me forever to feel like I was pregnant. Definitely don't think having no symptoms is a bad thing x

Oh wow! Huge congrats!

PurpleSpottedLeopard · 31/05/2022 22:05

Congratulations @PinkButtercups !!

We had a reassurance scan today too. Just one baby on ours but lovely and wriggly! Were you expecting twins at all?

@HRA22 I felt pretty similar at 6 weeks but then the nausea started to really kick in about a week later I think. I had twinges that felt like pulling a lot though.

@ElephantGrey101 we have lots of family birthdays already in December, expensive month!

PinkButtercups · 31/05/2022 22:09

Thank you everyone 🥰.

Well I always had a feeling I'd have twins and I said to DP I bet I have twins. And I do 🤣
