@irishgem92 I've been losing sleep lately - not over whether or not the baby will survive as that's out of my control, but more worried about paying for childcare and how I'll cope at work. I don't have any family nearby and childcare costs are insane where I live, if you can even find a place (Dublin). I have my booking in appointment and 12 week scan next week so I'll mention it then.

Just wanted to keep this updated for other peoples benefit really.

I had my scan today - they did a normal ultrasound and not a TVS - which I was happy about as last one was really uncomfortable.

Baby is ok and still growing according to dates. Heartbeat was also good and strong.

They did a speculum check of my cervix to see if they could see a reason for bleeding - no more bleeding and everything looked fine. I do however have ectropion cervix so that could cause spotting and bleeding.

the also did a swab to check for any further bacteria - hopefully that comes back normal - I don’t have any symptoms

I have to finish my antibiotics to get rid of the UTI - then hopefully all will be ok

my mind is at ease but still not looking forward to the wait for the next one ….

I was bleeding today got seen had a scan all was ok and couldn't see why I was bleeding wee heart was flickerin away

I’m 9 + 1 today and the exhaustion & grumpiness is peaking! Waking up feeling hungover most mornings! I’ve dodged the sickness but I’m very sensitive to smells and I’ve taken a dislike to the smell of my house, kitchen, bathroom 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️ Don’t eat unless I really fancy something which can take an hour to decide…

how’s everyone else feeling? Lovely seeing good news from ladies on here xx

Scan booked tonight, hoping it'll ease my anxiety, just can't shake an awful feeling somethings wrong :(

I'm 9 weeks today according to my scans (10 weeks going off last period😂) but I literally don't have an appetite at all! My sickness has slowly gone but I still don't feel like eating at all 😅 is anyone else the same? How you coping?

When is everyone’s 12 week scans? Can’t be long before they start for those due the beginning of January? How exciting!

@Peonies94 mines the 1st July! Literally 2 weeks away! But I think I'll only be 11 weeks then. When's yours?

@Peonies94 Mines 28th June I'll be 14 weeks going by last period but 12 weeks going by the early scan. Can't wait to see the little bean again xx

@Peonies94 Mine’s 14th July! I’ll be 12+6. Very impressed by the speed - midwife sent the referral on Tues, got the letter through the post on Wed! Apparently Dec/Jan/Feb is the least busy time for births (September the busiest!) so less issues with scans being overbooked etc.

@brogan12 so mines the 22nd of July, as I’m one of the later ones in the group! Due between 31st-2nd feb!

how exciting for us all! @Amber17 thats really fast! Mine took about a week to come, and I thought mine might have taken longer!

Mine is next Thursday, 23rd June. I'll be exactly 12 weeks. My booking in appointment is Monday.

@brogan12 I have the opposite problem re appetite. Between feeling rough and frequent migraines I find myself moving much less and eating more. I'm quite alarmed at my weight gain. The IVF process and progesterone pessaries didn't help.

Perfectly healthy, saw and heard the heartbeat, measuring two days ahead so 10w6d today and he / she was wriggling around 💕

I had a scan last night after a gush of red blood on Monday night. Measured 11 weeks a happy dancing baby was moving so much their movements drowned out the heart beat! No explanation for the bleeding though, its still brown now but a lot less than the red gush I had.

12 week scan next Wednesday for us which should be 12 weeks on the dot.
