Hi ladies, one last thing before I disappear :)
I saw some were asking about exercise recently. Sydney Cummings has been working out during her pregnancy and sharing her videos each day, she’s a great inspiration, 2 weeks from her due date and still lifting 😅 she conceived mid sept if you’re trying to sync dates with her videos. Lots of love 💞

I’m so sorry to the ladies that have had bad news. Look after yourselves and I hope you’ve got lots of support around you. 💗💗

Swale · 11/06/2022 19:42

If your FB profile name is “Go Away” please can you PM me? Just want to make sure it’s a genuine request and not directed at the group.

brogan12 · 12/06/2022 17:18

Finally got to see what's been making me so poorly the past few weeks! Our little jellybean due the 19th January! Measuring perfectly and a strong heartbeat! We have already announced on Facebook too (if anything happens again, we would like the support being further along!) just had to share with you all!

That’s lovely news @brogan12 😍 we told my mum and dad today as I just want support now either way. We have a scan booked Thursday when I should be 8+4. I’ve had a small bit of brown loss again today but EPU aren’t concerned until it’s been for week or is heavy/ painful. Feeling so much anxiety so hoping for good news 🤞🏼

Peonies94 · 13/06/2022 06:43

@brogan12 congratulations ☺️!

@fullfatsocks aww It’s just such a stressful time isn’t it! Constant worry! Sorry to hear your going through this, hopefully you won’t have anymore! I guess it’s a good sign it’s brown and not red!

fullfatsocks · 13/06/2022 19:44

@Peonies94 thank you ☺️ i had my appt through for booking today in just over two weeks when I’ll be 10.5 weeks so that makes it seem a bit more real 🤞🏼😬

Cat2hop · 14/06/2022 04:44

I'm 9+1 today and had a dating scan yesterday, all is well, heart going 170bpm 😊😊
Little one continuing to make me feel sick at times though I reckon not as bad as first time round, keen on sweet fruit, just like last pregnancy, particularly orange, not so good with meat 🤢 strong sense of smell definitely not helping! Someone's salami sandwich really set me off the other day.
Will prob tell people in the next few weeks, just want the screening and the NIPT to be OK 🤞

Leila2022 · 14/06/2022 05:22

I didn’t post for a while I’ll give an update.

last Thursday I had a scan to check if everything was going well - heart beat was 174bpm and everything measure to date

I did feel the scan was a bit invasive and took so long … but she seemed very thorough checking my bladder and all other internal organs that would be visible on the ultra sound

then over the weekend I started to get a temperature and kept vomited - I was admitted to hospital and put on a driip

prior to being admitted I was left and neglected in A&E in a cubicle with a temperature above 37.8 and no one bothered to give me paracetamol for 6 hours … they even tried to give me the wrong medication and didn’t realise I was pregnant

once I was admitted to the correct department everything was ok and rehydrated etc

I felt something wasn’t right and this morning I woke up with bright reddish brown blood that turned more brown after wiping :;(. So I feel it’s not good news

I felt sick yesterday but it was a different type of sickness to MS which I haven’t really had this pregnancy like my last full term pregnancy

Really so sad as I got this far :(

Leila2022 · 14/06/2022 05:44

Thought I would mention I had my last scan at 9+3 and today I would be 10+1 cramping is getting worse

not sure if it’s happened because of invasive scan … as it was rather or because I was left with a temp in A&E for so many hours … my pregnancy seemed to be progressing normally at last scan and were very happy …
thought because I had so many MC I would be able to handle it but not feeling great emotionally .. feeling really deflated and depressed

babyjellyfish · 14/06/2022 07:04

Hi @Leila2022, can you go to the EPU today? The amount of blood you've described isn't enough to be a complete miscarriage in itself so I think you have nothing to lose by going in for another scan. They should be able to scan you abdominally by now.

Leila2022 · 14/06/2022 07:28

Hi Babyjellyfish

thank you for taking the time to reply :)

yes I know it’s not enough to be a complete miscarriage but I have had so many MC’s I feel it may be the beginning of one.

I can’t go to EPU today as my husband is going to work and have an 2 year old at home who will run riot in the EPU - usually the wait time is quite long .. but I’ll give them a call

I used some more progesterone and the bleeding seems to have stopped a bit now … I was also. But constipated last night so that may have caused it… but it is the cramping that is bothering me more than the bleeding :(

Early pregnancy is so stressful … I thought I had over come the worst when I had my scan last week and my mind was more at ease

I will give EPU a call though and see what they say… and see what happens today as I can probably go in for a scan on Wednesday

:(

babyjellyfish · 14/06/2022 08:04

How many miscarriages have you had, @Leila2022, and how far along were you when they happened?

I spent the first four months or so of my last pregnancy living in constant fear after five early losses. But as my doctor kept pointing out, if your baby has been measuring on track and had a strong heartbeat at previous ultrasounds, it's very unlikely that anything will go wrong now. That said, all my losses were before about 7 weeks, so if you have a history of later miscarriages you may not feel that applies to you.

I hope you get some answers soon.

Leila2022 · 14/06/2022 08:30

i have had 4

all of my miscarriages have been before 12 weeks but varied from when some late some earlier on.

I am a bit older so I have more risk, my risk is still 10% even after a strong HB.

my last scan looked fine but it was really invasive and uncomfortable - I have had so many TVS never had one like that before, but I guess she was being thorough

but I’m just worried about my low grade fever over the weekend - which when I was sent to A&E was left with a fever for 5 hours before giving me paracetamol … this has happened with every MC I have had - a fever first :(

I’ve taken progesterone again I guess that’s all I can do

still cramping :(

Moosh18 · 14/06/2022 08:49

Still checking thread time to time so see how you lovely ladies are getting on,

@Leila2022 I'm so so sorry you are going through this. Nothing I can say will put your mind at rest I know that, I really hope you get some answers soon as the unknown was the worst for me, will they investigate if you have another MC? Or like me because you've had a healthy pregnancy they just let you carry on basically, emotionally I'm really struggling this time, to get so far I just feel robbed and broken, today should of been my 12 week scan and I just feel so low, I'm sending you lots of love and I have everything crossed that all is well! ❤️

Don't let them fob you off either! Go get checked out! Call Epu! They will see you same day... x

Hi Moosh18

I hope you’re keeping as well as could be imagined :(

I have already had investigations at the early fetal unit and recurrent miscarriage clinic and was due to start IVF, but then I got pregnant naturally and had a baby. I was told to take progesterone as soon as I get pregnant. I had another miscarriage last year 10 months after giving birth - again I took progesterone

Due of my age they will no longer see me at the recurrent miscarriage clinic , as I have been seen there three times already prior to having my little boy and now because of my age my risk of MC is quite high. The only thing they will do is give me progesterone and prescribe aspirin and give me lots of scans.

I feel so blessed to have one child as it was a difficult road to get there, but really wanted him to have a sibling.

I will just have to see what happens as bleeding seems to have now stopped, but I used more progesterone which usually does stop it.

i have gone into this pregnancy rather pessimistic as it’s easier to deal with disappointment and a nice surprise if everything turns out ok.

however like you i didn’t have any symptoms - MS which I suffered from terribly in last pregnancy - other than waves of nausea and then being admitted for constant ant vomiting over the weekend - which I think was due to my urine infection

Ill just have to wait and see.

you need to give yourself lots of time and space and it’s ok to not feel ok, sometimes you will feel fine and over it and then it just hits you … and it never feels fair no matter what people tell you :(

please take care of yourself xx

irishgem92 · 14/06/2022 17:14

Hi ladies 🥰

Really sorry to read about the losses in this chat, sending lots of love you guys 💕

I'm 8+4weeks today due on 20/01/2023. Just wondering Is anyone else struggling with feelings of anxiety and feeling down? I should be the happiest person in the world but I've suddenly started worrying about everything and anything.

I've got an amazing partner and we've told close family but I can't help feeling very alone in my pregnancy because I haven't told many people.

I think it's just my hormones playing havoc!

Hoping everyone is doing well 💓🥰xx

EnterACloud · 14/06/2022 17:22

I feel a bit like that too @irishgem92, sorry you're feeling anxious. Hopefully the next couple of weeks will speed by healthily and you can tell everyone! I hate keeping it secret from people but obviously telling people is also quite stressful!

mrsgtobe97 · 14/06/2022 17:52

Yeah I'm struggling badly with anxiety too. 10w2d and we had an early scan at 6w4d that went brilliant but I can't help but dread my next scan which is next Thursday, I can't picture a scenario of a baby actually being there I don't know why :(

Leila2022 · 14/06/2022 18:08

My last successful pregnancy I felt the same way.. I dreaded every single scan.

Try not to worry, as long as you had no bleeding with cramps everything should be absolutely fine.:) I hope your scan goes well and you feel a little bit more confident xxx

Do watch anxiety in pregnancy and if you feel it too overwhelming do mention it to the midwife, as often all the change in hormones can leave you feeling pretty rubbish sometimes xxx

EnterACloud · 14/06/2022 18:54

Thank you Leila for being so kind especially given your worries today. How are you feeling now?

babyjellyfish · 14/06/2022 19:17

@Moosh18 Thinking of you today xxx

@Leila2022 Will you go to the EPU tomorrow?

Leila2022 · 14/06/2022 19:29

That’s quite okay
I have been really pessimistic about this pregnancy from the beginning … so not to get my hopes up and become too attached.. so any positive outcome will be a lovely surprise :)

Just take it easy… the anxiety is really awful but once you have your 12 week scan and see everything is perfectly fine you will relax a lot more :). Also if you are feeling sick and tired that also gets you down and can make anxiety feel a lot worse

keep me posted and I’m sure everything will be alright xxx

Leila2022 · 14/06/2022 19:31

Yes I’m going tomorrow first thing in the morning
I hope it’s because I was constipated last night - this happened before but it was just brown spotting before .. this was dark red and a blob of it… the progesterone seems to have stopped the bleeding but that really just masks anything that could be a problem :(. So I’m not expecting much to be honest but felt that way all of this pregnancy :(
