@pregnancydiaries I went from 2:30 to 8:30 with increased movements, then 8:30 to now with reduced (getting movements, though). First time a midwife has suggested to not come in and see how it goes! I can’t tell if it’s reassuring or worrying. 😅 but baby is still reacting to music from my phone, think they are a bit pooped out. Serves me right for having a day cooped up on the sofa over a common cold.

That's really interesting @EarlGreywithLemon ,i would've thought by this stage we would feel a full rotation but clearly not always!

@GrowBabyGrow and @Vimto1991 these babies are keeping us on our toes already haha! Hope everything OK for both of you. I'm getting uncomfortable movements today, had a knee (?) sticking out earlier which was a bit odd haha

I've been referred for a scan so they can double check all is ok. And then a clinic appointment to work out if we need a 'plan' going forward. Not a ton of clarity on what the plan might be but I guess it depends on the scan? The doctor did say though that if the scan is ok and there are no more change in movements then birth centre is still on the table. It's still a bit confusing and worrying why these movements changes are happening though

I am with you guys on the symptom spotting re: labour as well lol. Start of the journey was “is X a symptom of pregnancy”, followed by “is X a symptom of miscarriage” (bloody early pregnancy bleeding!), and now it’s “is X a symptom of labour” 😂😂

Also my pregnancy insomnia is back lately and it’s so frustrating as I’m so tired in the day but guaranteed every night I’ll be wide awake for about 2-3 hours. 😫

@GrowBabyGrow & @Vimto1991 Sorry to hear you've had confusing movements too. Grow baby your experience sounds similar to mine- when's your scan? Mine is Monday morning, I'm meant to be in for daily CTG's until then but baby is back to normal movements from yesterday so not sure I need one today... I'll assess later, it's just it takes like 3 hours out of the day and this is potentially our last weekend as a 3...

From Monday (38+5) I'm going to start actively trying to get this baby out, DH is pleased sex is potentially back on the table 😂

I had a dream last night that we had to go into hospital, really vivid. I was in the bath and all of a sudden the water turned red, so I got out and I was just bleeding ☹️. Made me glad I've packed a bag though, when I woke up I was so relieved. It made me think through, I need to do a bag for my daughter for whoever looks after her. In the dream we just grabbed the hospital bag, then were running round the house trying to sort out the things she would need.

@Octoblockisadick yes that is a point! I need to pack a bag for my little boy too. Going to do that today.
Sorry to read about your vivid dream. It’s supposed to be quite a common thing to have vivid dreams at this stage of pregnancy 😖

My movements went wild last night also, she's never ever moved that much I couldn't sleep!

I feel like absolute crap today as well, I feel sick which I haven't in months and just generally run down. Don't actually feel like I'd have the energy to go into Labour today!

@Prema112 hopefully will get a call first thing Monday with a time. So shouldn't be too long to wait. Going in really does take a chunk out of the day doesn't it?! All these things I never knew before getting pregnant. Good to hear baby is back to normal movements after yesterday!

It’s been a tough couple of days for us ladies. Not long now. Let’s “push” through this weekend and see what Monday brings.

I actually woke up with a bit of energy this morning and I’ve cleaned the downstairs. That’s me for the rest of the day. Burnt myself out. Silly woman!

on another note I managed to get some omeprazole for the heart burn. Is it supposed to work straight away? I’ve taken it 2 days and it seems worse at night time although I’m not waking up to drink my gaviscon which is great.

Anyone else absolutely starving !!! I want to eat everything in sight but then feel guilty for eating all this shit !!!!

@Prema112 thanks! Not moving as much today so the rave in my belly must be over. Odd a few babies here did this same time! Wonder if it’s babies last hurrah before exiting the womb. 😅 all I know is, it doesn’t take a lot to get me anxious about movements now!

@DaimDillyDoo I could have wrote that so you have my sympathy. Baby partying like crazy, I’ve been feeling so sick, no energy. If baby comes right now I’m gonna need a lot of red bull. 🤦‍♀️

anyone been getting loose stools? I seem to be getting a 2am trip followed by numerous times in the day. I googled and it said labour could be near, but like… how near? 👀
really didn’t want a whole day on the sofa so doing housework to benefit me and baby which has calmed down their movements, however, I keep having to stop as keep going really faint and out of breath. 😩 finished packing my maternity bag, cleaned the bathroom, hoovered up, did laundry… it’s not even 12. 🙈

@Vimto1991 I've had loose stools for a couple of days now and no sign of anything... It makes a change from the chronic constipation I've had all pregnancy

@Vimto1991 unfortunately I’ve had loose stools for about a fortnight but nothing yet. 😫

I can't decide if I'm getting crampy type feelings or if it's just baby stretching in there. Every so often my lower stomach feels a bit crampy, but I really can't tell if it is a cramp or just a random movement. I know people compare early cramps to period pains, however I've historically had horrific periods with pains that have required days off work/ not being able to move/ vomiting whenever they happen, so a mild crampy /squeezey feeling isn't something I would usually associate with a period.

Also, we are nearly full again! Is it time to think about thread 12?

@Octoblockisadick Likewise about the cramps. Sometimes it's feeling like baby moving and other times it's like a cramp, I'm struggling to tell the difference 😩

@Octoblockisadick same here, felt really uncomfortable with cramps and a lot of… ahem… rectal pressure 😳 but baby was moving a lot. I started getting excited and butterflies as I thought labour was due to start. Nothing 😬😖😅

@CurryandSnuggle yep, mine stopped when I went to sleep too.
Was fairly frequent until then, seemed to be getting stronger and more frequent too, but then nothing.
Hopefully not much longer now though haha

Rectal pressure is very real here @CurryandSnuggle. Has been since about weds so I was sure it was happening but nothing yet....
