I know this is very early but I wanted to start a thread for those with a January 2023 due date.

I got my BFP 2 days ago and am about 4 weeks pregnant today. I already have a little boy born in November 2020 and I’m super excited for him to get a sibling but I know it’s early days and have had 2 early miscarriages in the past so slightly nervous too!

I've been quiet on here all week but still watching the posts as I have been a nervous wreck for my scan today! It's not until 2:30 so still got a few hours to go but still feel sick with nerves!

I contacted mumsnet to withdraw all my messages yesterday morning absolutely convinced I was miscarrying. So they've all vanished now when I need it most 😂

@MrsGrealish I completely understand why you felt that was for the best. Don't worry, lovely. We'll make new message threads and hopefully with good news and lots of celebrating! 🍀🌟

Good luck @brogan12 🍀 Keeping everything crossed for you. Please let us know when you can xxx

brogan12 · 27/05/2022 10:49

@Hana89 Thankyou! I definitely will! I'm more calm this time round, had no pain or bleeding so I hope everything is how it should be! 🤞 the first few weeks are awful arnt they?! The constant worry and stress over every little thing. Hopefully once we reach the 12 week mark we will all be able to relax and enjoy everything a bit more 🌈

MrsGrealish · 27/05/2022 11:21

Thanks for all your messages lovely ladies xx rang epu directly and they booked me in for a scan next Friday. Obviously if I'm in any pain or massive bleeding to go to A@E she didn't seem too worried? And kinda reassuring xx she's all like it's your birthday today! DH is however beside himself with worry

Moosh18 · 27/05/2022 11:39

@MrsGrealish awwwww it's your birthday!!! Happy birthday!!!! I had bleeding well spotting from pinkish brown to red, for about ten days! They said it's normal! You can also have bleeds next to the baby! I've read soooooo much about bleeding these past few weeks, I will say when I had my Mc too as soon as I started bleeding the lines started fading, so if you had miscarried and had stoped bleeding the lines would not be strong, my lines were negative by the time the bleeding stopped xxx

Janey3090 · 27/05/2022 11:49

I second Hana's comment on fluctuating symptoms. On Monday I was panicking as my symptoms seemed to disappear, aka I didn't feel sick anymore, boobs didn't hurt, but when I had a scan yesterday (for a cyst I have) the sonographer showed me my baby with a perfect heartbeat measuring 7+6.

Fluctuating symptoms can be for so many reasons (even down to what you've managed to eat, if you've slept etc) but very rarely does it mean that something is wrong with the baby ❤

MrsGrealish · 27/05/2022 12:10

@Moosh18 thank you for the birthday wishes!! Still am convinced something isn't right coz I don't know why tests are getting darker and the bleeding is ongoing (5 days now) but at least a professional is on the case now xx

Update - just seen baby with a flickering heart beat, they’ve put me a week behind lmp dates which I expected due to late ovulation, however they did say go on nhs dates. Feel so relieved!
couldnt see any reason for bleed she’s said it’s so common and really normal

Hope this is a little reassuring for anyone else experiencing brown/pink spotting. I even saw a tiny bit of red at one point

MrsGrealish · 27/05/2022 13:00

@281717O am so pleased for you xx what a relief! Love a tiny heartbeat 💗

Moosh18 · 27/05/2022 14:12

@281717O I've had the same was awful!

I've got a few cramps today! Not had them in weeks! Has anyone else still got them? I'm 8 weeks x

281717O · 27/05/2022 14:25

So scary isn’t it!
when I first saw it it didn’t phase me as I’ve had bleeding in both pregnancies but it kept going and coming back. Trying not too think about it until 12 weeks and then I’ll be thinking about ways to hide my belly until 20 weeks haha!

Moosh18 · 27/05/2022 14:35

@281717O will you not announce till 20 weeks!! I won't stand a chance! I'll be showing by 12 weeks! And We are doing a beach holiday all inclusive with the family at 14 weeks so think it'll be a giveaway 😂

brogan12 · 27/05/2022 15:15

Ahhhh just got back from my scan! Little bean is so tiny. Measuring 6w 3d (I only had a miscarriage 7 weeks ago!) and we got to see the little heart beating. Feels like such a relief!

Due January 2023 ❤️

7w6d today and I'm abroad on holiday, noticed a massive increase in nausea and generally not feeling hungry which is so frustrating cause we are in Orlando with sooo many nice food places!! Grateful for the cause but still peeved 😂😂

Just to let you all know that I’m out - third MMC in the space of 9 months. Devastated doesn’t even cut it. But a slight part of me relieved we may actually get some answers now. I feel like I’ve lost myself completely in this process and it’s exhausting. So I just want to wish you all the best for your future pregnancies, keep talking to each other, and take care of yourselves 🤞🏻✨

And for some reassurance regarding symptoms, each MMC has been completely different for me. Do not get hung up on what the symptoms can mean and whether this indicates a healthy pregnancy or not. My first MMC I had horrendous morning sickness, even on the morning of my scan where the baby had stopped growing two weeks before. To another MMC where my symptoms where completely none existent and the baby had stopped growing at an identical gestational age. It really doesn’t mean anything.

Please just be grateful for being pregnant each day. I won’t give up hope that one day I will get there 🌈.

Moosh18 · 27/05/2022 15:20

@mrsgtobe97 oh my gosh so you ovulated straight after Mc??? So glad scan went well! What date did you think you were? X

Moosh18 · 27/05/2022 15:23

@Lifeafterloss22 I am so so sorry, please take care of yourself!! I hope you find answers and happiness soon ❤️

brogan12 · 27/05/2022 15:27

brogan12 · 27/05/2022 15:28

@Moosh18 yup ovulated literally straight away! Even the women doing the ultrasound was shocked as she was the one that confirmed my miscarriage last month! I honestly didn't have a clue how many weeks I was! She said I'll be due around the 18th January!

SweetPeaPods · 27/05/2022 15:52

@brogan12 amazing, so pleased it went well
