I know this is very early but I wanted to start a thread for those with a January 2023 due date.

I got my BFP 2 days ago and am about 4 weeks pregnant today. I already have a little boy born in November 2020 and I’m super excited for him to get a sibling but I know it’s early days and have had 2 early miscarriages in the past so slightly nervous too!

@irongiulia I’m going to use the community midwife at my GP surgery but haven’t rang them yet - last time they told me to wait until I was at least 6 weeks so trying to hold off until then!

Ah that's good to know! Thank you 😘

IvyAndOlives · 28/04/2022 23:23

Hi all I hope you don't mind another! Cautiously positive after previous early losses. I have one child already born Jan 2020. I'm not exactly sure on my dates oops but most likely Jan 2023, hoping a private scan in a few weeks might give me more of an idea! No symptoms at all yet. Hope you're all feeling well! 😀

Hopesandrainbows · 29/04/2022 07:33

Hope I can join 🥰 I got my bfp yesterday at 10dpo and I've already done 4 tests as I can't believe it😂 it's our 2nd baby and taken us 8 months to fall pregnant this time. Our 1st was born in March 2021 but we wanted then close in age. I had a miscarriage with our first so although super excited for a bfp, the anxiety instantly creeps in and I know I will spend a fortune on tests until I am happy with the line progression😂

Got period like cramps like I'm about to have my period but I had that last time and I also bled for a few days with my first and evething turned out fine so thats making me feel a little calmer. Boobs feel a bit achy

Excited to follow all our journeys!

Due January 2023 ❤️

Congratulations ladies, look forward to sharing this journey with all of you 😊

Symptoms wise, a have constant need to wee, am very tired, the feeling you get when food repeats but even if I haven't recently eaten. I feel a bit sick on an empty stomach so trying to keep sipping water, sucking sweets

I moved to seven seas vitamins for pregnancy mainly as they have added ginger and some reviewers feel its helped them with morning sickness, I felt horrific with DD so keen to avoid that if I can. I only moved to them a few days ago no change in nausea for me yet.

Moosh18 · 29/04/2022 09:41

Can I ask a question ladies, I'm 4 weeks and absolutely no pain in boobs at all! I had it bad with DD, o also had horrific sickness but not till 7, but currently I'm not feeling anything apart from the odd cramp which is worrying me xx

IvyAndOlives · 29/04/2022 09:53

I'm the same no symptoms whatsoever. My symptoms with my first came on a bit later so trying to make the most of it xx

Don't worry about lack of symptoms. Still at this stage it's probably all the symptoms you would usually get before your period. With my first the symptoms kicked in at 6 weeks.

Xx

Swale · 29/04/2022 10:27

@Moosh18 I haven’t got any symptoms yet either, don’t worry. With my first baby I had sore boobs from around 4 weeks but I don’t seem have that this time.

I started feeling sick from around 6 weeks last time so I’m expecting that again but I’m aware every pregnancy is different.

Anyone else feeling really ‘wet’ down there? 😳I keep worrying it’s my period and checking but it’s just a watery discharge. I did have symptoms but they seem less today too.

Also anyone else testing everyday? My BFP was Weds on 10dpo, got a slightly stronger line yesterday. DH keeps telling me to wait until the weekend though.. oops!

posting my tests here cause it’s so exciting to share with someone!

TinyBearCub · 29/04/2022 10:36

Can I join? My due date is 8 Jan. Ridiculously early bfp on Weds as this is an IVF pregnancy and I had the strongest feeling it had worked. Three previous losses and lots of complications with my three year old DD so I'm taking it one day at a time and hoping for the best.

Currenyly sat in a&e with suspected broken foot as I fell down the stairs yesterday!

Becca65 · 29/04/2022 12:45

I’ve had this too, kept running to the bathroom to check. Googled it though and it said it can happen and be a sign of early pregnancy - instead of drying up towards what would be the end of your cycle, getting loads of extra discharge

Aah I'm exactly the same 😊 First pregnancy so not sure what to expect but I'm taking reassurance from you ladies!

Birdie95 · 29/04/2022 14:01

I've only just started boob pain at 5 weeks. Has more sickness over week 4 which has subsided now, probably going to come back at some point.

Can I ask a question, when do they do your first scan? I've booked my first midwife appointment through my GP for 8 weeks and don't know whether I need to take my partner or not? I don't want to drag him along if it's just blood/urine tests, but would be devastated if it was a scan and he wasn't there to see the first images?

MightyMouse101 · 29/04/2022 14:18

Tentatively joining if I may.

Hi @Swale Congratulations! I'm in the FB group and have just blurted out about my BPF this morning. I can't keep a secret but I needed some good news after last night's dramas.

Swale · 29/04/2022 15:05

@MightyMouse101 Ohh yes - huge congratulations to you again! Really nice to see another person here from the group. 😊Hope L is feeling better today.

@Birdie95 The NHS do your first scan at roughly 12 weeks. With our trust we receive a letter through the post with the scan appointment after our booking appointment with the midwife.

The booking appointment will be a long talk with the midwife to determine any risk factors and probably urine/blood tests too (my first pregnancy was during lockdown and so my booking appointment was over the phone and I didn’t have urine/bloods done until 12 weeks at my scan appointment but I think it’s standard to do them during the booking appointment instead).

@Swale She seems to be thanks - she's not bothered in the slightest about the inhaler but is not at all happy about the antibiotics. 🤣

Becca65 · 29/04/2022 15:40

Ooh, congratulations Mighty Mouse ! There’s a few of us from the old group it seems!
I wasn’t the lady that made the vests Swales but remember her doing them.

im not really having any symptoms as such, no boob pain, but might be cuz I’m still feeding no1. And I didn’t get too nauseous last time either. Wasn’t allowed to work last time though cuz of covid, so probably Sod’s law, I’ll really suffer this time when I actually have to turn up to work!

Becca65 · 29/04/2022 15:43

Ah, Mighty Mouse, I think you are who I’d replied to about dropping feeds to conceive last week on the 2020 group ? X

MightyMouse101 · 29/04/2022 16:43

@Becca65 Ahhhh, seems like neither of us needed to drop feeds then! Congratulations!

Hopesandrainbows · 29/04/2022 17:48

I really need to stop testing as annoyed this evening that its much lighter but I guess wee more diluted. So hard to wait again for another morning. Time goes so slowly!

mrsgtobe97 · 29/04/2022 19:16

So happy to be joining this thread 😃 after 2 long years of TTC, PCOS and two medicated cycles we finally got our BFP this morning at 11dpo 😭
