I know this is very early but I wanted to start a thread for those with a January 2023 due date.

I got my BFP 2 days ago and am about 4 weeks pregnant today. I already have a little boy born in November 2020 and I’m super excited for him to get a sibling but I know it’s early days and have had 2 early miscarriages in the past so slightly nervous too!

@Confusedmumof4maybe5 i contacted them at 6 weeks, our gp do a booking appointment at 8 weeks. However, we had mine at 7 due to it being consultant led and no midwife led

freckles503 · 25/05/2022 22:30

@Amber17 @Hana89 Just updating you that my repeat hcg was 6600 today (was 2900 when I posted two days ago). Thanks for your replies the other day—it helped calm down my anxiety😁😁

Hana89 · 26/05/2022 07:54

Thank you @Cb31 @Peonies94 and @LemonZestDribbles 😊

@freckles503 That is great news about your HcG! I'm really pleased for you and fingers crossed it will be smooth sailing from here!

281717O · 26/05/2022 08:13

That’s really good news about hcg, I mentioned bleeding to my midwife but she never suggested that. She did take loads of bloods but for other reasons.
we go on holiday next week so I’m thinking a private scan before hand for piece of mind, I should be around 8 weeks (maybe - 5 days due to ovulation) so should be able to see what we’re wanting too!

Moosh18 · 26/05/2022 08:54

Hey ladies sorry, I'm still here! Just had to take a step back these last few week, I've been catching up and glad to see you are all doing well!!

I feel like I'm at breaking point now.... I'm 8 weeks now and will hopefully get an answer today, at a scan....

The doctor ran my hcg bloods in order to calm my nerves, but another doctor has said she shouldn't of done it!

My levels were
6+1 22,100
6+3 23,432

So obviously I am convinced that I have had a MMc and I've had to wait two weeks to be re scanned today, heartbroken doesn't cover it 😩😩😩

LilyKitten · 26/05/2022 08:59

I've also had a few cramps here and there, this morning it's uncomfortable, not really painful just like a dull ache that is getting on my nerves! Most things I've seen suggest this is fairly normal so I'm trying not to worry.

Ah @Moosh18 so sorry that you've been having such a tough time I have been thinking of you. Sending lots of positivity to you today. What time is your scan? How far along are you? X

hopingfor23 · 26/05/2022 09:09

@Moosh18 just read 8 weeks sorry! 🤦‍♀️

Cherrymarket · 26/05/2022 09:09

@Moosh18 that sounds so heartbreakingly stressful. I hope it is positive news today for you.❤️

Moosh18 · 26/05/2022 09:30

@Cherrymarket it's honestly been the worst! It's all the conflicting information! Epu said not to worry at all as an inter uterine pregnancy has been confirmed, another doc said hcg slows down at this point and my numbers are high so again don't worry, and another said the numbers should be increasing much much faster....:

@hopingfor23 it's not till this evening 😩😩 I feel like I know exactly what's going to be said, but I just wish it would happen naturally as I know they will have to refer me to hospital etc it's just going to go on and on x

LilyKitten · 26/05/2022 09:37

Having said that the cramps are getting worse and are quite uncomfortable now. I've just been to the toilet and there's no blood, just usual discharge. Should I be worried? Feels like period pain. Don't know if I'm winding myself up and worrying about nothing.

Sassy144 · 26/05/2022 09:43

@LilyKitten I've had cramps on and off throughout my pregnancy so far, I'm 7 weeks now. They feel quite uncomfortable sometimes like period pain.

Thank you. Been talking to my SIL and she said the same (her little girl is 6 months old now) so hopefully it's nothing. I'm naturally an anxious person so every little twinge is making me worry!

Somatronic · 26/05/2022 10:57

@Moosh18 I'm so sorry that you've had such a stressful time. Sounds awful for you. Hopefully everything will go well for you today.

I had an early scan today (the IVF clinic provides it as standard) and everything looked normal so I'm very relieved. I'm 8 weeks today. My morning sickness had disappeared so I had sort of disassociated myself from the pregnancy in case it was bad news, but all was good. It does explain the crushing exhaustion though, in fairness.

Hana89 · 26/05/2022 11:17

@Moosh18 I am so sorry for what you have been going through and have been thinking of you and wondering how you're getting on. Please do update us after the scan as and when you can and know that we are all sending positive hopeful vibrations to you 💖🍀 xxxxx

Sassy144 · 26/05/2022 11:36

@LilyKitten I'm the same, today I'm worrying about lack of symptoms 🙈

LilyKitten · 26/05/2022 11:37

@Sassy144 Part of me is saying it's fine and the other part is worrying about everything! I hate the uncertainty.

dollface22 · 26/05/2022 14:35

@Sassy144 that's me ! I have metallic taste everyday and sore boobs ! But apart from that I feel I'm the same !

Sassy144 · 26/05/2022 16:33

@LilyKitten I've just booked an early scan to hopefully give me some reassurance!

@dollface22 funnily enough I think I've just got a metallic taste out of nowhere so maybe this is a new symptom for me. My boobs feel a bit tender again when they didn't earlier so I'm hoping I was worried for no reason 🙈

I had a MC in January so I'm overly anxious!

LemonZestDribbles · 26/05/2022 16:49

@roarfeckingroarr congratulations!! I think we might be on the same fbook group for our dc. I recognise your username. I've have a nc since then.

@Moosh18 you must be so stressed. I hope everything goes okay tonight ❤

@Somatronic so glad your scan went okay!

I feel absolutely awful today. Like really bad flu and feeling sick. Think ill go to bed not long after ds tonight. Thankfully my dh is home tomorrow so he can do the nightshift tomorrow as ds is teething.

ZoeG22 · 26/05/2022 16:59

Hi, I'm due January 27 ☺️ how's everyone doing? I've had a few symptoms like tiredness and breathlessness, couple of queasy spells but nothing too bad. Not feeling pregnant at all today (which is a blessing and a curse! 🙈)

winsones · 26/05/2022 17:04

I'm 6w5d today and I feel exhausted! Nausea has ramped up so just ordered some sickness wristbands which worked in my first pregnancy.
Been hungry all day but everything I looked at I really didn't want 🤢
Also, my memory was terrible today 😳

281717O · 26/05/2022 17:12

I feel dizzy and skin is quite spotty which is unusual for me. Strangely boobs don’t hurt one bit!
more brown/pinky discharge today, spent the last 4 hours begging epu to see me… waste of time!
tried to book a private scan but everywhere is booked until after the jubilee and we fly then!
trying not to worry as bleeding is very sporadic, no pain and only once every few days. Anyone else had this?

Gosi · 26/05/2022 18:58

Hi
i also have had a pinkish/ brownish discharge but only when I wipe, I am 7 weeks and don’t remember having anything like this is in my previous pregnancies.
it’s only very small discharge but it still worries me.
regards
goshia

Moosh18 · 26/05/2022 19:28

I can't believe I'm saying this, but all was perfect! Measured bang on to the day with a perfect heartbeat of 154bpm! I'm in total shock
