I know this is very early but I wanted to start a thread for those with a January 2023 due date.

I got my BFP 2 days ago and am about 4 weeks pregnant today. I already have a little boy born in November 2020 and I’m super excited for him to get a sibling but I know it’s early days and have had 2 early miscarriages in the past so slightly nervous too!

Hi,

Congratulations @Swale!! I hope everything processes well for you ❤

My date is hopefully 4th Jan if this little one sticks.

We got an early positive, we had IVF for this one as we had 2 ectopics previously, we have one teen dd. This little bean has been wanted for such a long time. Its our one and only chance so praying with all my heart its safe and in the right place, very nervous but brimming with happiness at the same time so surreal ❤🌈

LouiseD2018 · 26/04/2022 13:56

Progresses not processes!

Moosh18 · 26/04/2022 14:00

Hey! I've just gotten a positive. think I'm due early jan, I'm so terrified of another MC I don't feel like I can accept I am pregnant!

Hope you are all doing well x

Moosh18 · 26/04/2022 16:06

Has anyone else been having random pains or cramps x

PurpleSpottedLeopard · 26/04/2022 18:34

Hi,

Congratulations everyone! I’m due 1st of Jan and would love to join the thread. Feeling very nervous so would love some people to chat to. I still can’t quite believe it but I just called my GP and saying it out loud definitely made it feel a bit more real.

@Moosh18 yes to random pains and cramps, today it almost feels like I’ve pulled a muscle.

Hope you’re all feeling ok.

MardyBumm · 26/04/2022 18:45

Congratulations everyone! I got my positive last week and if all goes well it looks like I'll be due last few days of December but thought I'd join this group as more likely they'll come along then. Perhaps wishful thinking as I don't want their birthday overshadowed by Christmas 😁I hope you're all feeling OK...to the previous poster who asked...I'm having a few random cramps every now and again. Fingers crossed for us all.

Moosh18 · 26/04/2022 18:53

I know poor Christmas babies! I think I'm due 8th jan by my math! But will be a section at 38 weeks due to medical reasons, ThAts Christmas Day! Assuming it won't be then but it would be close to Xmas! All being well! X

Swale · 26/04/2022 19:31

Congratulations to you all! I’m kinda liking the idea of a Christmas baby! I think I’m due on the 2nd January.

No pains or anything for me yet. Hope everyone is okay!

Congratulations everyone and good luck to you all!!

I had a lot of cramping during implantation- I only know that what it was for me as when they transferred our embryo they said implantation should happen within 24 hours.
Since then a couple of occasional cramps or twinges like pinches.

I'm constantly weeing, have been waking at 3am 3 nights on the trot feeling like my bladder is going to burst!!

Becca65 · 27/04/2022 12:01

Hi. Congratulations all!
Ive only just properly found out yesterday - would have a due date of 2nd Jan, though I know I’d probably need an early induction again, so might end up being December.

my little bit was November 2020 too Swales!!

Becca65 · 27/04/2022 12:02

I’m due 2nd Jan, but will prob need an induction again, and from how far they pushed me along last time I’d be Xmas day too!

Oh wow! Are you in the Nov 2020 babies mumsnet Facebook group?

I was induced early last time too so there’s a chance I’ll have a December baby as well.

I am in a nov 2020 Facebook group! -are you? I haven’t put anything on there as only really got more than a fully ‘squint at it line’ yesterday. We had been trying a few months but finally got lucky this month. Feeling very lucky as was thinking I’d need to fully get little man off the boob and have eventually managed with still one feed a day!

Littlebean23 · 27/04/2022 16:41

@Becca65 Yes I am, I’m Hollie from the group. Are you the lady I bought a Father’s day vest from last year? Lovely to see someone else from that group on here!

Congratulations all! I am due 3rd Jan 2023 (first pregnancy), currently experiencing some bloating & weirdly I am thirsty all the time! Has anyone already self-referred to the maternity services?

Moosh18 · 28/04/2022 08:27

@irongiulia oh my gosh, I'm the same!!! I'm so so bloated and literally so thirsty all the time! X

Swale · 28/04/2022 09:02

@irongiulia I’m going to use the community midwife at my GP surgery but haven’t rang them yet - last time they told me to wait until I was at least 6 weeks so trying to hold off until then!

Thanks for that! I am fairly new to the Uk so trying to understand how everything works ^^

PurpleSpottedLeopard · 28/04/2022 10:17

@irongiulia I rang my gp at the beginning of this week and they gave me a number to call for the community midwives so I’m planning on calling them today or tomorrow.

Yes to feeling bloated!

Birdie95 · 28/04/2022 10:55

Has anyone else found that different apps calculate different due dates?
I've 4 weeks +6 days... due on either 30th Dec, 31st Dec or 2nd Jan!? Who knows...It'll be interesting to see if it's 2022 or 2023 though.

Congratulations to everyone! I've had mild cramping all this week, but is definitely slowing down now I'm approaching 5 weeks.

Cb31 · 28/04/2022 11:42

Hi all, hope it's ok to join. I got a really really faint positive line this morning, so have just done a digital test and it says Pregnant 🥰. So lovely to see it in words. I have a little boy who is 2 in June. I had a MMC in Dec/Jan, ended up having a surgical procedure. So really hope it's ok this time 🤞. Due 6th Jan. Ive only used the NHS pregnancy calculator. Hope everyone is doing ok xxx

Janey3090 · 28/04/2022 13:18

Hi everyone, can I join please? Cautiously excited after getting my first ever BFP yesterday (after 18 months of trying!!), this is mine and DH first baby. My Premom app predicts due date as 2nd Jan, while NHS website is 5th Jan so either way looking like early Jan if this little one sticks 😊❤xx

MardyBumm · 28/04/2022 17:51

Congratulations everyone. So lovely to hear all your news. My least favourite pregnancy symptom so far is a giant red nose 🤡 I'm pretty pale, almost translucent, so this is not a good look for me!
