I know this is very early but I wanted to start a thread for those with a January 2023 due date.

I got my BFP 2 days ago and am about 4 weeks pregnant today. I already have a little boy born in November 2020 and I’m super excited for him to get a sibling but I know it’s early days and have had 2 early miscarriages in the past so slightly nervous too!

Could it have been diluted if you’ve been drinking and weeing loads @MightyMouse101 ??

Moosh18 · 30/04/2022 19:35

@MightyMouse101 I've tested sooo many times since finding out! And I had some that went sooo faint, and it was just as it was later in the day they next morning they would be dark again, but doesnt stop me freaking out! Try to have a limit, I have one Frer left and that's it! I'm stopping!

LouiseD2018 · 30/04/2022 20:02

@MightyMouse101 it definitely could just be diluted time of day and drinking lots. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

MightyMouse101 · 30/04/2022 20:03

@Becca65 I expect it was very diluted. Doesn't stop my brain going into overdrive. 😂

@Moosh18 That's very reassuring thanks and good idea to set a limit! I've got 2 digitals arriving tomorrow as I want to see it in black and white, then that's it. I swear.

I wasn't this bad last time, even after the MMC. 🤔

MightyMouse101 · 30/04/2022 20:03

Thanks @LouiseD2018

MightyMouse101 · 30/04/2022 20:41

@PurpleSpottedLeopard Thank you.

Has anyone told anybody yet? Last time I waited until I was 12 weeks before I even mentioned it to parents/in-laws but I’m going on a family holiday in 3 weeks and I’m thinking I’m going to have to mention it to them as they’ll all be wondering why I’m not drinking. Also, if this pregnancy is anything like my previous one it’ll be prime time for morning sickness to kick in.

I've told my mum already but otherwise we're going to wait until after the 12 week scan. I may need to tell my best friend next weekend though as we have a spa day booked and I'm not going to be able to use the sauna or the jacuzzi. She knew we were trying though.

Littlebean23 · 30/04/2022 23:33

@Moosh18 im super thirsty too! And then obviously can't stop peeing. But otherwise no symptoms!

@Swale we've not told anyone trying to wait till the scan but I'm just desperate to tell my mum 🤐

As me and my partner had been very open about our struggles to get pregnant we told his parents the same day we found out and will tell my parents today hopefully, as we would need their support if (god forbid) anything happened!

Cb31 · 01/05/2022 06:07

@Swale I was going to try and wait as long as possible to tell anyone after having a MMC but I stayed with my parents last night and me and my mum love having a few glasses of prosecco so it was really obvious when I wasn't drinking.

Is anyone thinking of having an early private scan? Think I might book one for 8 weeks.

Moosh18 · 01/05/2022 06:31

@Cb31 yeah we are doing one at seven 🤞 if we get there!! Xx

mrsgtobe97 · 01/05/2022 06:48

Of course I tested 🙃 haha 13DPO and I think the line is a bit stronger than it was yesterday morning and hasn't dried yet either

@mrsgtobe97 that looks great!

I’m going slightly insane myself this morning as I got 2-3 weeks on a digital last Sunday and then 2-3 again this morning. I’ve reassured myself endlessly with the levels it changes at but I still really wanted to see 3+.

@Swale we haven’t told anyone yet. Trying to hold out until we’ve had a scan but I’m desperate to tell my parents!

@Cb31 I think we will book an early scan. I’m desperate to now that everything is going as ok as it can be.

When would you all recommend booking an early scan for? This is my first pregnancy and I’m not really sure what to expect.?

hopingfor23 · 01/05/2022 08:21

Hi all I've been lurking but officially joining you now after a digital! Here's my frer and IC this morning at 12dpo 😀 congrats to everyone - excited to share our journeys ❤️ I think I'll be sue around 12th January! X

Sassy144 · 01/05/2022 08:26

Hello everyone! Tentatively joining as I got a BFP this morning at 11dpo. I had a MC in January so really hoping this is my rainbow 🌈 my app says I'm due 11 Jan. Have been quite crampy, bloated and tired so far! My line looks a little fainter than some of yours at 11dpo, hopefully it gets stronger 🤞

Cb31 · 01/05/2022 08:33

@Lifeafterloss22 Aww I understand that, i found out about my MMC at a private scan too. Still think I'll have another one though. I want to know as soon as possible if it's not gonna work out. Really trying to not get invested yet but it's so hard. I've already worked out when I would start my mat leave 🤦🏼‍♀️

@PurpleSpottedLeopard I think you can have a scan from 6 weeks (usually they recommend having an internal scan before 10 weeks). Im gonna try and wait till 8 weeks just so there's only 4 weeks after that till the 12 week scan.

Moosh18 · 01/05/2022 08:47

These are my tests up to today... when will people stop testing I used my last this morning, but my mind is saying buy more!!

@Cb31 I'm sorry for your loss, I had. mc previously and it has really scared me, I can't imagine this pregnancy being successful after that.... I'm trying to tell myself, surely we are more likely that it will now, having had a loss x
