I know this is very early but I wanted to start a thread for those with a January 2023 due date.

I got my BFP 2 days ago and am about 4 weeks pregnant today. I already have a little boy born in November 2020 and I’m super excited for him to get a sibling but I know it’s early days and have had 2 early miscarriages in the past so slightly nervous too!

How many DPO is everyone? I'm 12dpo today I think and this was my tests, top is 11dpo bottom is today, I expected a darker line but not sure why cos it's only been a day, my paranoia is through the roof 😅

The bottom one does look darker @mrsgtobe97 I remember from my ectopic they said HCG doubles around every 48-36 hours, so worth taking a day or two break in between testing to see the difference.

I'm 4 weeks 4 days according to the Emma's diary app. My early scan is in 13 days should be just over 6 weeks all being well 🙏🤞🌈.

If I understood correctly if everything is good at the scan I think we are discharged from ivf clinic to NHS, I didn't have my dd in this area so not sure how it all works re midwife apps. I'm going to contact GP after the 6 week scan so I know all is well. Very nervous after 2 ectopics but testing positive onetime and good symptoms is hopefully a good sign 🤞🌈

On time not one time!

Aw everything crossed for you ❤️❤️ thank you, it is drying darker too which is giving me some relief but I'm just so anxious. I'll test tomorrow and see what happens but I'm so para the line will disappear! we were with the fertility clinic and did medicated cycles so we are getting an early scan at 6w6d on 19th May, just everything crossed until then.

MightyMouse101 · 30/04/2022 08:35

@mrsgtobe97 The bottom line looks darker to me too. I'm 14 dpo.

I'm worrying about my period starting tomorrow and having another MMC so I think I need to try to relax.

That's a good reminder about HCG doubling every few days - I need to actually make note of that as I test again and again and worry about line progression 🤣

Becca65 · 30/04/2022 08:48

I’m 16 dpo today. My first positive test was Monday (11dpo), but very very feint.

next 2 days not much change, though then switched to a first response test as their threshold is lower and I was stressing about whether it was a positive or an evap line.
first response tue night was clearly positive, but then last nights one (Friday) was a lot darker - but there had been a whole 3 days between those 2

PurpleSpottedLeopard · 30/04/2022 09:44

@mrsgtobe97 your lines look similar to mine at 11dpo and then I got 2-3 weeks on a clear blue digital a few days later. I think I’m 4 weeks 6 days today going off of my last period.

Can I ask is anyone else feeling completely exhausted? I wasn’t expecting that to kick in yet!

Becca65 · 30/04/2022 10:28

@PurpleSpottedLeopard yup! Sooo sleepy! Plus the pregnancy insomnia has already kicked in to make it worse and I am now wide awake from 4 or 5 am
oh, and my patience level is zero - really struggled at work with that this week 🤣

MightyMouse101 · 30/04/2022 11:00

@PurpleSpottedLeopard Me too, but I'm tired after being in hospital all night on Thursday with my little girl and now we're waking her multiple times a night for her meds, so don't know if it's pregnancy related or just general exhaustion.

Becca65 · 30/04/2022 11:11

How is your little girl now? @MightyMouse101 you’ve certainly had an eventful week!

MightyMouse101 · 30/04/2022 11:26

@Becca65 She's on the mend thanks, although still incredibly wheezy. Her consultant appointment and X-ray are on Tuesday so that's quite timely (we've been waiting for this appointment since July!) - hopefully we might get some clarity on what's going on. 🤞🏻

Aw ace, hoping for 2-3 on Monday on the clear blue digital. Took an clear blue early detection and got this with second morning urine so I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic 😅 just so scared the lines won't darken.

PurpleSpottedLeopard · 30/04/2022 14:31

@Becca65 completely agree about work being a struggle this week! I dread to think what I’ll be like in a few weeks…

@MightyMouse101 I hope that your little girl is ok.

@mrsgtobe97 fingers crossed for you. I wasn’t expecting 2-3 weeks as early as I got it but I’m hoping it’s a good sign.

mrsgtobe97 · 30/04/2022 15:48

What's everyone's symptoms so far? I don't have much at all apart from being so hungry and even hungrier once I eat! And odd wave of heartburn 😅

Moosh18 · 30/04/2022 17:12

@mrsgtobe97 none really apart from massive amounts of bloating! Making me look pregnant 🙄 I'm really thirsty a lot!

I can't tell if I'm bloated or if it's just chub 😂. How far along are you?

Moosh18 · 30/04/2022 17:30

Only 4 and a half weeks 😩😩😩 I tested positive at 8dpo so it's literally dragging!

I'm not too far behind you!! I feel the exact same and only found out yesterday at 11dpo 😂😂😂 we are in for a long road haha. I feel like once I've had my scan I'll feel better, just riddled with anxiety atm

Moosh18 · 30/04/2022 17:43

@mrsgtobe97 when are you having your scan? Are you doing a private one? Think we might at 7 weeks xx

Our scan is on 19th May and I should be just over 6 weeks I think, we were with an nhs fertility clinic as we struggled for 2 years to get pregnant due to PCOS, so we started ovulation induction / medicated cycles, this 2nd one worked 😁 so because of that they give an early scan which I'm so thankful for

Tell me I'm a fool. I took another pregnancy test this afternoon and it was pretty faint. But I've been hideously thirsty today and am peeing for England, so it's hardly surprising, but it still makes me very anxious. Not sure why I did it.
