Evening ladies, so pleased that my scan went well. I started crying when the sonograoher told me she could see the heartbeat. Baby is measuring ahead by 5 days at the moment.

Ironically it was the same sonograoher that I had last summer when we found out about the mmc, she even remembered me.

Fingers crossed for a low risk nipt.

Got my booking appointment on Monday then my nhs scan the week after.

@Orcarain your post made me chuckle. Hopefully baby behaves for your next scan

@Pinkfig made us chuckle too. Don’t know what I was expecting, but I didn’t think we’d be able to see any movement this early on (10+5) It’s left me absolutely buzzing!

@Laughingmole thank you. My results came through the App today. 1 in 8,500 for Down’s and 1 in 73,000 for Edward’s and Patau’s. I am very pleased with those odds at almost 33 and overweight! 😄

On a team retreat tonight and tomorrow, I've managed to keep the retching/mini boak to my own hotel room and not in front of any of the work colleagues but it's only a matter of time. I need to survive breakfast tomorrow- the most dangerous textural food meal! Eek!

I had something similar when I was about 5 weeks. Thankfully the nausea hadn't kicked in yet but my plan was to go down and get some toast or something then take it back to my room claiming some urgent work thing I needed to do before the first session...

Good morning, been lurking on this thread for a while and its been so reassuring thought it was time i said hello.

I'm 10w2d but at my private scan sunday measuring 3 days ahead so due around 23rd december. Its our 2nd pregnancy after mc 3 years ago, never managed to fall again but somehow got a bfp after our first round of ivf which i feel so lucky for as i know its unusual and so many go through multiple rounds.

Really nauseous, low energy and this week heartburn is my new nemesis.

Luckily working from home as none of my clothes fit but feels way too early to be buying maternity wear so mostly living in trackies which doesn't make me feel particularly attractive.

First trimester is a lot harder than i expected 🥴

Well it’s finally here, after 3(!) private scans, my official NHS dating scan (and hopefully an announcement to wider family/friends if everything goes well) is today.

I am a bag of nerves, please send good thoughts my way today. Hopefully be back on later with a good update 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Morning ladies, is anyone else got a huge bump already? I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and been in maternity clothes since 5 weeks 🙈. Had two scans to confirm there is only 1 but I'm convinced there must be more given how big my bump is so early! I had to announce it last week due to not being able hide it any more!

@tasha4eva10 I do feel I have a bit of a bump, but I don't know if its just bloating or what since its so early but my belly deffo is bigger than before. And I've not gained weight or anything! I thought the exact same as you, regarding twins! I haven't had to get maternity clothes yet but been living in loose/stretchy clothing! I'm 10.5 weeks!

@tasha4eva10 yup! I've had a noticeable bump from about 8 weeks (it is my 3rd though!)
It's nice to not have to wear baggy tops to hide it anymore!

Had my scan yesterday ladies and our little rainbow baby is doing well 🌈🤍 measured 13 weeks yesterday so moved forward 4 days! Any nub/skull theorists comments welcome 😂 I'm dying to find out already!

@tasha4eva10 Im same!!! Bloated like mad since 7wks and now am 10+2 and just living in maternity clothes and baggy stuff... keep weighing myself but no weight gain its mental!!
God knows how Im gunna hide it another 3 weeks til dating scan 😳😳🙈🙈

I've managed to gain 12 lb. No idea how as I've been careful and not had that much if a appetite. At this point I'm hoping it's twins so I can explain it! I might join slimming world

Sad news my end. Scan this morning showed it had stopped growing 2 weeks ago and no heartbeat.

Hi all, has anyone else experienced bleeding? I am 12w 5 and saw a healthy baby on my scan on Monday. However, this morning I had a gush of blood and don’t have my appointment with the EPU until this evening. Feeling very anxious!

@PennyFarthing30 That must be really worrying, there was another lady on here I'm so sorry I can't remember who, she described a "gushing" type of blood and had a scan and was ok. Hope all is ok and your appt this evening goes well!

My news is a bit... mixed. I've had a second inconclusive NIPT. The doctor said that this can indicate an issue with the baby. I'm having a third sample done tomorrow, and then depending on results, in 2 weeks I might be having an early detailed anatomy scan and an amnio. I've cried for most of the morning. I'm 13 weeks today, woke up so positive for the second trimester and feel like I'm being smacked down now.
