Thanks everyone, it's really hard, my OH has taken time off work so we've got each other to lean on.

Make sure you take as much time as you need @Cheetocat. It really takes its toll on you and only you know when you're 'ready' to start tackling the world xx

rickandmorts · 22/04/2022 20:55

@ChasingRainbows22 @roobearbaby My due date is 13th Nov too. Haven't been on this thread for a while as I've been so sick but will try keep up a bit more now.

@Cheetocat I'm really sorry to hear your news, wishing you health and happiness for the future. X

Kathno4 · 22/04/2022 21:28

@Cheetocat sending you love and healing, I’m so sorry 😞💖

FlowerJ · 22/04/2022 23:32

Hey everyone, just catching up with messages as I logged off for a few days.
Felt shocking, started with this cold/flu virus last week and then Wednesday started with blood stained discharge, cramping, pain.. turns out I have a bad water infection so on antibiotics 🥴 Still barely any pregnancy symptoms though! 😔

@AbbiL0u Yes I'm a money worrier at the best of times but all the price hikes plus baby plus the fact our rent is extortionate and we now need a bigger car is making my anxiety SO BAD. That plus mat pay based off a part time wage. I don't deal with change very well and all this isnt helping 🥴

@Cheetocat I'm so sorry to hear your news 😔 Sending you all lots of love ❤️

NotAdultingToday · 23/04/2022 13:47

@Cheetocat i am so sorry too, look after yourself. Its good that your husband is off with you so you can support each other.

OtiMama · 23/04/2022 14:02

Sorry I'm so behind on here, harder to keep up with a toddler.

@Cheetocat sending you hugs, so sorry to hear this. Glad you have each other supporting.

teddy2806 · 23/04/2022 16:11

Hi everyone, just catching up on this thread.

@Cheetocat so sorry to hear your news, sending you lots of hugs your way. Xx

RhiRhi1988 · 23/04/2022 18:20

Probably going to jump off here now too.
I knew my pregnancy wasn’t right from
the beginning with falling and rising HCG and now with 3 empty sacs. My last scan to confirm viability would be next week on Tuesday. But the bleeding has started today.
I wish you all happy healthy pregnancies.
Hopefully my time will come soon x

AbbiL0u · 23/04/2022 18:31

Huge hugs @RhiRhi1988, have everything crossed for you in the future and hope you’re as okay as you can be. Lots of love 💕

FlowerJ · 23/04/2022 22:12

@RhiRhi1988 I'm so sorry to hear this 😔 Take care of yourself. Sending you lots of love and baby dust xxx

ALittleBitofVitriol · 24/04/2022 11:29

So sorry to hear the sad news @Cheetocat and @RhiRhi1988 .

I'll be 12 weeks this week, hoping the nausea/tiredness settles down. I felt better for a couple of days, over did it, and ended up in bed for 2 days, twice. Trying very hard to make sure I rest. I have my booking in phone call later this week. Just keeping so busy with life stuff, still can't quite believe we're having another baby!

Brailsbaby · 24/04/2022 15:30

I’m so sorry to see quite a few ladies have experience a miscarriage. I hope you all take the time to heal… it’s devastating and having been there myself know how difficult it is..sending lots of love 💕

I’m 11 weeks now and still feeling nauseous, hungover and being sick. I’ve been put on a second lot of medicines which has reduced the sickness but left me feeling really spaced out/hungover. Just so uncomfortable, I thought this would have eased by now.

anyone else in the same situation?

sarahj878 · 24/04/2022 19:26

So sorry to hear about your miscarriages @Cheetocat @RhiRhi1988, Hope you have lots of support around you.

@Brailsbaby I’m just over 9 weeks and feel nauseous most days especially afternoon onward. It was suggested I go on tablets a couple of times but have so far avoided. My booking in appt showed I’d lost weight. I’m struggling to enjoy any food bar fruit at the moment and am glad I can eat fruit because even looking at a glass of water sends me to the loo heaving. I’ve managed a proper lunch today but then had heartburn this afternoon which I also had with my son. My nausea wasn’t as bad with my son but I was very tired until well into second trimester and I’m shattered at the mo most days.

Cocobeau · 24/04/2022 20:08

@Brailsbaby yep. I’m 10 weeks now and had the nausea pretty much non stop bar an hour every morning since week 4. I’m lucky that I haven’t actually been sick yet but I’m sooo tired all the time and recently feeling really weak when I’m just out walking, like I’ve got nothing in me. I normally miles each day and have loads of energy so it sucks that I struggle with a short easy walk. We had a day out at the beach today and I was miserable because I felt so awful, just wanted to get back home to bed. Stopped at a cafe to grab some water and happened to notice their ice cream sign. Something in me screamed out to by an orange Calippo (not had one since I was a kid) and it was like this amazing relief from the nausea. I felt so much better! The nausea did return a while after but it was so nice to have that little break. I sense I’ll be in Sainsbury’s ice cream department at 8am tomorrow.

Brailsbaby · 24/04/2022 20:21

@sarahj878 the tablets haven’t helped me at all, they make me so drowsy and I have to go to sleep… so me taking them in the hope I could get back to work hasn’t really helped. I don’t know what’s worse tbh the nausea or the sickness, I think at least with being sick you get relief for an hour or so after unlike the nausea where it’s constant.

@Cocobeau lollies had seemed to help me especially when I was being sick so much I couldn’t keep water down. That and sucking on ice cubes are the only thing that have helped me keep fluid down.

I feel like a rubbish mum and wife atm, not able to do anything, can’t even go out in the car without being sick so feeling useless to say the least!

FlowerJ · 24/04/2022 20:26

@Brailsbaby I know what you mean about feeling useless. I laid in bed until 11.30am this morning then found a bit of energy and put on 3 washes, went for walk around the block with my 2 y/o and that was it! Back in bed by 2pm shattered and not been able to do anything else 😴 I feel bad for my OH and my kids x

Kathno4 · 24/04/2022 20:37

Guys reading your messages at least I feel I’m not alone, constantly nauseous and tired, forever thinking about my next sleep break and stayed in bed til 2pm yesterday, feeling quite low because I’m feeling like a failure.

got a phone call on Friday from scan dep explaining I’d been forgotten about and am being sent to a scan over 44 miles away from home. Followed by lots of bloods due to being high risk and issues in other pregnancies. Then psychiatrist appt on Wednesday.

feeling like i whine so much just really looking forward to the enjoyable stage. 13 weeks Tuesday and so ready to smile

Brailsbaby · 24/04/2022 21:03

@FlowerJ - yeah I can relate to this 100%. I’m really missing my little girl, she’s at nursery all day, then when she comes home I just don’t have the energy and with her climbing over me it makes me feel so sick.

@Kathno4 I feel like a failure too, not able to work or do much at home, not able to take or pickup my girl from nursery, I feel awful, I’ve not been out the house for a couples of weeks and feel awful.. hoping the sickness and nausea go away soon

smiles39 · 24/04/2022 22:19

@Cocobeau snap with the orange calippo! I made the family take a diversion on our walk last week with a sudden urge for a calippo from the corner shop. Just stocked up on loads in the freezer, it was such a relief from the nausea!

Sorry to hear lots of struggles. But it’s nice to not feel alone, as been feeling really down about being so useless too.

sarahj878 · 24/04/2022 23:40

Haha snap on the calippos, have a freezer drawer full of them and they’re such a welcome relief from nausea.

Kathno4 · 25/04/2022 03:42

I’m sorry you guys are feeling it too. For me watermelon helps my nausea 🍉

OtiMama · 25/04/2022 08:00

I'm also in the feeling rough club. Nearly 10 weeks for me although I know last time I felt fine week 12 but then awful weeks 14 to 17. I just have no energy and spent most of the weekend at home doing nothing.

I also feel bad for my toddler, although he is very easy going so happy to play on his own a lot which does help. I'm glad he's going to my mums today and she has lots of space so I know he will get the chance to run off some energy.

Just wish I didn't have to go to work, would happily stay in bed all day. Hoping this phases soon, I want to get into the feeling good and focused on sorting the house phase. My god is it needed!!

ChasingRainbows22 · 25/04/2022 11:15

So sorry everyone's feeling so rough. It's completely out of your control and just getting through the day is a massive achievement, you're all so strong Star
