Morning ladies! Anyone told work yet? This is my first and I'm feeling so nervous about telling them.

@novella12 I told work 3 weeks ago when I was 7 weeks. I was super anxious about it but I am really glad I did. They were super happy for me

The pregnancy dreams are getting out of control, I had a dream that I was lactating and milk was spraying everywhere. What is going on in my subconscious?

@Cheetocat I had that exact dream a while back. I am on day 11 of covid and my headache is pretty constant today. I've had daily headaches, and apart from day one this is my worst. It could be pregnancy as first time I had migraines from 2nd trimester and today it's mostly right sided and light sensitive. Anyone else suffering headaches. I am at work and may need to go off sick this afternoon or tomorrow.

Anyone else getting absolutely floored by constant colds? I swear I feel like ive been constantly down with something! I'll just be gettin over it then boom hit again! Currently sitting here mouth breathing as my nose has decided it no longer wants to work unless it's streaming like a tap - it's it's look for sure 🤦‍♀️

Afternoon everyone.

I’ve not been on for a while as I was just feeling so constantly nauseous that even thinking about being pregnant set it off! Also been busy with the Easter hols

am 10 weeks now (I think) and my scan is in a week. My booking in appointment was done remotely (that’s how they do it now, apparently) and so was on the phone whilst in the car on the way to England with my 6yo throwing up in the back. Fun times! We still haven’t told the kids and I’m amazed they weren’t more suspicious given that phone call!

I think the nausea is beginning to ease now (touch wood) but still exhausted, emotional and eating for Scotland.

hope everyone else is doing ok. Will now go through the thread and catch up

Can I ask what everyone is doing about growing boobs? I don’t want to invest in anything whilst size is still fluctuating but nothing I have fits 😥

can’t remember what I did with the last two! I only wear non-underwired bras like Molke.

Afternoon all, so i finally had my 12 week scan yesterday, i cant describe the relief to know all was well. Id prepared myself for the worst due to previous experiences, which is one of the reasons I was reluctant to add my name to the due date list.
Turns out the baby measures 13 weeks today.
My due date is 27th October so ill probably be leaving this group. Want to wish you all a happy healthy pregnancy. 💛💐💙🎉

So yesterday i had a bit of a drama, i started bleeding at work (i work in a hospital) so up to a+e i went, then to epu and 5 hours later all is ok. We saw such a clear picture of bubba, they were sucking their thumb (which the doctor said was rare as its so early) and wiggling around it was so cute. She put me at about 10 weeks when i thought i was 9+5. So that is a relief just have to wait for the 12 week scan now.

I told work straight away 😂 my boss has been brilliant, i told them so early because some of the drugs i work with are cytotoxic so wanted to be sure i avoided the right ones.

@Tuesdaysgirl i think im going to get those ones that arnt a set size like, l or xl etc as my boobs are out of control! Like you i wear non wires, never went back after my first 😂

@Novella12 I told work around 8weeks as I knew whatever happened I'd have to let them know anyway if I needed time off.

@Tuesdaysgirl I don't think mine have really grown too much this time, I'm still BF so I don't know if that makes a difference. But last time I just went for some cheap crop top type options from Amazon, if it wasn't Covid times and Primark was open I probably would've tried there. Because as you said I didn't want to spend loads on bras that wouldn't even last the pregnancy.

@Chellooo I am the same! Literally non stop illness since I got pregnant, I've had antibiotics twice for tonsillitis/uvulitis and then sinusitis! It's getting ridiculous. Starting to feel like I need to tell work so they can't get angry with me for repeated absence! 😬

Morning ladies, I'm excited to be joining you! I'll be 11 weeks on Sunday (due Nov 13th). I've had a lot of losses before so haven't really dared to believe this is happening. But we've seen a heartbeat on my early scans and I've decided pessimism isn't doing me any good so I'm going to try and enjoy it (despite the nausea/exhaustion/spotting/sore boobs!). I've got my dating scan on 6th May x

Went to A&E last night after starting to bleed again, gushed when I was going to the car. They did an ultrasound and discovered that my baby's heart has stopped beating. I wish you all happy and healthy pregnancies and big strong babies. We'll try again when we can.
