Just been released to go home. Apparently my bloods and urine tests were normal and EPAU will call me for a follow up. Bleeding has almost stopped, so hopefully it's just been a random thing and nothing to worry about

Sorry to hear a lot are going through a difficult and worrying time at the minute and I hope everything is going to be ok for all.

I am 11 weeks today and this is my first pregnancy and extremely nervous and anxious as I don't know what is normal to feel but I am experiencing cramping today I had this for my first few weeks but I it had more or less gone but again today it's like mild period like pains and stiff uncomfortable back pain thankfully no bleeding or spotting. I was just wondering has others experienced this?

Thank you @xreadytoglow that's reassuring. I can't tell I'm not going to sleep well tonight, worrying that it will start again. Hopefully it was just a random one off. I don't have my 1st scan for another three weeks; it's all I'm going to be able to think about, that everything's okay.

@Feb85 I remember with my first pregnancy getting those kind of cramps on and off through pretty much the whole pregnancy. Why do the stretching pains have to feel exactly the same as period pains!?

@TFMinx hopefully EPU might scan you earlier so that you get some peace of mind. How far are you?

@Feb85 I had really painful cramps jn the 1st trimester of my first pregnancy but not subsequent pregnancies. I suppose its already 'stretched'

I'm still getting stretching pains, second pregnancy. But I've not been pregnant for nearly 4 years.

Hello! FTM due 6th November. I have my first NHS scan Friday. When do they do the bloods for the screening?

@daresbury last time I was pregnant I had my bloods done just before the scan

Just had an emergency scan because of yesterday's bleeding. It's good news, baby is ok and I'm actually a week further on than I thought! So relieved everything is alright

So sorry to read so many of you have been having a hard time 😔 On countdown to the second trimester when we can all relax a little ! 4 weeks to go for me, feels forever away! Lol

12 weeks this week, anxiously waiting to find out when my scan is gonna be 🤩

Praying I get a call or letter tomorrow… anyone done a pregnancy reveal yet? I’m preparing 🥰

Thank you for the replies regarding the cramps it's such a scary time at the minute and not knowing what to expect. I have had two private scans at 7+ 3 weeks and 9 weeks and both times seen my baby's heartbeat 😊 and have my NHS scan Thursday the 28th but am still so scared that something will have gone wrong.

@daresbury my screening bloods are been done this Thursday and my scan the following Thursday

Soery to hear lots of you are suffering, im not feeling great the last few days. The extreme tiredness nausea comes and goes day to day dispite being 12 weeks on tue😣but i just wanted to send everyone positivity and say you got this. Happy Easter to all the wonderful mothers here

Brown spotting still happening, it’s been 2 days now, I should be 11 weeks tomorrow and have my scan next week so hoping all is okay as it’s brown and going to hang off and try to not stress. Hope everyone else is okay now we are coming to the end of Trimester 1?!

@AbbiL0u try not to worry, however I know that's much easier said than done! I'll be thinking of you and have everything crossed for a positive outcome

Hi, hope you all had a good weekend, I'm going to be 11 weeks tomorrow, so happy to be almost done with the first trimester! We told all of our loved ones over the weekend, it was lovely, everyone is so happy. Anyone else not planning to baptise their baby but still having god-parents? We're not religious at all but we're both raised Catholic. I wish I could do something for them to make it feel more official once baby is here.
