@ZoeQ90 this is so stressful, I really hope you’re feeling okay! I had spotting which turned to red blood at 7 weeks and my midwife organised an early scan for the next day, definitely contact them even if it is just for reassurance to see what they say and if they can give you any news. Hope you’re as okay as you can be, understand how worrying it is :( x

LS1983 · 10/04/2022 17:53

@MrsMmz thank you 🙏 💕

My symptoms seemed to be slowly going away, not that they were strong. Stopped feeling as sick, boobs barely sore, no fatigue or needing to pee all the time, but today today I woke up with my stomach feeling tight and bloated again and had nausea this afternoon and needed a nap! I'm just so confused because I know if I've miscarried I can still be getting symptoms especially since it will be a missed one as not had a big bleed to empty my uterus. I've done nothing but read forums and articles these last few days which have been both positive and negative. This has been the longest week of my life!

Casper94 · 10/04/2022 19:37

Sorry for TMI guys but I've just had some pale pink spotting with a tiny dot of red in (I can attach a picture if helpful) it was literally on one wipe and then no more....should I panic??

LS1983 · 10/04/2022 20:07

@Casper94 I hope you are ok! Maybe monitor it if it's stopped and contact EPU tomorrow for peace of mind?

RhiRhi1988 · 10/04/2022 21:14

Really hope everything goes well for you in your scan tomorrow @LS1983 I know how you feel with the symptoms, I’ve been very similar.

I have my scan tomorrow, which we have waited 2 weeks for, and it’s felt like the longest two weeks ever. Im hoping everything is going the way it should be, as I had a rocky start with the falling HCG and nothing showing in the uterus for some time.

@Casper94 keep an eye on it, and definitely seek some medical advice if it continues.

LS1983 · 10/04/2022 21:20

@RhiRhi1988 sending hugs your way for tomorrow. Good luck! My scan is Tuesday morning so not long to go. Let us know how you get on xx

Casper94 · 10/04/2022 23:37

@ls1983 @rhirhi1988 thanks guys, nothing more since so just gonna keep an eye - good luck with your scan tomorrow rhirhi!

I have an appointment for Thursday, so nervous and excited! I'll be 10w2d.

Hi Everyone,
I am currently 7weeks 3 days so that puts me around 24th November as a due date! Had a 6wk5d scan due to some spotting (pinky/brown) and apparently high risk of mc due to PCOS but there was the most beautiful heart flicker! Found out 2days before our first IVF consult Brew
So far nausea after eating and fatigue are big ones but I’m worried as my boobs seem to be getting less painful everyday, has anyone experienced this?
Very anxious as this is a complete miracle.

Bramblecrumble21 · 11/04/2022 06:18

Morning, I'm going to call the maternity unit today where my booking appointment is on Thursday and tell them I have covid. I would be 10+6. I wander if I'll now have my booking appointment

Bramblecrumble21 · 11/04/2022 06:22

... and first scan together. I've heard of people having done first face to face appointment as a scan and booking appointment. This is my second pregnancy and the second illness allready. Something to do with having a child in preschool, collecting germs and germs having a prosperous winter now people are mixing after not for so long.

Bramblecrumble21 · 11/04/2022 06:31

@Sarwat89y boobs aren't sore anymore. They were only slightly sore for me and mostly if I wore a too small bra. My boobs growing was more noticeable.
I had a dream last night I started shooting breasmilk, like when I was breastfeeding. I leaked milk in my first trimester last time but think it was due to some MH medication I was trialling as a side effect was addolecent boys might lactate. I can't remember if that was setraline or qutiapine.

sarahj878 · 11/04/2022 09:28

Good luck today at your scan @RhiRhi1988, thinking of you.

I had some more brown spotting this weekend and went to the EPU. The doctor examined me and reassured me there was no active bleeding so I think it’s from the area of bleeding they spotted on the scan. I’ve got a scan on Thursday but the doctor did not seem concerned so I’m trying to relax about the spotting.

2in2022 · 11/04/2022 09:33

Is anyone else feeling completely and utterly rubbish constantly?
I’m about 7 weeks 3 days and the past week I’ve felt like I’m in a constant hangover. I am beyond exhausted but sleeping rubbish which is causing an ongoing headache, nauseous for the majority or the day but not actually being sick. Totally off food too which I don’t think is helping the nausea. I had 0 symptoms throughout my entire pregnancy with my first so this has totally thrown me, plus having to entertain a 3 year old whilst feeling like this is proving very difficult.
Sorry for the pity party, just needed to get that off my chest I think.

linerforlife · 11/04/2022 09:37

@2in2022 I've literally just come on to say I'm feeling terrible and v sorry for myself. I'm 9 weeks and the last week or so the nausea and tiredness have really kicked in. I'm supposed to be working (from home) right now and I'm laying on the bed feeling sicky and sipping water. My other child is nearly 2 and still BF and it's hurting me so much that I'm desperate to stop but it's a slow process - also not sleeping through the night so I'm shattered all the time!! V lucky to be pregnant I know but I do feel rough Envy

smiles39 · 11/04/2022 09:44

@2in2022 yes you are describing exactly how I feel at 7w2d. I’m a massive foodie normally and it is completely bizarre for me to be off food and especially not interested in chocolate. I’m forcing myself to eat bland but healthy things like fruit, yogurt and nuts to keep the nausea at bay, it’s the only thing that is helping. Loathing every mouthful as I eat.

Brailsbaby · 11/04/2022 09:59

Just came to also say feeling exactly the same 9&2 the last three weeks I have been feeling exhausted. Constantly sick and if not being sick the nausea is actually worse that constant room spinning headache/hungover feeling is dreadful. Doctor wanted to sign me off but I refused as I wanted to be able to do a bit of work when I could so she did me a sick note for reduced responsibilities or something similar. Now I’m regretting is as I can’t even get out of bed without throwing up. Also have DD1 who is 2.5 and poorly off nursery… struggling today so also joining the pitty party!

ZoeQ90 · 11/04/2022 10:13

As expecte, EPU just told me to monitor the bleeding and come in if it became heavy (changing pad every 15-20 minutes)

tigger2022 · 11/04/2022 10:26

I feel exactly the same... 8w4d

Been diagnosed with HG AND pre-eclampsia... I feel like I have a permanent flu or something. I had another scan last Friday and at least they're ok!

Cruz86 · 11/04/2022 11:33

I feel exactly the same, feeling really sorry for myself this morning. Just when I think I'm dealing with the nausea, my body decides it wants to randomly throw up. Think I've actually been sick once a week for the past 4 weeks 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm 10+2 today and just wondering when it's going to stop. What a tough time we're all having 😩 x

Bubbano2 · 11/04/2022 12:04

Hi everyone I have been following this page for a while. Currently 7+5 due Nov 24th - had a early scan Saturday and little bean was all fine but had slight spotting yesterday (pinkish). Always so worrying when you see blood even though it can be normal. Midwife is due to phone today to book my bloods in so will mention it to her. Happy Monday!

Chellooo · 11/04/2022 12:15

Hi Everyone, I've booked myself an early scan on Wed for reassurance really, as (I know a lot of you will hate me for this), I haven't really been having a lot of symptoms...yes my boobs are sore but not more that period boobs, and I've been pretty ok on the food/tiredness front - again sorry for all of you really suffering 😢

Just wondering if any of you have had scans about thr 7+2 Mark? Will I see much?

arianasky · 11/04/2022 13:49

Sorry everyone is feeling so rough I'm exactly the same 😞 had to have 2 weeks off and am on cyclizine and I'm meant to going back to the office next week for the first time since 2020 but I think I'll have to ask the GP to advise me to WFH until sickness eases a little 😞

roobearbaby · 11/04/2022 13:58

@chellooo I had a scan at 7+2. Saw a heartbeat. It was wonderful

AbbiL0u · 11/04/2022 14:40

@Chellooo I had a scan when I thought I was 8 weeks but actually I was 7w +1 and saw a little heartbeat, it was very reassuring!

I feel like I look pregnant today, super bloated! It makes me think my recent cramps are hopefully my uterus growing… it’s so real! I also saw someone say they had been short of breath? I am 10 weeks tomorrow and feel short of breath, is that a pregnancy thing or because I’ve been really lazy recently?!
