@Cruz86 had a good sleep after and feel less nauseous today thanks. Supposed to be going out with girls tonight, none of whom know I’m pregnant so I was already prepared for an awkward conversation and saying I was on antibiotics but now I genuinely think I’m too nauseous to go out anyway!

TMI but does anyone else have a LOT of discharge, like I mean some in the loo when you go for a wee and on wiping? Blush

scoutcat · 09/04/2022 11:00

@sarahj878 Me! I always feel wet down there (TMI) so I'm always convinced I've just bled. Not great for my anxiety haha!

I feel so dizzy and faint today 🥴 not sure how I'm going to drive to pick my son up!

Morning everyone hope everyone is doing well, so I have posted previously on the first thread but haven't been on in a while trying to not worry about every pain in ache as it's my first pregnancy but since last night I seem to have a pain at the very bottom of my back near the end of spine it's not cramping more like a pain as if I had banged it of something which I haven't every time I ask a professional about any pains am told it's stretching and it's normal however this feels different and just wondering has anyone else experienced this?

Hi ladies, have just posted above with my username removed. Very sadly I had a miscarriage last week, at the first scan the baby was measuring small but had a heartbeat. A follow up showed no heartbeat. I wish you all the very very best on your journeys, and hope I’m part of a new 2023 thread some day soon xx

@Littleheart5 so sorry 😢

MrsMmz · 09/04/2022 15:26

Hi. I’ve been reading through the thread and firstly want to say sorry to those who’ve miscarried. I had my third miscarriage in November and know how hard it is. It’s a really hard thing to go through because as soon as we see our positive tests we love that little ball of cells and losing it is really, really awful. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy as soon as you’re ready to try again.
I have an 8 year old daughter and this baby is very much wanted. I’m quite anxious about the pregnancy but I’ve been suffering severe hg and as much as it’s an awful thing to go through, it is giving me some reassurance that things are progressing as they should. I started on Cyclizine a couple of days ago but I think it’s making me worse so I might stop these and either try a different med or maybe not, I don’t know yet.
I’m 42 and that’s another reason I’m anxious about things, not just because of the miscarriages. I know there are higher risks the older we are but I’m trying to focus on positive thoughts and I’m hopeful everything will turn out well.
Anyway I just want to say hi and good luck to us all for smooth pregnancies and lovely healthy babies come November 🤞Smile

LS1983 · 09/04/2022 16:59

@MrsMmz sorry to hear you are not well with this pregnancy but definitely reassurance! I have my second scan on Tuesday to tell me if my baby has stopped growing or not. My pregnancy symptoms have been light and come and go so I pray to be sick just to let me know things are ok. Counting down the minutes until i know. I'm 39 this year and feel like I'm running out of time if I want to have another one. I hope everything goes well for you Thanks

MLB1984 · 09/04/2022 18:17

Oh @Littleheart5 I'm so so sorry 😢. So hope you are ok and sending every healthy thought your way for a 2023 bean! 🤞🏻 lots of love xxx

FlowerJ · 09/04/2022 23:19

@Littleheart5 I'm so sorry 😪 Sending you lots of love and baby dust 🌟❤️ Look after yourself xx

Ladymama12 · 09/04/2022 23:51

@Littleheart5 Im So so sorry. Sending you lots of love.

Ladymama12 · 10/04/2022 00:00

@MrsMmz hello and welcome.
Your not alone in your worries. Im 39 and feel the same way, trying to stay positive. Some days are easier than others. I agree yes, pregnancy symptoms can give hope that all is well with the pregnancy.
Before my 14 year old daughter i had 3 missed miscarriages (babies heart never started beating) it was tough and yes it makes u anxious when u have been through that. But all we can do is try and think positively. I look at my daughter and think if my body managed this miracle once, there's definitely hope it can do it again!! I hope u feel better with the sickness soon..and good luck with everything🙏🏽

Bramblecrumble21 · 10/04/2022 09:00

I felt rough last night, now joining the pregnant and covid club. I hope I can still do my booking appointment on Friday. Temp of 38.4..

HRHFandango · 10/04/2022 09:36

@Bramblecrumble21 sorry to hear you have covid, hopefully your symptoms aren't too terrible. Try to stay as hydrated as you can.
I'm still struggling to get my fluids back up after a week.

Yutes · 10/04/2022 09:40

Keep an eye on your temperature @Bramblecrumble21
I am just out the other side and now feeling anxious about my baby/pregnancy.
I had to change my booking in Appointment as well, I wasn’t willing to have it over the phone I want to see someone. So they changed it

Bramblecrumble21 · 10/04/2022 09:47

I had a different virus with a fever, just before my positive pregnancy test, so three weeks, now I'm 11 weeks. I think I'll ask the midwives about ibuprofen for me if just parecetomol isn't lowering the temperature. Strangely, I don't feel feverish. Thanks HRH fandongo. Hope you can stay hydrated. I like my ginger tea. I'm 10 weeks and haven't had any vomiting so hopefully for me hydration won't be an issue. I

MrsMmz · 10/04/2022 11:04

@LS1983 I wish you all the best for Tuesday and have my fingers crossed for you 🤞💐

@Ladymama12 Thank you. Let’s stay positive and good luck to you too 💐

ZoeQ90 · 10/04/2022 11:28

I've had brown discharge for two weeks which I've been trying not to worry about but this morning I've woken to bright red blood. I know the midwife team will just tell me it's fine if it's not heavy and I'm not in pain. But I just don't feel reassured. Going to see what the next 48h bring before ringing the early pregnancy unit to see what they say.

MrsMmz · 10/04/2022 12:24

@ZoeQ90 I’d probably phone the midwife straight away if I was you. Better to phone them and they say to wait 48 hours than sit and worry yourself silly 💐 They may tell you to come in.

ZoeQ90 · 10/04/2022 12:35

Thanks. It just doesn't seem worth bothering them when they've just told me not to fuss before unless it's red, heavy and painful, and the early pregnancy unit is only Mon-Fri 9-5. I hate making a fuss ☹️

MrsMmz · 10/04/2022 12:39

@ZoeQ90 I understand. But it’s definitely worth making a fuss. Besides, you said the blood is red. It’s worth a phone call

Pamctake2 · 10/04/2022 13:39

@ZoeQ90 if you've got the number for an EPU I'd definitely give them a call. My hospital they won't take calls from you until 18weeks so you just have to go through A&E with any issues which is just silly to me because even though they can't do anything it's just peace of mind speaking to somebody xx

Cheetocat · 10/04/2022 13:56

I had the exact same thing and got put on progesterone which has been working!
