@ HGsecondtimemum I am feeling the same although not been diagnosed with HG just morning sickness, Eve by sick 3/4/5 times a day, can’t even drink water. Been told no meals, to suck on ice cubes, take gaviscon tablets, bubble crackers, take time off work (which I refused at this point), lay flat and don’t more!

Sounds fun doesn’t it haha. I hope you are doing ok.

@Brailsbaby Ahh bless you. They diagnosed me with HG when I was 7 weeks pregnant as I was constantly throwing up around 15 times a day… couldn’t even keep water down. I hope yours doesn’t get as bad as mine.

I would recommend contacting your GP and going on sickness medication as soon as it starts getting worse. I’ve been signed off from work for a month as I’m technically unable to even go to the loo by myself lol.

Not to sound ungrateful though, I just can’t wait to feel better and start enjoying my pregnancy ❤️

@HGsecondtimemum it’s awful isn’t it, I just want a big cold drink but been told to suck on ice cubes to restrict water intake to a minimum. I also just want to be able to enjoy it and have some energy back.

Are you still signed off? I chose to do adjusted hours atm

@FlowerJ also our last! Definitely 🤣 OH booked for a snip this year thankfully 😅 we’re definitely going to have to keep each other in check on not finding out!!

First half of booking in appointment completed, took an hour on the phone. She’s moved my edd to the 1st but will stick to my original edd. May change after scan anyways, Will finish the second half of booking on Wednesday whilst picking up my notes 🥰 said she will fax over for a scan so should get a phone call from them by the end of the week! Things are moving quickly

My fiancé is disappointed in me because I'm not keeping up with cleaning the apartment.. I'm off my MH meds, been bleeding for a week, I am just so stressed and worried. I don't know how to get myself motivated for menial tasks.

@Cheetocat I think that’s the last of your worries. A clean/tidy house is not really a priority right now.

@kathno4 I realllllly want to have a surprise until birth and my partner likes the idea too (this is our first) but family are wanting to know as soon as possible so I may cave in at the anatomy scan 😬😅

@betty1239 hello due date twin! 😁 Glad to hear your sickness isn't as bad this time around!

@cheetocat with all due respect tell him to start helping then if it's that big an issue for him - you're stressed out and growing a human which is number 1 priority at the moment, cleaning and tidying can wait 💞

Cheetocat. I know how you feel. My DH can be similar. Sometimes he's really excited and encouraging me to rest then, also complains about us not doing teamwork or unloading the dishwasher after a 13 hour shift. Hope everything is ok with the bleeding and don't be scared to go back onto MH drugs. Try and have a proper chat with him. You always have to think about risk benifit with these things and mentally pregnancy is though. I was on MH drugs in 2016, came off them a while before 1st pregnancy, when my MH was bad but I was reluctant to go back on them, I did towards the end and I had a miserable pregnancy and missed so much work.

This time round I'm struggling to know if it's physical tiredness or more psychological as I feel much better when I'm out and about and busy than at home.

@Brailsbaby It is horrible indeed! 😭 Just make sure you try and take small sips of water throughout the day to avoid dehydration. So that you don’t end up at the hospital for IV fluids (like I did lol).

Yes, I’m signed off until the 22/4. Hopefully things will be slightly better by then for me to actually go in but my GP advised me to fully recover from HG before I go back. She’s happy to sign me off for slightly longer if needed

@Cheetocat wow...how rude and inconsiderate. Hope you are ok! That's just not a priority right now and he should know better and be more supportive. I'm sorry you are having a tough time.

@FlowerJ still waiting on EPU calling me back. I chased it up over an hour ago. Was ok through the night, just minimal light brown discharge off and on. No cramps but feel a bit tender. My anxiety is through the roof. I've got a feeling they will just tell me to see how I go but I really want to know my baby is ok! Thanks for asking x

I'm 8 weeks today and have just had a call from the midwives for my first appointment. So excited 😍

Thank you all, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it was a bit unreasonable. I'm not going to push myself harder than I think I should. My doctor said she couldn't find any meds that were safe for the baby, I'll give it a few weeks and see how I go.

EPU called and no scans left today so 9.30am tomorrow. Another anxious day/night. This is horrible. Hopefully it's good news tomorrow!!!!!

Is it a bit crazy to go for a scan today even though im in with EPU on Wednesday.... have period pain in back and on off stitch feeling in tummy last few days and im really anxious to make sure there's still heartbeat there after last week.....

@Kathno4 I had a surprise with my first and felt it helped me push through during the late stages of labour as I knew I’d get to find out. We also written into our birth plan that my husband looked first and told me which felt very special. I suppose it’s always a surprise whenever you find out.

@BabyGally22 I’d check with your private scan clinic as I know the one local to me won’t scan you if you’ve either had a scan within the last week or are due one in the forthcoming week. So if EPU will be scanning you on Wednesday then a private one may not. I think they all have different rules but worth a check

Is anyone else getting extremely tender boobs but specifically in the afternoon/evening? As the day goes on mine are soooooo painful. My areolas are huge now 🙈 and I think my breasts have also swollen a bit as can see redness where my bra has been

@FlowerJ @Kathno4 we kept it a surprise with my first until birth and it was lovely doing that but I think we will find out this time, partly to help my son feel prepared for the new arrival. I’m already reading into every symptom and trying to guess!
