@DKDK123 I really don't want to have to start taking snacks to bed. 🤣 I'm trying not to watch stuff on the war, I don't want you stress about more things i can't control. It just seems to be one thing after another!
@Kate105 I've always been a nightmare with ebay yes! But now I've found vinted! 🙈 3am weetabix seems reasonable. 😁

@Lexber at least it's progressing. The nursery will be brilliant when it's finished. Not really sure about the initial issue though, you do kind of need names to be able to do that. 🤣

My hips have really been hurting today. We walked the dog further, so I'm not sure if that makes it worse? My bump is also looking more bump like. I've bought a few more bits on vinted today and if I see baby clothes from the seller that might suit, then I tag them on. I might have bought my first 'pink' things..... 🤔🤣
I really need to buy some clothes for myself. Or I'm going to become housebound. 🙄

@minster2012 I can't imagine what those poor workers are feeling being recalled from here! Obviously its terrible for every one of them whether they were originally over there or here but to know you're in a safe country and then have to be recalled to somewhere of danger must be gut wrenching! I supposed the one silver lining for them is at least they know their families are safe back here unlike the ones with fleeing families. Still a shit situation for all involved. 😔

@lexber I know thr thought of keeping going to 38 weeks when you're already feeling so big and uncomfy can be daunting but keep reminding yourself the longer they cook in there the less chance of a NICU stay and getting home earlier at the other end 🤞 I'm starting to just a tiny bit allow myself to hope that given I've managed to stay of out hospital so far they might allow me to go all the way to 38 weeks too now and the thought of being able to cuddle baby from day 1 and not have her hooked up to machines in NICU is an amazing thought. Trying not to get my hopes up too much about it but the further im getting the more I'm hoping it can be a possibility 😁

@paintfairy I bought some maternity trousers for me for work and some leggings but that's it, I've just made use of baggier tops I've had, with only 10/11 weeksish to go I'm hoping not to have to buy anything else for me. Tho I do have a wedding coming up next month and god knows what I'm going to wear to it, I did have a quick look at some maternity dressed online and everything just looked like tents and I gave in, I'm sure they'll accept me turning up in my PJs 😂

@larrythelizard oh your boss 😆 what a man thing to say, at least it's done now 👍🏼

@Franklydear that sounds a bit like my DH with the people he manages and coming to me 😆 there is only one female though and the rest male so conversations are very different, one has had warnings time and time again for being an absolute pervert (with both colleagues and members of the public) but the sector is heavily unionised and he can't get rid of the sexual predator which is a worry 😬 never an imposter btw!

@becarefuloutthere yesssss congratulations mama 🥳 so happy it all happened relatively quickly for you and you are both doing well 🥰

@paintfairy probably due to the extra distance you did, hip pain is horrible 😭 we're going for a walk today but at 4 year old pace so we can both moan to DH our legs/hips hurt 😆

@DKDK123 argggh is it the whole day do wedding you're going to? I did a nighttime wedding do and managed for find something but it was a real headache. Like you say I think it's a fine line between looking nice and like a tent

Knackered this morning, up with DD whilst DH had stayed in bed. He better make the most of it as I'll be in bed at every opportunity when baby arrives 🙈

@bez91 thank, feeling the love, dh has about 50/50, he comes to me with questions on maternity, the last one was when are baby jabs due, this guy had a baby in Christmas and wants the day off, would you need me to go to that, the dates did match, I said maybe time for the appointment if he wanted to be nice, but not needed the whole day, which is what he did, he wants to be nice but not for people to take the Micky , he had 3 ladies on lots of time off at second trimester cos they couldn’t cope, and wanted my opinion on letting hr go heavy on them, second trimester was the nicest for me, if they cannot cope with that god help them the last few weeks, or coming back to work in 0 sleep, unions shouldn’t defend creeps, I know a couple of my reps that have refused in similar situations

Morning ladies

Catching up after a really busy day yesterday which then made SH get a bit worried & keep saying "are you ok?" As I was collapsed on the sofa when our friends arrived at 3.30pm. Just tired & had awful back ache after not stopping since 6am so think he realises now why I say I need to do something, then sit down a bit, then do something then sit down.

Friends over, & kids, if you see my Insta story there's a bit of devastation & im with you @bez91 I'm up & DH in bed after he came to bed somewhere between 1 & 3am, and he better remember it 😆

They have drunk SOOOO MUCH
On another note 2 of the adults said something about "the past 5 months pregnant for you" and I said "7 months?" They didn't believe me til they worked it out. Taking that as a win!

@becarefuloutthere so pleased it all went well and you are both doing good 😊 can't wait to see

@DKDK123 I've got such a good feeling for you about this special little Emily, she wants to be well cooked 😋 I've got a christening in March so not too big so should be able to use one of my wrap dresses

@paintfairy oooo I've never actually looked on vinted (or bought or sold on there despite selling loads of stuff) but pink eh?! Get you!! You might need to buy a few bits. I've only bought a few leggings, 2 long tops, 1 jumper dress & 1 pair of jeans, but yesterday I was wearing a pair of jeggings that I've had for years & just a t shirt & jumper, so all not maternity

@Lexber I was concerned with buying a name banner when X was cooking for the same reason but I'm pleased we did, you do kinda need to decide names first 😆

@DKDK123 that's what is getting me through and what I keep reminding myself of. As much as it hurts some days it's for the best, I do keep telling them to stay put!
That would be amazing for you and me, I think we are both taking each day as it comes and hopefully our babies stay comfy as long as possible! I've nearly packed my bags just in case but hopefully won't need them for a few weeks.. I'm starting to get sick if people around me telling they're gonna be early 😬 "they'll be here by 35 weeks" "ooh your so big they won't stay in there til 37 weeks.." feck off 🤣

I have a wedding in March (33weeks) and christening for nieces in April (37+3 if I make it) and no idea what to wear 🤣 I've had to buy bigger maternity stuff already as bump is just getting bigger and bigger...

@Minster2012 it's exhausting isn't it, I can always tell I've done too much. I've even gone and brought myself a new lighter hoover just because I'm sick of struggling with ours as it's a plug in on out oh work van because my shark is knackered! I'm excited to be able to Hoover without pain!! 🤣🤣

I just don't seem to be snake to settle on a name 😬 it feels such a big thing right now and the only thing stressing me out! We have middle names and have for weeks but their actual names... 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

I also love a coat @kaylsd but mainly wear mum coats these days instead of the nice ones. Humph.

Might be worth seeing a physio/looking into support belts @paintfairy - you've a long way to go still and not worth being in pain for it all. Loving all your shopping! I just need the weather to change a bit then will be ok wearing various shirt dresses etc that I already own!

We've taken to having a bit more alone time @bez91 and one of us taking DS out as we realised that we won't be able to do that come august!

I fell down a rabbit hole of custom made canopy's for the buggy we already own last night which I'm very tempted by, then it'll feel new!

Lazy morning here for us all - I'm sat on the sofa and the sun is steaming in, I thought my left nipple was actually on fire with the sun heating it up - I don't think my black dressing gown helped! OUCH!

@DKDK123 I'm hoping I can get away without buying too much. Just some stretchy tops maybe. Its bottoms I struggle with. The maternity jeans fall down. I bought some jeggings which worked for a bit but now they are uncomfortable. I wonder if the next size up might work, as I think the maternity ones will fall down like everything else! Maybe i need to bite the bullet and get leggings but that really won't look great! I also will have an issue if I need to go anywhere nice, but I'm just trying to avoid that. Definitely no weddings! 🤣 That is difficult! Or christenings either @Lexber
It would be great if you both manage to come home after birth and the babies aren't too small.
@bez91 I used to be quite active but I got into the habit of doing less earlier on and now I'm a slob @larrythelizard I think I just need to slowly increase it.

And I've never used vinted really. Only ebay. But having just sold something on ebay this morning (first time in ages) I'm appalled you don't get the money straight away any more. So I think I need to work out how to sell on vinted. You don't pay fees for selling either.

God I'm having weird dreams and I just struggle to sleep at night. One more sleep and I can go back into my bed!

@paintfairy maybe you need to try the jeans again/some other brand? I feel like you should definitely be able to wear them by now!

Currently on my way to yoga. Gotta admit I'm a bit pissed it's at midday as I feel it kinda ruins most of my Sunday by breaking it up like that lol. I've also been super grumpy with OH this morning but I think it's cause I'm stressed about being behind at work and knowing I need to work all afternoon..

Definitely take that as a win @Minster2012 people have said to me 'oooh you look about ready' hmm thanks 😬 happy third trimester lady!

@Lexber we are at a crossroads with names too! I made a list which is a combination of what we have both chose and left it in the kitchen and DH has obviously seen it and put a star next to all the ones I only think are "ok" 🤦🏼‍♀️

@larrythelizard we have a room like that at our house which is so lovely for days like this when it feels you're in a tropical country 😆 ouch on the nipple though, mine keep tingling massively

@paintfairy me too, I've been scared to move this pregnancy and not been able to shake it! Walks are good though and I enjoy swimming but feel I may be getting a bit too slow for the slow Lane!

Yeah I deffo seem to remember some brands maternity jeans fitting me better than others @paintfairy so maybe try again? I think asos has a few different brands (they also do tall ones which I need).

I bet you'll feel better after it @Juno231 - would annoy me it being a Sunday too - it's the only day of the week we don't tend to plan anything.

I'm trying to go for a walk most days @paintfairy @bez91 as I've got into the habit of going to the gym then barely moving other than that.

DH has taken DS swimming so I walked back from IL's and now sat in the garden in the sun - no coat or anything! Wondering if I could nod off in this chair...!

I get that @bez91 "ooh you must be due any day" erm nope I'm not even 30 weeks yet 🤣🤣🤣 then they look absolutely horrified so I have to them say "there's 2 in there..." which them gets met with excitement and a million questions.. 🤣🤣🤦🏽‍♀️ and as for names OH has said just tell him what I like and he will pick one of them as I don't like any he suggests 🤣🤣

Mass IKEA trip done today - pretty much got everything we need for the nursery now (except the vita that we're out of stock but back in 9 days) we have a specific plan with the cots to fit both together so need smaller sized cots. We got the mattresses today ready, changing unit, shelving, curtains, blinds, storage units, boxes, etc etc
So this week OH is finishing of the last touches and building bits... I'm bankrupt but payday tomorrow thanks f... 🤣🤣

I tried to check in last night but do t know if MN was down it wouldn't work for me!

@Lexber imagine if you put the letters up wrong 😂that's likely what I'd do, glad you have stuff though, makes me feel better we haven't sorted too much yet that there's still time

@larrythelizard I also contemplated a custom canopy for our pram, it's a lovely thing to do, a cost we can do without though so ho hum hope you got a nap in (after a walk of course). You need a dog then you need to walk every day!

@paintfairy I'm joining you on the weird dreams & then being awake. I swear I've been awake since about 3. I'm gonna slow down a bit now, after a busy weekend last night I was so uncomfortable. I think you may not get paid straight away on vinted but I'm not sure

So I had another win yesterday though maybe it's worrying if I'm small I dunno as even MIL & her friend "couldn't believe" I'm 28 weeks or 7 months I made a comment about asking at my 28 week appointment something & she said oh yes that's what 2/3 weeks, I was like er no, 28 today, it's on Tuesday! However I have officially hit the stage where when I get up from our low sofa I go inadvertently "ooomh/hooooomph" like an old man struggling to get up 😂😬not elegant at all!

We have a gig in Manchester in a few weeks so that's when I'm 32weeks, I hope I can get a chair 😆

@Minster2012 not gonna lie, your bump is very small but everyone's is different and baby girl is happy and healthy so clearly you're just a lucky gal that won't be covered in stretchmarks or wearing belly support belts any time soon! Love the idea of yoga then lunch, I hope that will happen one day!

So I've got a coffee scheduled with my neighbour today and was going to tell her I'm pregnant - except I bumped into her on my way home from yoga yesterday and she just said "do you have some news for me?!" with a huge grin on her face. When I said yes and asked her how she knew she said well you look very pregnant and grabbed my tummy through my coat. Have I said I don't have a bump yet? 🤣 It was bloat! She then also claims her daughter guessed I was pregnant a month ago already. Wtf!

Are you tall @Minster2012? I always think more room for baby to hang out if you're tall.

I have two weddings to go to in April and thought I had a couple of options in the cupboard but nope, a bit bigger overall and boobs don't fit 😫 so now I have to find a dress (one will do!) - all the maternity stuff is not very me so I'm not sure what I'll do! Nothing yet in the hope some more springy things come into the shops.

4 day week this week, big meeting to prep for tomorrow though. Ergh.

Lovely dinky bump, and you look really well @Minster2012 sending solidarity on a bit of groaning when moving from low down though, I'm only 22 weeks tomorrow. 😬

@bez91 your list sounds a good idea; the only person coming up with fairly sensible names in our house at the moment is DS. OH keeps coming up with silly alliteration type ones 😫 🙄

@paintfairy agree about the jeans, I've found Dorothy Perkins ones to be quite good. And ordered some new bigger maternity leggings from H&M as my other ones gave me an indented tummy. Poor baby.  Vinted has been good for me - I know you're not a dress lady but have managed to get some real bargains to get me through the last few months at work.

Back from lovely break away, now just mountains of washing to do. Got my whooping cough jab this pm. And then back to work and normality tomorrow.

@larrythelizard that's just it I could prob fit into a lot of stuff IF it weren't for the boobs 😜I've never been a person for having a new dress for each wedding! God my SIL was saying last week they e got 5 more weddings this year, they've already been to 3, & these are all big do's in and around London so they are mega expensive as a guest too with travelling/staying/hen/stags & gift I said to her "Jesus you guys are WAY too popular 😝"
I'm not tall @larrythelizard im 5'5", however, MIL does regularly point out that as I've had my large bowels removed I'm likely small cos baby has lots of extra room inside to swim around 🙄er thanks. Not. 4 day week though!

Oh don't worry @Juno231 I will still be full of stretch marks! And also I swear I was bigger with the bloat for the first trimester than second then it levelled off, can't believe a month though cheeky mare!!

On the names thing MIL was once again fishing last night for info, she said "don't worry I'll ask DH when he's on his own" and DH went "well I didn't tell you last time mum!"
