@Juno231 that woman sounds like me in disguise 😆 I've not long woken from a nap for this very exact reason 😂 and probably because I actually walked about today. Went into 3 different shops scanning for artwork, came out with sweets 😂 I'm glad class was good tho and you've got some potential peeps to chat to.

@larrythelizard see how it goes for DS, he might not notice but he might! I'm assuming the family will know?

@Juno231 ha someone then, but anyway I feel ok about what I'm eating I just feel HUGE all of a sudden!! Really pleased the yoga was good & it sounds perfect for both a workout and mates! Such a great gift from DH

@becarefuloutthere I think you should stock up on sleep /naps AND sweets whilst you can!! Do you have another sweep booked?

Ive done my fragmin injection (DH has been doing them recently as I've been physically pulling away from myself doing it as it hurts so much & immediately makes a lump now so I've handed it over) but tonight I used my belly again & IMMEDIATELY a big lump appeared straight away & it absolutely kills. So fed up of these, can't believe another 20 weeks or so of them. 😖in other news thank you for the canesten recommendations that's better at least 😂

@Minster2012 I agree! Yeah on Tuesday (due date) that'll be it and then induction Friday if no movement on my own.
Ah sorry the injections are given you so much gip! I'm glad you're getting some relief somewhere tho 😅

Yoga sounds lovely @Juno231 - I'm undecided if I'm going to go this time or not, I live in a small town though so need to be prepared to bump into people if I'm going to go!

Ouch ouch ouch @Minster2012 it'll be worth it, honest! Yeah the kids and the adults know as DH's niece is hoping for a girl cousin as she only has boy cousins and will no doubt be as vocal as only a bossy 7 year old can be!

I've got a random patch of supremely itchy hives on my hand this evening out of nowhere which is annoying.

Also I seem to have an actual bump tonight, it's mad how much sooner it is this time round!

Maybe DS has an inckling @larrythelizard 😉 how do you think he will react when you tell him? Yay to a little bump!

@Vil10 glad the scan went well 😊 lovely little lasagne. Timed well for the next scan too as not long to wait! My growth scans start this week which is well timed as I'm starting to feel a little anxious 😬

@Juno231 that's so frustrating but feel that lady like @becarefuloutthere I definitely knackered myself out more in those last couple of weeks thinking oooo is something happening 😆 and right now laid awake because I can't get comfy. Sounds good at yoga and hopefully you'll hit it off with some ladies 😊

@Minster2012 the injections sound awful 😥 up to what point post birth do you have to take them too? Hope the soreness improves. Maybe keep getting DH to do them?

Had a lovely time away at cousins wife's baby shower. "SIL" pulled a sicky which I expected as she didn't have a chauffeur aka my brother (I did offer) and was "far too tired and needed to clean the house" ahead of "working" this week. The girl hasn't got a days work in her 🙄 so no unsolicited touching and was lovely to see all the girls of the family and talk babies which seemed weird 😊 also saw my Nan who I've not seen since November, she has this horrible degenerative disease and has been bedbound for the last 2 years and has full time carers, she's lost all her voluntary functions and can't communicate or show emotion and it's been a nightmare seeing her through covid but me and my dad managed to raise a smile out of her today talking about my brothers taste in women which alone was worth the drive 😊

Ah @bez91 yey for another scan, when is it? I've just got my first growth scan through (32weeks) and it's on the 32nd week exactly, which is a Sunday, the day DH & DS are away for the weekend but that's ok. I've got rearranged lasagne scan first though. I have to take the injections for at least 6 weeks after birth so it seems so long 😖. Loving that you enjoyed the shower, SIL wasn't there & seeing & laughing with your Nan that's lovely

Oh gosh @larrythelizard the 7 year old will def not be able to keep quiet 😂did you soothe the hives? And all of a sudden the bump!! That's what it was like for me

Any advice on restless legs? And cramps? I put magnesium spray on my legs at night but am waking up at night with full on cramps, last night it was 3am & my left foot & ankle & toes started to spasm so I was trying to walk around then my right side of my neck started to do it! I was screaming in pain the other night before bed as got such bad leg cramps DH was trying to stretch it out & not helping...It's driving me BONKERS 😝

We survived! Will do a proper catch up later but glad scans, yoga and family dos have all gone well! TSD is also officially in his own room as of last night but I still woke up every hour at the slightest noise 😂🙈 hoping I get over myself fairly quickly there otherwise there's literally no benefit in getting rid of him 😂

I was told a banana before bed would help with the cramps @Minster2012 something about the potassium??? Never tried it though so quite possibly useless advice 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think he'll mainly just ignore me/us and carry on his own little world which is fine @bez91 - he's not 3 until the summer so quite little still. Baby shower sounds lovely as does your man

Good old hydrocortisone cream sorted it out @Minster2012 was so random!

I'm guessing magnesium supplements are a no whilst pregnant @Minster2012 - trying to think which foods are high in it, maybe bananas? No sensible solutions from me sorry!

I PB'd my deadlift in the gym this morning so quite pleased with myself! Instead of working now I'm mainly obsessively watching the bins to make sure the recycling doesn't blow away before the binmen come (if they even come today!)

@bez91 unless I go into labour now, I doubt I'm getting my fab date but hey ho! I'll write it off by tonight and go walking today so that I tried to Jimmy her along! Ahh I'm so glad you had a nice time and the wench wasn't there to touch you! Bless your nan, well done you and your dad! 💕
@Minster2012 that would be the ideal scenario but I just can't see it happening but we'll see! Eek feel for you with the cramping, it's horrendous isn't it. No advice but I'm reading the others as I get this on n off too but I can usually get rid once I stand up.
@larrythelizard very impressive with the PB and whilst pregnant! Go you!! And lol with the bins, it's normal rubbish for us today and they came mega early, like 715, Dh only put them out at 7. They usually come in the afternoon! Or whenever they fancy tbf 😅

@Juno231 glad you enjoyed yoga! Talking about pelvic floors, at my 16 week appointment the midwife told me about an app called nhs squeezy and it's different exercises for your pelvic floors!

@Minster2012 sorry you're struggling with the injections!! You're doing a better job than I'd ever be able to do! You're a warrior!!

@bez91 when is your first growth scan?? Glad you had a lovely day, I do enjoy a baby shower!!

We've been deciding or not whether to go away before baby arrives and decided yesterday we're going to book croatia I think, originally it was Portugal but neither of us have been to Croatia and it looks lovely and somewhere we've always wanted to go! OH said he'd pay for the lot for my birthday present which is amazing, looking to go at the beginning of may for a week so I'll be 27 weeks, which seems an okay time to go away, and at least I'll have a tan, although probably a pale bsck because I'm not sure how I'll tan that😂

Never say never @becarefuloutthere there's a lot of today left still!

Croatia is also on my list @Vil10 - never been but really fancy it! So far I've only found one insurance firm that covers the baby as well as me (was part of trying to decide if we should go away), I've forgotten what it's called though, will check and we can compare notes!

@larrythelizard I read this on money supermarket, I'll attach it! To be honest being 27 weeks we probably won't be doing much exploring, probably just a chilled all inclusive week, so we may have to go back so we can explore properly!!

@Minster2012 no idea what fun a teenager would have at a wedding where they knew no one either? And I think I've put on about 6lb so far, at my last check? I need to stop eating though, I'm eating for 5. 🤣 And neither am I exercising. The injections and cramps sound horrid.
@feliznavidad2 It probably isn't trialled but that doesn't mean it's harmful. Its just you worry about unknown and therefore its best not to do it. I suspect its actually fine unless you were taking it every week. 🤣
@larrythelizard was windy here yesterday and vile rain but now it's even windier?! Worse than the worst storm ever, I'm sure?! And maybe magnesium directly in the bath water would be allowed? @Minster2012
@Vil10 great scan! Your lasagne one does look like lasagne! Mine actually just looked like something from a horror film and i never want to see it again. 🤣 I wish they hadn't done it.

We went to DHs family last night. Was alright really but I just find it really uncomfortable when people talk about it. I'm still pretending its not happening. 🤣 They seem excited though.
I also seem to have unexpectedly bought a pram. 🙈 Not my intention at all. But it was too good a price to pass by (ebay). I collect it Thursday. Just hope its OK! Its a bugaboo fox 2. I'll maybe just store it at mums for now......

@vil10 absolutely beautiful little scan pinks I’m predicting team pink for you though for some reason 🧐 😘 all falling into place now :) I think you should go on a baby moon! Be nice to have abit of colour before the little one comes!
@minster2012 I feel for you with the soreness to your stomach with the injections, I always cringe when I give them patients as it apparently stings 😫 try and think of it as glass half full, half way to being done with them! My mum swears by tonic water for restless legs 🙊

Been abit quiet ladies as I’ve been in night mode, my screening results came back in the post today everything looking well for low risk which means I’ll share my social media announcement today 🙈 I’ve made abit of a montage video including DH reaction to my wrapped up test at Christmas 🤣🙈 hope you are all well and I’ve not missed too much ❤️❤️

@Vil10 I went to Croatia a few years back and loooved it - just make sure to bring those shoes to go into the water with as their beaches are riddled in sea urchins and you wouldn't want to step on those! Remember sunbathing is a bit risky when pregnant - the hormonal changes means the skin burns easily and it's quite common to get those horrible pigmentation discolourations on your face (look up chloasma!). Thanks for reminding me about kegels, I've been rubbish with mine!

@Minster2012 i second the bananas! I feel for you with the injections, they sound terrible to have to do daily :( any idea why they're now going lumpy?

@paintfairy woop woop for the fox 2! I'm keeping an eye out for the bee 5 but really I need to go to mamas and papas and try it out first.

Can I just add to the yoga update - the words vulva were mentioned 3 times, anal sphincter 3 times as well and then my favourite - clitoral tickle was mentioned twice. Just to show how unlike a regular yoga session it was 🙈

@Minster2012 growth scan tomorrow 😬 argggh hopefully the pain will start to ease with the injections! I had horrendous leg cramps when pregnant with DD, I'd wake up screaming in the intense cramping and literally had to put my foot on the floor which tore my calves to stop the pain, hasn't happened this time so far 🤷‍♀️ I never found anything that worked so useless advice over here, you have my sympathy though!

I'm just mildly concerned that my posts recently have been too aspirational. I would just like to add the correction that while TSD did sleep in his own cot all night last night, he did literally scream (new trick, yay fun) from approx 9-10pm which meant that I only got to watch 8m50 of This Is Going To Hurt. I can watch this because the reality of TSD is far more traumatic than the programme 😂 and I have already given birth so much less stressful for me than for most of you...

Trip away boom! you'll get over it pretty quickly don't worry, the noises DS made was a reason we moved him out...I'd wake up thinking he needed something but actually he was just being a noisy snuffle pig 🐷 & rearranging himself 😂. Totally with you on the tv watching, DH regularly says when I'm at home with DS "what have you watched today?" And I'm like "errrr 20 mins of call the midwife?" 🙄

@Vil10 Croatia is lovely ☺️ and 27 weeks is a great time I think, being that now I could happily go away 😉just watch the sun bathing though, when pregnant your skin is hyper sensitive & they say to wear factor 50 as burning risk is higher. You'll be side bathing in the shade 😊

@Juno231 my doctor friends say it's going lumpy from being used too much 😖so I need to use other areas. I think your yoga session sounds fantastic!!
