Yeah she loves it in there, it'll be weird when she's out. You really do feel pregnant forever when it's ivf and you know exact dates! I guess it's the same for those getting bfp's at 8 and 9dpo. Drags on n on! I'm sure I'll miss being pregnant despite this last stint of it.

@paintfairy yeah it defo does! I started ivf in May so it feels hella long now. Yay to nearly being at half way mark, I loved hitting that stage!

My first one started in the nov with the northisterone then my transfer was feb! I mean what the hell to even take that long to get to BFP?!

@Minster2012 ah OK, I'll look up chair things. 🤣 No I've not looked at more prams yet. I have found 2 big shops that are reasonable to drive to and try some out, its just getting round to going because we seem to be decorating etc every weekend.

Are low down pains normal? Everything is starting to feel harder now too (to touch) as opposed to squishy. But I've had low down pains today like lower than your inner belly crease? More to the left. Wouldn't say it's cramps but definitely pains.

@Minster2012 haha I did spot that typo and it made me chuckle 🤭
We had our first consultation 22nd feb21 and I only realised that the other day...to the year we first spoke to the hospital after getting funding approved to it being exactly a year later that she's due 🥰 The thread is good! I read about half @Franklydear need to go bk and see if there's an update now.

Can't help on the pains @paintfairy and there's still time on the prams 😊we have a baby bjorn bouncer chair & it's the best thing ever. I'm liking the idea of locking myself in the house atm 😂

@bez91 @larrythelizard stranger comments are the worst. I think I'm just coming out of the stage where ppl can mistake me for chunky/having had a good Christmas vs carrying a baby and I would NEVER dream of making comments to ppl so I don't understand it really

I really need to start thinking of a list of stuff we need vs what we already have. That involves going into a large shed though to delve through the stuff stored which I'm not looking forward to the prospect of. It started off putting things in really organised then ended up chucking stuff in Willy nilly...there was some Willy nilly though when doing it as that moving was done as part of this conception's FW 😂

It's my cousins wife's baby shower Sunday that I'm travelling a couple of hours for, I am expecting a lot of bump touches. I don't mind so much is being family but if my brothers gold-digging bit of fluff touches me I'll be very unhappy 🙈

@DKDK123 also with you on waiting for that glow! I suppose baby being higher up may be a reason you're back in full flow 😆 what a pain about the appointment, it can't of been overly necessary if it they can't even tell you what it was for!

@feliznavidad2 great news all is looking good and cervix too 👌🏼 bet that's put your mind at ease

@Vil10 I think you'll be fine for painting just don't overdo it more physically. I did loads up to having DD, oil based like gloss is way more harmful that emulsion but that's only to you, not baby. Great you'll seemingly have lots of help with the house!

Busy week over here, everything is always a mad rush especially as I'm off next week. Just polished off a McDonald's breakfast killing time before my next visit. They're all outside today and tomorrow too, this weather is something else 💨

God now I'm having flashbacks to all the times people have given me their seats on the tube because they thought I was pregnant 😂

@paintfairy no idea on the pain but pretty sure everything is normal as part of pregnancy lol.

15 weeks today 🥰 can't believe I've come this far. Picking up that newborn to 3 month bundle at lunch - can't wait!

I still get a fair bit of round ligament pain @paintfairy particularly with sudden movements or sneezing or coughing, could it be that?

I'm trying very hard not to buy flashier versions of stuff we already have @Minster2012 - lots of it was hand me downs in the first place! Haha Willy plenty more likely than Willy nilly!

I agree @bez91 it's about context. I'm pleased I'm not having to do outside meetings, wind starting to pick up here. We're just outside of the forecast red zone!

@Minster2012 it does come and go. Maybe it's just ligament pain. And yes, I would never have bought a pram before 20 weeks anyway. So we'll go look at some point and narrow it down! I can't work out why all these chairs are so expensive? But there will be no nuna for me. 🤣

@larrythelizard I think it might be, yes. Its not sharp and it stays but its still on and off. Probably just stretching. Its not too bad today.

I woke up in the middle of the night starving! Seems unreasonable to start snacking. 🤔 Just permanently hungry! I also now weigh pretty much what i did pre ivf, so I need to watch i don't pile weight on keep eating crap. Can't help it though.

@Juno231 check us with the bargain nuna's! Mine has been the same! So dry and my hands have been like that too! Ooo I've never heard of feather and black maybe I should Google!

@larrythelizard definitely! No point buying when you already have one!! Painting was surprisingly okay, only 1 room and kept it well ventilated and my back was fine!!

@Minster2012 ooo a massage now and in April sounds ideal! I think I might book a few in too!! We were considering there baby bjorn bouncer too, my friend said if we aren't a fan of the nuna we can use her baby bjorn bouncer!

So just had my 16 week appointment and all looks good! She did babies heart beat and found it pretty quickly and said it was a lovely strong heartbeat, is there any better sound than that??
My weight has only increased by 4lb since before I was pregnant, no idea how I'm not heavier because I've been snacking on crisps and biscuits like no tomorrow! However, quite strange, after my quad blood tests it came up on my app "Down syndrome screening, performed 8th feb, not published" and then obviously when they upload the bloods it'll say the results instead of not publisher, on the 14th feb I had a new row come onto my blood chart and it said the same as the other row but "date performed 10th jan, downs chance 1 in 100000, chance: low", however mine weren't done on the 10th jan and the original row for the bloods still said not published, so I mentioned it today and she said they've either attached someone else's results to my app or they are my results but they've had confusion over the dates, but she said she was going to find out either this afternoon or first thing tomorrow morning and she'd let me know!

I've got like a stitch where the round ligament pain is this afternoon @paintfairy but am just sat on a train so a bit different - is that what you meant?

As I've got time to kill on a train I've been searching through my calendar to see when I met the consultant last time round, it was about now so I probably should have an appointment - will ask MW when I see her in a couple of weeks.

Those of you who've done it before (or I guess those of you considering asking for an ELCS) - I ended up with an EMCS with DS and am erring towards an ELCS with this one, any thoughts from anyone? Aware I don't need to decide yet but on my mind a lot at the moment!

Lovely apt today then @Vil10! They don't offer 15/16 week appts as standard here if it's not your first time so I'm very pleased my MW offered me one! App all sounds very confusing, it's all very old school here, letters in the post and stuff!

Ahh congratulations @paintfairy on adding another girly to the list! I do feel there's so many girls around in general at the moments it's odd! I had a boy, but my 2 cousins and 2 friends all had girls and they're all born March-December so he's a bit outnumbered 🤣

However, as we love a bit of tmi here...after last weekend's shenanigans I'm a tiny bit itchy in the foof...not much though & not all the time. Not noticed an increase in discharge (there's a fair bit anyway but no changes) thoughts?? I'm drinking lots of water to try flush my system

@Minster2012 could be mild thrush tbh, the discharge doesn't always have to change to that cottage cheese consistency

@vil10 I've gained 5lbs so far but read in a few places that second trimester is when we should be putting on a pound a week? Terrifying thought 😂

@Juno231 omg a pound a week?? That is not a nice thought😂 also how did you find pregnancy yoga? OH paid for a block of 5 sessions for me and I did my first one last night, I did it over zoom just because I'm not confident with yoga so thought I'd do the first 2 over zoom then the next lot in the studio! I really enjoyed it, I thought it was so so calming and relaxing and got some good stretches in as well!!
