Ba ha ha you are my kind of woman @Kate105 with your Valentine's Day prank and also parenting, I remember when we were trying to ditch DS' third nap we'd let him have 10 mins in his cot and then wake him, my mum thought we were very cruel!

As I'm sure most ppl would say similar about their areas @larrythelizard we are fortunate in that within 45 mins we have such beautiful areas that are diverse, the moors one way, the dales another, we are in the wolds & the coast also even less time away so many places to explore!

I've been told we are going to drop DS off at my parents then going for brunch at a lovely farm shop then a 3 mile walk & watching rugby in a pub then a meal at night I've been told to take smart rags 🥰so I guess that's one of my bright wrap dresses which are doing a fab job being a "posh/smart casual" maternity staple (they aren't maternity) might even wear boots as opposed to my sparkly shoes or DMs 👟

Well this weekend not started well 😞😭I've got a stinking cold, from about 4pm yesterday I was sneezing, coughing & my nose blocked then uncontrollably running. DH is like "maybe I should take DS away instead?" 😔😔

Gods country right @Minster2012? (I have family up there!)

Oh no @Minster2012 is there time in DH's plans for you to nap? Have some paracetamol, that will help and is allowed and op as oil/Vicks?

TSD slept 7-7 last night with TWO wake ups! AAAAAHHHHH we're getting there! Actually had a 4 hour stint last night and that felt amazing 🥳 he did wake up for banter at 5:30 but hasty dummy shove got him back down until 7! I think I've found that pregnancy glow... 4 months PP 😂😂😂😂😂

Woohoo, congrats on the solid block of sleep @Kate105, it’s amazing what just a couple of hours can do when before DC you feel wrecked without 8 solid hours 😂

Feeling so bad for all you ladies on dalteparin - I wish I’d been checking in and noted “the numb spot” finished my 10 days worth last night and so happy about it - DH felt like an executioner every evening coming to do it (yes I can’t even do it myself 😂)

Sorry you’re feeling unwell @Minster2012, I had a couple of colds whilst pregnant and the worst for me was not being able to have a hot toddy, I swear they are magical cold eradicating voodoo! Try some steam inhalation perhaps? Enjoy your weekend as much as possible!

I took proceive throughout @paintfairy along with omega 3, extra vitamin D and probiotics (as there is a little evidence that it helps protect against some allergies and DD had multiple allergies including milk and egg until she was around 2.5).

Hope everyone is doing ok and looking forward to some more birth announcements in the near future 🤗

So sorry for not being on these last few days!! But I come with good news...we got the house🥳🥳🥳 a bit of a rocky start to actually getting it with them accepting another offer then that falling through literally within 5 hours, so we got it for less than we thought too because we're in such a good position!!! So since Friday morning it's just been crazy!! I'm just hoping now everything goes smoothly and we can be in for around May time?? Time for me to start shopping for sofas and beds!!

@Minster2012 sorry you feel so shitty with your cold but try and enjoy your night away, it sounds amazing❤️

@paintfairy I was taking the pregnacare then when I had my booking in app the midwife gave me vitamins that had folic acid, vit d and vit c in them so she said once I've finished the pregnacare I can just start taking them so I started them the other day once I ran out of my pregnacare! I have my midwife appointment next Thursday so I'll let you know if she does the heartbeat, all I know is I need to take a wee sample but I used my last piss pot for my consultant appointment

@Juno231 we aren't doing much for Valentine's, we've got each other a card then we're going to our favourite curry place on Monday night, OH is going to have a meal off plan finally!! Are you doing anything?

Great news @Vil10! This is turning out to be a great year for you both with baby and new home 🎉 hopefully I'll be following you later this year and manage to find somewhere 😆

Well DH is a knob today. DS was being hard work this morning and apparently I wasn't 'doing anything'. You'd think the fact I fell asleep on the sofa whilst DS was whinging away would have told him something. But he was an arse with me for ages before telling me that. So, being the grown up that I am, I don't want to talk to him for the rest of the day, he can fuck off!

DS has been lovely with me...obv he thinks DH is a knob too 😂

@DKDK123 I'm sure you can always over egg it either way and I'm sure your consultant will agree with the 28 week from home due to risk from others. I didn't even know you could get stands for the Shnuggle baths I just broke my back instead 🙈

@larrythelizard you're such a champ still continuing with the gym 👏🏼 is there such thing as nipple warmers? You sound like me! I'd also be like that with DH, it's not like you're growing a baby or anything is it? I've been subtly whinging about having tummy ache, feeling bluh and baby being in a funny position for an hour and that my tummy probably just needs a rub but here I still am 🙄

@kaylsd what an amazing dream 😂 hope the night shifts treat you well and you can manage some sleep 🤞🏼

We're also not big on Valentine's Day, just bought him a card 🙈

Hate it when OH's get one on them @larrythelizard I had a little shout and weep at mine last night after getting cabin fever from being at home for basically 3 days since DS has been poorly.

@paintfairy I'm still taking vitamin D and folic acid (high strength...) coz of my BMI. Not sure when/if I'm meant to stop, I'll try and remember to ask as got midwife after 20 week scan next week for whooping cough vaccine.

Thanks for the solidarity @Minster2012 thankfully we had a night of slightly less of a temperature (only 38.5) so I'm feeling a bit more human.

Re. Valentine's, we've just got each other cards and I've bought us some cupcakes from the cake making lady in the village coz they're delish. And it's nice to involve DS - even though OH tells me it's weird. 😂

Thank you for the well wishes, we have gone up to Middleham if anyone is interested & had a lovely but BLOODY windy walk then been in the pub for the rugby, & a relax, tested them bed out now more rugby! Just like the old days 😜, I feel overall ok but just can't breathe through my nose, it's like center parcs all over again 🤨But more knackered now so hoping it's not gonna kill my sleep in such a lovely place 😴 I've been sizing up where I can @larrythelizard

Busy day here. I'll catch up in the morning. Been out for a meal tonight though and god. Barely anyone there, yet the service was terrible. Short staffed apparently and they did acknowledge it. Gave us a £10 voucher for next time. But I wouldn't go back.......

What is with this being awake in the night thing?! Needed a wee and can't get back to sleep!

DH apologised and I had a big nap before going out tonight so all good again here, he was very attentive last night whilst out which really shows he knows he was wrong 😂

We used the bath on the kitchen table for a while @bez91 - hope you felt better as the day went on.

Good reminder for me in terms of BMI and folic acid @feliznavidad2 I need to get better at remembering it every day. Hope you're all on the mend now

Worst nights sleep to date, rib pain on one side is bloody awful. Never had this with DD so I'm Googling 🤦🏼‍♀️

Less of a success last night because TSD kept waking up ne making weird noises. Turns out he really needed to fart 😂🙈 and then desperate to chat at 4am. And now he's just started screaming because he's scratched himself in the face 🤦🏼‍♀️ motherhood is such a joy!

Me and DH have just had a couple of hours to ourself whilst DD at dancing so Valentine's Day into the space of 2 hours with some 🍆 and rib pain slightly worn off so maybe it was baby stuck and has now moved, although I'm not sure if sex is a long term solution to rib pain when feeling so uncomfortable 😂

I'm thinking boy too @paintfairy 😬💙
