@paintfairy hahaha we're all just bobbing along worrying aren't we! But you are right, I guess nothing can be 100% accurate! I'm definitely not think about the other 2 syndromes as much, as like you say they're a lot less common and I'm guessing will be a lot less risk than the downs one anyway! They said they'll be able to tell at my 20 week scan if there's signs of edwards or pataus which I think is the case for anyone, so that'll be the first time I'll hear anything about those 2! The not knowing is stressful, I suppose it is only 2 weeks until my bloods and even though the quad test isn't as accurate it does give me something to go off, and like you say if it is low risk then you've got to think its right in some respect! Your score seemed low enough not to worry about but I know full well from experience no matter how many times people reassure you to not worry, you will still worry anyway😂
Also I think the whole nub theory and skull theory is just guessing too, only sure way of telling is bloods or seeing their bits!
@kaylsd it's all just old tales isn't it, but suppose it provides some fun!! I didn't ask what the heart rate was this time and she didn't tell me, we were too busy focusing on getting baby to lie properly😂 but the last 2 times it's been 157 and 164!
@DKDK123 Thankyou!! And your DS just sounds the cutest!! Can't stop laughing at him saying she will come out covered in jam, just the purest thing ever😂
@Minster2012 urgh hope today goes well with the neighbours, maybe a little rest when you get home??
@larrythelizard glad you're starting to feel better!!
@bez91 oh she deffo sounds like a hag😂😂
Woke up this morning and my stomach feels so sore and bruised, guessing it's from the scan, the woman was using it at one point to hit my belly to get baby to move into a better position😂😂 but I've woken up feeling a lot more positive and just so thankful that I've made this baby🥺 I'm also waiting on another appointment coming onto my app, they said because of the surgery I had on my back I'll need to see an anaesthetist further down the line, guessing it might be to talk about whether I'll be able to have an epidural etc! When I originally had that surgery the surgeon told me that depending on how my bsck is in the future I may not be able to carry a baby full term or have a natural birth, so not sure whether that will be discussed? I'm not entirely sure really, just going to see when the appointment comes through!
