@minster2012 @larrythelizard yip I was that tired yesterday I couldn't even get DH and DS right 🤣 DH can just about dress himself thankfully, although I do often question his taste in clothes 😂 it was DS in his PJs watching cartoons, I swear baby brain is taking over more and more by the day! 🙈
@Crazydoglady123 crazy how despite your best efforts you still caught it yet other people can live in a household with it and not catch it. It really is the most bizarre virus ever in terms of who it gets and how severe they get it! Glad to hear you don't have it severe tho and hopefully it'll be all cleared before bubs makes an appearance but sounds like your hospital are well prepared and accommodating just incase which must be a big weight off your shoulder.
Oh @kate105 you're bringing back so many memories of sleep deprived nights that I've buried to the back of my mind trying to pretend it won't happen again this time round 🙈😂 Driving at 3am was my go to just to give my ears half an hours respite tho I remember walking DS round the living room in the pram some nights at silly o'clock in an attempt to get him to sleep when I was too tired to drive. I know it feels never ending just now but it does eventually get better then you too can bury the memory to the back of your mind till your next one comes along 😂
@Haiyaa last week of work, you can make it! 🥳 100% with you on the hormonal front, I get teary thinking about how tiny DS was and that he'll never be that teeny again, then I get doubly teary knowing this one is my last and I'll never have another chance to go through all the baby phase again 😭 (but then I read posts like Kate105s and I remember having something that small isn't all fun and games 🤣)
@paintfairy yea you're right on the car seat front 45mins tops then they need to come out, but they don't need out for long just 10/15mins to help their spine straighten out and also to help their lungs open up. If they're bent over too long they can silently develop breathing difficulties. It scared the life out of me because around the time DS was born a local woman was in our newspaper warning people of the dangers of car seats for too long as they were going on a journey that was only going to take them about 40mins but they got stuck in a traffic jam due to a crash and it took them nearly 2 hours to get home, they thought baby was just sleeping in her car sear but sadly she'd died 😢 I hoped it was just a freak accident so read up on babies in car seats and sadly yes its true while it wont happen to every baby its one of those things that can happen so best err on the side of caution and take out after 45 mins. It made me so paranoid on long car journeys, we still had to do them as we've family 3 hours away but just scheduled in lots of stops on the way and I sat in the back with the car seat (constantly putting my hand on DS chest to check he was breathing when he got too quite, probably overkill but I was so paranoid after reading her story!). Don't know how I'll cope this time round tho as DS will be in the back with his car seat and with 2 cars seats in the back now I don't think I'll squeeze in too, already having major anxiety about car journeys! 🙈
Hope all goes well on the scan today, not long to go now! 😁
@clolo amazing on the kick film already! It's such a surreal time isn't it once you properly realise there's a living, moving thing inside of you that you can see moving.
Did you get back in time for your Asda shop @blackcurrantqueen? Typical isn't it!
@Sunbird24 giving you a big tight squeeze and hoping you're back on the bus in no time. I hope you've got lots of support around you IRL just now, take care of yourself and give yourself time and space to process everything. Sending you all the love in the world and crossing everything your happy ending is just around the corner.
@Vil10 I think its more common later on but you're just one of the unlucky ones that's going to need to stay off her back from early on. Hope you're feeling a bit better now.
